There is a curry restaurant in the food court on the 2nd floor of Fukuoka Airport. I ordered the black curry (980 yen) which is spicier than the dashi curry. The recommended way to eat is written on a paper on the spoon. The rice is delicious and has a nice texture. The curry is rich and initially tastes sweet. It's not spicy. I don't usually eat ramen (including tonkotsu), so the oil felt heavy to me.

Agodashi curry, what kind of taste is it? I was curious, so I tried it. It costs 980 yen without any toppings. The curry has no ingredients, what? It's almost a thousand yen and has no toppings? I took a bite. It's a bit spicy curry, but delicious. It's a thin type that I like. Thank you for the meal.

The airport lobby is attracting customers with the smell of curry? Intrigued by the scent, we placed our orders. I had the Agodashi Curry, while my son had the Tonkotsu Black Curry. The Agodashi Curry had a distinct flavor that was immediately recognizable with each bite. The Tonkotsu Black Curry, on the other hand, had a rich and flavorful taste due to the pork bone broth.

I was most delighted by the renovation of the food court at Fukuoka Airport because now I can enjoy the Ago-dashi Curry from Hakata Curry Lab. Today, feeling tired, I arrived at Fukuoka Airport and discovered that they had added Tonkotsu Black Curry to the menu. I ordered it with burdock tempura, pork cutlet topping, and pickled radish, along with Jasmine tea. The curry here is served with just rice and sauce, so I recommend adding toppings for those who prefer more texture. The unique Japanese style of using dashi broth in curry is highlighted here, so follow the guide provided by the restaurant when enjoying your meal.

I didn't like the name of the restaurant where we ate, but my companion wanted to try it, so we went. I'm not a fan of places that call themselves things like "○○ Laboratory" or "Hamburger Institute". However, I had to go along with it. The burdock tempura was surprisingly good, and the rice was delicious. I couldn't really taste the bonito broth in the curry sauce, but there was a bit too much curry powder for my liking. It had a strange sweetness that was a bit off-putting. The freshly fried burdock tempura was a highlight. I left half of the rice uneaten and finished my meal. It felt a bit lonely eating a curry with no actual ingredients - no onions or meat at all.

The curry with bonito broth for 920 yen was a bit expensive, but it's understandable since it's at the airport. I added a tonkatsu topping for 380 yen, which was crispy and not greasy since they fried it after I ordered. However, the curry itself was mediocre. It had a hint of dashi flavor but was overly sweet, making it feel mismatched with the bonito broth. It lacked depth, spice, and richness. I love bonito broth, but this wasn't it. Hmm.

This is a restaurant located in a food court where you can easily eat before your flight without much time. I tried adding Fukuoka's soul food-like burdock tempura to the light curry with dried bonito broth. The curry is light and flavorful with the dried bonito, so it's nice. The burdock tempura had too much batter, which was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the meal!

I had dinner at Fukuoka Airport and didn't have much time, so I stopped by a curry specialty store in the food court. I ordered the extra large Hakata pork bone curry for 1,200 yen and waited for the buzzer to call my order. It was a little after 7 pm on a weekday, and there were a few customers in the food court. They seemed to be waiting for their departure flights, leisurely enjoying their meals. After about 5 minutes, the buzzer rang and I picked up my order. The curry had a rich flavor, and the thick texture that spread in my mouth might be the taste of Hakata pork bone. It was delicious.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that I fly back to Fukuoka as quickly as possible just to eat this. Reviews seem to be divided, but for those who seek the richness and sweetness of dashi in their curry, this is perfect. If you are looking for a curry with an incredible richness and sweetness, you may want to avoid it. I love it. I hope they open a branch in the downtown area outside of the airport.

This time, the last stop of my Fukuoka trip is here. I was really looking forward to trying it because I didn't have time last time. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and rich pork bone flavor, with just the right amount of spiciness. It was very delicious. Of course, the beer was also delicious!

I had a delicious meal of Hakata Agodashi curry at Fukuoka Airport's 2nd floor food court (pre-security checkpoint). I arrived around 3pm on a weekday as I had missed lunch. I chose the Hakata Agodashi curry which was described as being medium spicy, as opposed to the sweet Hakata Tonkotsu curry. I opted for a simple version without any toppings. The curry had a soupy consistency with a noticeable dashi flavor. It was a unique and tasty curry that I enjoyed trying for the first time.

Fukuoka Tonkotsu Agodashi Curry, a curry shop located on the 2nd floor of The Food Times at Fukuoka Airport, caught my eye with its name. They offer two types of curry roux - one with tonkotsu broth and the other with agodashi broth. The roux doesn't contain any ingredients, so you can really taste the broth. However, it feels a bit plain. There are various toppings available. You order at the counter in the food court, pay in advance, and wait for your order. When it's ready, you go to the counter to pick it up. I ordered the Agodashi Curry for 920 yen and added a Chee-tama for 240 yen. The curry is served on a yellow oval plate. The roux has a strong flavor of agodashi and rock salt. It has a Japanese taste to it. I enjoyed mixing the cheese and egg yolk for a different flavor. The roux is smooth with no ingredients, so it goes down easily. It's like a drink, really. They provide guidance on the curry's uniqueness and how to enjoy it. Just for your reference.

Today, I visited this place before getting on a plane. I was walking around trying to decide what to eat when I was lured by the smell of curry. Tonkotsu curry? Ago dashi curry?! What is this place?! Feeling confused, I ended up ordering the ago dashi curry. I took a bite, and yes, it tastes like bonito flakes. Well, that's to be expected since it's made with bonito flakes. It varies from person to person, but I think the spiciness is moderately spicy. Hmm, I think I still prefer traditional curry after all.

Hakata Tonkotsu Curry? At Hakata Curry Research Institute at the airport, if you have time, go for ramen on the runway. If you don't have time, head to the food court. Fukuoka Airport has changed a lot. Tonkotsu Curry? Is that a thing? Does the water used at home turn into tonkotsu soup? Such a dreamlike story! Can't resist eating it! I'll order it right away (920 yen including tax). Since I don't have much time, I'll just go for the plain option without choosing any toppings. After about 3 minutes, the buzzer goes off, so I go to pick it up. There are instructions on how to eat it, but I skip them and eat quickly. How is the tonkotsu flavor? It doesn't have the richness of curry, which is why it might feel that way. I couldn't quite figure it out, but it was delicious! It's convenient when you're short on time. Thank you for the meal!

This is a curry specialty restaurant inside Fukuoka Airport. Among all the Fukuoka specialties I have tried, I was drawn to the Hakata curry they offer. The taste seemed to focus on the broth, not too spicy and easy to eat. As someone about to board a plane, it was easy to eat and enjoyable.

Breakfast at Fukuoka Airport, second meal: "Hakata Curry Laboratory Hakata Tonkotsu Agodashi Curry". I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Curry with less rice (recommended). The rich tonkotsu broth in the roux was flavorful and deep. Although I couldn't specifically taste the "pork bone", the richness and umami were evident. Since there were hardly any ingredients in it, I assumed they simmered various things with this roux to create the flavor. Very delicious. They also provided a paper with detailed instructions on how to enjoy the dish, which I initially found amusing, but following their guidance allowed me to appreciate the changing flavors. It was a fun and interesting experience. I look forward to trying the Agodashi Curry next time.

Fukuoka Airport was renovated and the must-try dish was the Acodashi Curry at this restaurant. When I stopped by after a business trip, I was pleased to see that they had expanded their menu to include variations like tonkotsu curry, chicken toppings, and tofu salad. Don't expect meat in the curry, focus on the richness of the curry itself. The tonkotsu version had a distinctive sweetness in its flavor.

Curry made with pork bone broth. The curry is not as thin as expected, more like a curry with a bit of sweetness, similar to what you would find in a hotel. It has a good richness, but lacks the punch that you would expect from a curry.

I chose to have dinner at Fukuoka Airport on August 7th. I selected a curry made with a soup base of jaw stock and tonkotsu soup, topped with grilled tofu. When I first tasted the curry, I could sense the aroma of spices along with the flavor of fish and a hint of sweetness (perhaps from the tonkotsu). It was very light, so it may not be satisfying for those looking for something rich or wanting to eat a lot of rice. However, it was just right for me since I had eaten a lot earlier in the day. But, as expected with airport food, the cost performance is not great.

Curry restaurant in the food court at Fukuoka Airport!! They have three types of curry roux: one for health-conscious people, one with bonito broth, and one with tonkotsu (pork bone) broth!! The tonkotsu curry was sweet and a bit rich!! The bonito broth curry had a strong dashi flavor and was really delicious!! If I'm feeling well next time, I want to add more toppings and enjoy a hearty meal!! I definitely want to come back here again because the curry roux was so delicious!
