A cafe where you can relax. They seem to really like apples here. I tried the Dutch Baby and the Iced Milk Coffee. The iced coffee was super long and had too much ice, so I had to rescue some of it. The Dutch Baby was surprisingly delicious, light and fluffy. It reminded me of a crepe. It had a generous amount of lemon slices with lots of lemon juice, which was a nice touch. It was a relaxing cafe with attentive staff.

When I sat at the counter seat, the chair was a bit low and it made it difficult for me to eat comfortably. It was during a quiet time (around 5pm) so I regret not asking to move to another seat. I chose the "Small Meal and Sweets" set which included a mini pizza and pancakes, and added a 200 yen apple smoothie. The smoothie was delicious.

Kamikochi is a very cozy restaurant with a soft atmosphere. The lamps and lighting are cute, and there were many female customers. I had the Kurobe Dam Curry for lunch. It had apple slices on top of the curry, and you can add honey if you like! The curry is medium spicy, with a good balance of sweetness and spiciness. It's a menu that both adults and children can enjoy. The salad was served generously on one plate. The spoon was shaped like a shovel, which was cute but a bit hard to hold. They also provided regular spoons and chopsticks, which was nice. The empty milk bottle serves as a bill holder. Next time, I want to try the apple pie and coffee for dessert.

Sweets and a small meal set for ¥1600 (includes Shinshu milk gratin, soup, pancakes, and Azusa milk coffee). Visited around 4 pm on a weekday. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm. This is a cafe called Azusa Coffee in Kamikochi. I decided to visit because they recommended sweets made with Nagano apples, afternoon tea, and rice cooked in a kettle. You order by scanning a QR code at each table. An elderly man at the next table seemed quite puzzled by this... Today, I heard that the pancakes were different, so that's what I came for. When I think of pancakes, I imagine something like hotcakes, but it was completely different! It arrived in a cast iron skillet. The edges were crispy, and the inside was thin but chewy. I squeezed some lemon on top and then poured maple syrup over it. It was refreshing yet sweet, and quite filling. Next time, I want to try the lunch set. Thank you for the meal.

On Sunday around 3pm, I came to the store after a busy day and finally had lunch. I wasn't very hungry, so I looked for something quick to eat and found a delicious-looking omurice here. I helped myself to water, which included fruit-infused water and regular water. It was enough without ordering a drink. I placed my order using a QR code to order on my phone. The food was brought to me in about 7-8 minutes. The presentation was beautiful and it was nice to get plenty of vegetables! The omurice itself had a normal taste. Maybe because I don't usually eat omurice that much, but overall, I felt like it was just okay.

It was a cute and delicious cafe. The interior was cute and very appealing to women. The place was busy and crowded, but I would like to come back during a quieter time. The sweets looked delicious too. The vegetable dishes were full of women's favorite ingredients, natural and delicious. It was great. The self-service water cups were very small, so it would be nice if they were a bit bigger. Thank you for the meal.

It was around the beginning of Golden Week, so every shop had long lines! After checking out a few shops, I found one that wasn't too crowded and decided to go in. I entered through a wooden door that made me curious (it's actually quite interesting, so if you get the chance, you should definitely experience it haha). I was torn between choosing a regular meal or going for something like pancakes, but I ended up ordering the Shinshu milk gratin set meal with Shinshu apple smoothie for an extra 200 yen. I was a bit flustered because the orders were placed through a smartphone, maybe due to the pandemic. I was surprised to see jam on the seasonal pot rice and the gratin and today's side dish, fried chicken, were both delicious. Personally, I wish the presentation was a bit nicer though. I wonder if they crush the apples whole with the skin on for the apple smoothie? It had a nice flavor with hints of the apple skin. My wife and daughter ordered pancakes, which looked delicious and piping hot.

I visited Azusa Coffee at Hankyu Sanbangai and had a Rich Milk Cafe Latte. The interior of the shop had a casual atmosphere with a wooden design, which made it very cozy. The cafe latte had a rich and smooth flavor. I would definitely like to visit this shop again if I have the chance. (^^)

A family restaurant in Hankyu Sanbangai. I have been to other branches before, but this was my first time here. The restaurant was empty, so I approached the two staff members who were talking at the register, but I had to wait until they finished their conversation. Just when I was about to go to another restaurant, they finally showed me to a table and gave me a manual-like explanation with a bored expression. At least they should have said "sorry for the wait"! The "Shinshu Milk Cream & Apple Caramel Pancake" I ordered looked completely different from the menu photo, but I wonder if the taste is the same? The "Shinshu Strawberry Milk Smoothie" was also disappointing.

I found a cafe in Hankyu Sanban-gai that seems to be inspired by Shinshu. The prices were a bit high, but I decided to give it a try. I had the hamburger and shrimp fry set meal with a little less rice, which was decent and suitable for women. It was fairly tasty. It would have been better if the prices were a bit more reasonable.

When I went shopping in Umeda with a friend, we both suddenly felt like eating omurice, so we found this restaurant nearby. We arrived for lunch around 1 pm and there were about 2-3 groups waiting outside, but we were able to enter after a 15-minute wait. It seemed to be a Nagano concept cafe that uses Nagano's specialty products, and there was a corner in front of the register selling Nagano apple jam and Nagano sweets, which would surely excite women. Water was self-service. Of course, we ordered omurice! You can choose between a simple omurice and one with toppings. My friend ordered the chicken yamabushi, and I ordered the omurice with crab cream croquette topping. I can't resist crab cream croquettes when I see them! I love them. When I actually tried it, the crab cream croquette was crispy and went well with the omurice! I want to praise myself for choosing it... haha. The omurice itself was fluffy as I had hoped, and the demi-glace sauce had the classic taste, so it was delicious. The accompanying salad was not the usual dry, cut cabbage, but a lettuce salad with carrot and pickled purple cabbage, which refreshed the palate after the rich omurice. It was very delicious. However, one thing I felt was that there was a little less sauce on the omurice... The picture didn't make it seem that little, but since the rice inside was packed tightly, I felt it was a bit lacking... My friend also mentioned the same thing, so that was a bit disappointing (tears). Also, the fact that the plate was taken away as soon as we finished eating. It didn't bother me too much, but some people might interpret it as a signal to leave immediately after eating, especially if they are there for chatting purposes. The food menu has about 10 items, including hamburg steak, pork cutlet, chicken sauté, omurice, etc. The ordering system is done through a 3D system on your own smartphone. I ordered the hamburger set for 1870 yen. It arrived after a 10-minute wait, served in a paella pan, but it wasn't hot. The set included chicken tempura coated with mustard sauce, salad, and miso soup in a cup. The rice had a buttery aroma. Refills are available for 330 yen. The seasoning was on the stronger side, with plenty of oil used. Most of the customers were women, so the portion size is moderate, but the dishes have a strong flavor, so you won't feel too hungry. They also serve apple smoothies. This spacious cafe with a Shinshu concept is perfect for those who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Shinshu apples, Shinshu beef, Shinshu honey, Shinshu yogurt, Shinshu milk, Shinshu salmon, Niigata-grown Koshihikari rice, and other ingredients grown in clean air and pure water are the best! The fluffy omelette rice with Shinshu beef hamburger was delicious. The Shinshu beef hamburger and large shrimp fry set meal was a luxurious plate. The Shinshu pork golden cutlet set meal featured tender and light meat with just the right amount of fat. The Shinshu milk cream and apple caramel pancake was sweet and delicious, with chunks of baked apple on top. The Shinshu apple smoothie, made with apples directly from Shinshu, was customizable with different apple varieties. The local cider "Hasaider" was fizzy, sweet, and soothing.
