It's been a while since I visited Noguchi-san's restaurant. As always, the taste is consistently delicious. He mentioned that it has been 23 years since he started in Kitashinchi. Now he has become independent and even his apprentices have opened their own difficult-to-book restaurants. It's already a well-known restaurant that everyone knows. I noticed that they were talking about how rare it is for a sushi restaurant to have automatic doors. It's quite unusual for a sushi restaurant to have automatic doors!

A very delicate sushi restaurant. We start with a few kinds of sashimi, and the plum served at that time was truly delicious, leaving a strong impression. The two types of plums really complement the ingredients. Everything is so tasty that I always end up eating too much. One of the top sushi restaurants in Kita-Shinchi.

It's been about 2 years since my last visit, maybe the 4th time? I really wanted to go sooner, but time passed and I couldn't make it. Finally, I was able to visit Noguchi-san again ^^ The menu for the day included appetizers, sashimi such as red sea bream, striped jack, and swordfish, as well as grilled dishes like turban shell and mantis shrimp. The atmosphere was great as always, with the chef's skillful handling and presentation of the food. Even though it had been 2 years, the hostess remembered me, which was nice. They served good sake and delicious sushi, making it a wonderful experience. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I always get excited wondering if I can score a seat at the always-packed Noguchi-san (*゚∀゚*). I enjoyed a variety of side dishes along with plenty of sake, and after two hours of pure happiness, my stomach and heart are full (°▽°). I am completely satisfied (*´∇`*)♪

I was invited by a friend to Sushi no Guchi. We opted for the chef's choice for the appetizers, and they also offered oyster fry. The atmosphere was cozy and the hostess was cute and lovely, making us feel very comfortable. I almost don't want to recommend this place to others because I want to keep it a secret. Looking at the photos makes me want to go back again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

They served tender boiled octopus, fresh sashimi of red seabream, striped jack, flounder, swordfish, bonito, and more. They also had a variety of dishes like steamed egg custard with white fish roe, grilled taro, and crab. I enjoyed my meal with a refreshing watered-down sweet potato shochu.

I was invited by a senior colleague to a long-established sushi restaurant in Kitashinchi, and visited them. Despite arriving late and unexpectedly, the sushi served was consistently delicious. Just as I finished eating two pieces of sushi, a very important senior unexpectedly arrived, causing us to leave abruptly. However, the chef was very kind. I would like to visit again and enjoy a leisurely meal.

It had been a few years since I last visited Noguchi-san. This time, I was invited by a friend to have a girls' night out. I don't usually have the opportunity to visit places like this with friends, so I had a great time. My friend loves shiny things, so she made something different from what I usually do, and we both enjoyed it. I'm not really a fan of eel or conger eel, but the baby eel in the third picture was super delicious.

I asked for a recommendation for a sushi restaurant in Kitashinchi from an acquaintance and visited it. I left it to the chef's choice and ordered a course of appetizers and sushi. The dishes I enjoyed included octopus simmered in soy sauce, edamame, ateshimaaji (Japanese horse mackerel), madai (sea bream), kue (snake mackerel), hamo (pike conger) no nikogori (pike conger jelly), katsuo (bonito) with ikura (salmon roe), kanisomen (crab noodles), Nanjing kue (snake mackerel) tempura, dobinmushi (steamed soup) with matsutake mushrooms and hamo, sushi with squid, kohada (gizzard shad), amaebi (sweet shrimp), uni (sea urchin), hamaguri (hard clam), anago (sea eel), tekka maki (tuna roll), shinamaguri (chestnut), Tottori prefecture-grown pear, and drinks including draft beer, highball, and sake. The food was as delicious as rumored, and the friendly chef made me feel like a regular customer. I'm impressed!

I was recommended the a la carte menu from before 10 pm. I had whale bacon after a long time. The richness of the fat is irresistible. The thinly sliced bacon with the knife skills of a craftsman was the best whale bacon I've ever had! The octopus was also amazing! I wanted to order more sushi because it was so good. The gizzard shad was so good that I looked up at the sky, and the chef found something worrying about me. The chef's experience was evident, and he looked after all the customers with a smile, delicately and gracefully. Even when dealing with customers who were a bit difficult, the staff, who were as handsome as actors, were teased by the chef like a comedy duo. I laughed a lot. I think the taste, atmosphere, and communication with the staff are the pinnacle of dining out. Thank you for the meal. The combination of grated daikon radish with fatty tuna and sea urchin left a lingering taste that was a bit different for me.

Despite being in the middle of Kita-shinchi, it's a standalone building! The exterior has a modern Japanese style, and the interior has a warm atmosphere with only a counter. This is a renowned restaurant that has been listed in the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog in 2021 and 2022. The head chef is very friendly and cheerful. First, we had draft beer and sashimi with flounder, red snapper, horse mackerel, and mackerel. Then we enjoyed sweet potato shochu highballs. The meal continued with marinated bonito, crab liver, and abalone. We also had simmered bamboo shoots with butterbur and grilled blowfish with shirako in salt and sauce. The head chef is friendly and will serve you what you like to eat. There are not many sushi restaurants where you can eat what you like, so I highly recommend it. The head chef is also good at serving drinks and I always end up going home drunk. It's a fun sushi restaurant! Of course, the sushi is very delicious too!

I visited "Sushi Noguchi," located about a 5-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station. It is a single-house establishment with white walls and a fan-shaped sign light, making it easy to spot. The exterior has a modern Japanese feel, while the interior exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere with only counter seats available. This longstanding restaurant has been operating for over 20 years and has trained chefs who have gone on to work at renowned establishments such as "Sae Ki" and "Nakatani." They were awarded the "Tabelog Sushi WEST Top 100 Restaurants 2021." The dishes I had this time included: - Nanbanzuke - Amatekarei, Kochi, Kijihata, Striped horse mackerel, Otoro - Grilled conger eel - Turban shell - Bonito - Junsa and tororo - Hair crab - Live octopus - Alfonsino - Spear squid - Kasugo - Medium fatty tuna - Mackerel - Sea urchin - Horse mackerel - Pickled mackerel - Conger eel - Tamago (egg) The first half consisted of appetizers, while the second half was nigiri sushi. There was a variety of appetizers, which would be pleasing for those who enjoy drinking alcohol. The nigiri sushi had firm rice with a mild vinegar taste, making it easy to eat and allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. Personally, I found the "hair crab" appetizer to be particularly sweet and delicious. Gucchi-san at Kitashinchi is a solid high-end restaurant! The head chef has just the right amount of Kitashinchi vibe! The prices are high, but the upscale atmosphere is perfect for when you want to show off a bit! The sushi is delicious, especially the fatty tuna and conger eel, which are truly exquisite!

On a rainy night in Kitashinchi, I finally visited "Sushi Noguchi" that I had been wanting to go to. The counter was filled with customers eagerly anticipating Noguchi's sushi. The chef's intense focus and the swift movements of the kitchen staff captivated the guests. We started with a toast with a cold beer, watching the chef's skilled hands work with the knife. The sashimi that was served was outstanding, with each piece of white fish perfectly aged and prepared. The seared bonito tataki with ginger and garlic soy sauce was rich and flavorful. The white fish milt with ponzu sauce, crispy fried blowfish, and refreshing mountain vegetables were all delicious dishes that delighted the guests. The octopus sashimi with plum paste was a standout, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a surprising sweetness. The nigiri sushi that followed, including the signature roll with daikon radish, shiso leaf, and plum paste, was simple yet elegant. The chef's witty banter added to the dining experience, making the meal not only delicious but also entertaining.
