Matcha latte can sometimes be overly sweet and lacking in matcha flavor depending on the store, but the one here has a refined taste with a distinct matcha aroma. Delicious! I got it to go this time, but I look forward to enjoying it inside the store next time.

After lunch, I was strolling through the shopping street but couldn't bear the heat, so I sought refuge in this shop. They have a system where you order and pay at the counter first. It took a bit of time for the order to come out, but the atmosphere of the shop itself is relaxed so it was okay. Thanks to the mildly sweet shaved ice, I was able to take a break!

The cafe serves freshly ground green tea (Asamiya tea) and matcha soft bread cake. They offer a variety of unique tea bowls to choose from. The atmosphere inside is calm and not too crowded even on a Saturday, allowing for a relatively leisurely experience.

After having lunch with a friend and feeling like we still wanted to chat more, my friend who knows a lot about the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street recommended a place to go. I had passed by the shop a few times and was curious, so I was happy to go. It's located in Tenjinbashi 2-chome, just across a big intersection from the main shopping street. I ordered Japanese black tea and a traditional sweet called "Nakamise." The tea came in a pot, so I could pour myself as much as I wanted. They had a variety of cups to choose from on a shelf in the shop. My friend had a matcha latte with a coffee bean snack. The atmosphere inside was spacious and relaxing, with the option to reserve a seat in the back.

[Nambokucho - Temmangu Shrine Area] #Cafe Visit Open from 1pm - Tea Concept Cafe I love cafes and shops with a tea concept, so I visited Osaka Chakai that I've been curious about. The menu was overwhelming, but I finally decided on the following items: - Matcha Daifuku Zenzai - Freshly ground green tea [Key Points] When you order tea, you get to choose from a variety of ceramic teacups and bowls to enjoy your tea. The relaxed and spacious atmosphere was also wonderful. If you like tea-themed cafes, I recommend checking this place out! - Cafe Osaka Chakai 050-5592-4130 1F, 2-1-25 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City [Tabelog] https://tabelog.com/osaka/A2701/A270103/27093217/ [Instagram] https://instagram.com/osakachakai?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y

There is an old tea house right next to Nambokucho Station ❤️ It is so well-known for tea! I heard rumors about this place and decided to check it out. When I entered, I saw many original tea cups on the left wall! As I walked further in, there were table seats, and in the back, I found a hidden private room behind a wooden door-like structure! Since no one was there, I decided to use that spot! (Maybe others haven't noticed this place yet!?) The process was simple: secure a seat, choose from the menu, order at the register. I ordered the simplest tea, a latte, and an iced tea. (I forgot to keep track of the prices ´д` ;) Arrived at 14:26, ordered at 14:31, and the drinks and iced tea arrived at 14:58. It took a bit too long, but overall, it was a nice experience! ===========

I visited a charming Japanese cafe in Osaka called CAFE Osaka Chakai, located just a 5-minute walk from Tenmangu Shrine Station. The cafe offers over 100 different tea utensils for you to choose from. The authentic tea flavors here are definitely worth a visit if you're in Osaka. I recommend trying their Tribute to Sweetness for 715 yen, their freshly ground Matcha Fluffy Latte for 550 yen, or their freshly ground Matcha for 495 yen. The cafe is open from 12:00 to 18:00 on Sundays and Mondays, and from 12:00 to 20:00 from Tuesdays to Saturdays. The average budget is around 1,000 yen. The address is 1F, 2-1-25 Tenjinbashi, Kita-ku, Osaka, 530-0041, Japan.

According to my boss from Wakayama, you can eat a soft Grin-chan at the supermarket's food court in Wakayama. It has been a long time since I last saw my favorite Grin-chan in Osaka. Is it not available in Osaka? I found a soft version of Grin-chan at the Coco Cafe in the Tenjinbashi shopping street in Osaka! A soft Grin-chan wrapped in matcha on a cocoa waffle cone! Soft Grin-chan is also wonderful! And of course, the ice cream is Grin-chan. There was also the usual Grin-chan at the supermarket near the shopping street.

When I want to drink tea, instead of going to a cafe or coffee shop, I come here. I decided to come here this time because they had shaved ice. The rich matcha flavor was truly exquisite. Maybe this is the best choice for the hot weather? Even though I said I wanted tea, as long as there is shaved ice, I always end up ordering both tea and shaved ice.

It's almost the season when chestnuts are on everyone's mind. When I come to Minamimori-cho, I always feel like I have to pay a visit to the Tenmangu Shrine. I can't just walk past it. While in the area, I searched on Tabelog and found this place to take a tea break. As I entered, I saw lots of tea utensils lined up at the entrance. I proceeded further inside to secure a seat. The menu was brought to me, and I went to the counter to place my order and pay. They explained that the water was self-service, with small paper cups provided. The menu had a wide variety, including Japanese tea, matcha, and even red bean porridge, which I felt like eating, but I was too full from the yakiniku lunch. I wanted to have shiratama. Is it popular with children too? Milk shiratama? No, I decided on the chestnut milk shiratama with white balls! I paid with PayPay and after a while, the chestnut milk shiratama with white balls arrived! It had a gentle flavor. I thought the small grains were chestnuts. The white balls were soft and chewy, and there were two of them. I wanted more white balls. It made me want to try making shiratama again after a long time. My father used to make it for us, and I always enjoyed helping him. Alright, I'll give it a try.

After enjoying a yakiniku lunch, we decided to stop by this tea shop for a little break. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while but hadn't gotten around to it. Inside, there were pottery decorations on the left side, with some items for sale. Once seated, a staff member brought over the menu, and we placed our order before heading to the counter to pay. I ordered the freshly ground green tea soda with matcha soft serve float. Due to their 5th-anniversary celebration, they were offering extra tea leaves for free until the end of September, so I got 1.5 times the usual amount. I chose a pottery cup from behind the counter, and they poured the drink into it. The green tea soda had a unique flavor combination of the soda's acidity and the bitterness of matcha. It was topped with matcha soft serve and matcha powder. Although they had other desserts available, I was too full to try them this time. I look forward to trying them on my next visit. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Ordered LUXA, black soybean tea, hojicha tea, lemon tribute, Osaka tea ceremony MONAKA. A Monaka with red beans from Hokkaido and mascarpone sandwiched between lemon paste. Souvenir: salt chocolate and bitter chocolate.

I visited for dessert after lunch at 13:40. I was a bit lost. The map was off, marking it near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine... I ended up calling to ask. I imagined a calm and chic shop, but it felt a bit rough... a bit disappointing. The tea was freshly ground and had a lovely aroma, very delicious. For the summer lemon menu... lemon tribute green tea set x1. You get to choose your favorite magazine. If you like one, they might give it to you... I ended up with a big magazine because I chose one without a mark. Enjoyed the ample tea... the freshly ground tea leaves sink, so you mix it with a wooden spoon. Thank you~ I'd like to try a different tea next time.

The quality of matcha and hojicha is excellent. I love the subtle sweetness and the rich flavor of matcha. They use plenty of flavorful matcha in their drinks, and the 1.5 times matcha option was great. Adding dried red beans was a nice touch. It took a bit of time, but it was clear that they take care in preparing the drinks. Located in the southern area of Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, this café specializes in Japanese tea and offers a variety of sweet-focused menus. The atmosphere is low-key, and even during café hours, it doesn't get too crowded. The lighting is mainly from downlights, creating a cozy and comfortable ambiance. Customers receive the menu at the counter and choose their seat. They then decide on their order and go back to the counter to place it and pay. Depending on the drink, customers may choose their favorite tea ware or cup from the shelf. Lemon Tribute (Green Tea Set / 935 yen) is an assortment plate that includes chilled sweet red bean soup, Oulin Garden's matcha soft serve, shiratama dango, and whipped cream with lemon peel-infused lemon paste. The whole plate is sprinkled with matcha powder. Although described as chilled sweet red bean soup, it is actually a cold sweet red bean paste. The lemon paste has a surprisingly strong sourness, which adds a refreshing touch to the rich flavors. As the main item is the soft serve, it is more of a quick dessert. The green tea was not overly sweet and had a pleasant, easy-to-drink intensity. It had a smooth texture and a refreshing taste.

Located near Nakamuraya, famous for its croquettes in Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. Even though I have passed by many times before, for some reason, I never noticed it... It's a quiet café that stands unassumingly. The interior is surprisingly spacious and calming compared to the outside. You pay upfront and they bring the order to your table. On this day, they added extra sakura bean paste for free, saying "we have a lot, please enjoy." The sweetness was just right, with many delicious sweet treats ❤️ I saw a few solo male customers, creating a very relaxing atmosphere ❤️ I will definitely come back ☺️

During a weekday afternoon, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very relaxed with only one other customer present. It was dimly lit and very calming, allowing for a leisurely experience. The matcha latte was delicious and I was impressed! The freeze-dried red beans served in a small dish had a gentle flavor and a crunchy texture that I really enjoyed. I was curious about other menu items, so I returned a few days later and tried the sweet red bean porridge. There were many different types of dishes displayed inside the restaurant, and I was told that I could choose which one I wanted my order to be served in. I definitely want to go back again!

For some reason, I felt like drinking Japanese tea and decided to visit this place. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, it was not crowded on a weekday, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. You have to serve yourself water, and you also have to go to the counter to place your order. You can choose your own pottery and select the type of green tea you want, although you can't see where it's made. It would have been nice if they had explained the brewing temperature as well, but oh well, haha. The prices are friendly to your wallet, so next time I want to try a different type of tea. It's not easy to find spaces where you can pay to enjoy Japanese tea, so I hope more shops like this will pop up.

My favorite type of tea is matcha, and today I want to introduce a cafe where you can enjoy Japanese tea. The cafe is called "CAFE Osaka Chakai" and it is located a 2-minute walk south from JR Osaka Tenmangu Station and Osaka Metro Minamimorimachi Station. The cafe is located inside the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping arcade. The atmosphere inside the cafe is calm and relaxed, despite the slightly cluttered exterior. It is a semi-self-service cafe where you can help yourself to water and towels. The menu includes original drinks made with freshly ground green tea, milk-based drinks like matcha latte and hojicha latte, simple Japanese tea, and tea-infused sweets. They also offer unique drinks like freshly ground green tea soda, hojicha cocoa with 70% cocoa, and freshly ground green tea shake. I ordered the most popular dessert on the menu, which is called "Sweetness Tribute" - a plate of chilled zenzai, matcha soft serve, shiratama, and whipped cream. The matcha soft serve is made by Tamurin-en in Wakayama City and is known for its soft and green texture. During my visit, they added lemon paste on top as a special touch for their 4th-anniversary celebration. I paired it with a cup of Asamiya tea from Koga, Shiga Prefecture, which has a noble aroma and elegant bitterness. The green tea and sweets were a perfect match! I love tea-infused sweets. The green soft serve was delicious too. It was a relaxing experience in a cozy space. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

How happy it would be to drink delicious tea in a cup of your choice! It's like a cozy place where you can relax at home. I went to have tea after eating curry. As soon as you enter the entrance, there are different cups displayed, and you can choose your favorite cup to drink tea from here. ☆ Uplifting Green Tea (450 yen) Wakayama tea Hot freshly ground green tea can be served hot or iced. You can choose tea from four different regions. It is a unique tea with a distinctive bitterness and aroma. There are many types of tea and they are delicious, so I will definitely go there again. It was raining heavily today. I thought I would get soaked, but luckily it turned into a light rain by the time I went to work, so I didn't get drenched.
