There aren't many tonkatsu restaurants in the area, so this is the go-to spot. You can have lunch for under 1000 yen including tax. You can get extra rice and miso soup for free. That's a big plus. I ordered the Goryokaku Set B with loin cutlet. The freshly fried cutlet is crispy and the pork is tender. It's a bit thin, but considering the price, it's understandable. The food was crispy and the shiso leaf added a refreshing touch... it was delicious.

The food arrived in about 10 minutes, with a large portion of tonkatsu. The meat was very tender and flavorful. There was a sesame dish on the table, so I ground up some sesame seeds and added table sauce to enjoy the tonkatsu with a sesame flavor, which enhanced the deliciousness. There was also a salt-based sauce for flavor variation. The meal was well thought out to prevent boredom. The cabbage was plentiful, making it a busy meal to eat. The "Rosu Katsu Teishoku" costs 1,800 yen, and you can have unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage. Enjoy!

It's cherry blossom season during the day. I search for a place to eat, assuming everywhere will be crowded. When I go to Lucky Pierrot, there is a long line. I find a place a little away from Lucky Pierrot where there is only one car parked in the front parking lot. There were customers inside the restaurant, but it seemed like I could be served quickly, so I decided to have lunch here. I walked around the park and was hungry, so I ordered the "Manpuku Set (980 yen)" which seemed to have a good amount of food. The food was served in about 10 minutes. The set menu included a pork cutlet bowl, fried chicken, salad, pickles, and miso soup. Additionally, it came with coffee for 980 yen. The pork cutlet was thick and delicious with a sweet and salty sauce. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and it was also delicious. I had the regular portion, and it was a satisfying and tasty set menu.

On Friday, I went to the restaurant planning to order the Pork Cutlet Set for 1000 yen, but ended up ordering the Manpuku Set instead. It's a set menu with a pork cutlet bowl, salad, and three pieces of crispy and juicy fried chicken. The fried chicken pieces are quite large, so it's more filling than it looks. The set also comes with a drink and costs 980 yen. It's truly satisfying.
