In the 10th floor of the Tennoji MIO Main Store, there is "Original Aged Thin Noodles Kourai". The Taiwan ramen seems to be popular, but this time I tried the Kourai noodles for 930 yen plus extra spicy for 100 yen. You can add extra vegetables or garlic for free. The soup, simmered with aromatic vegetables, has a light yet deep flavor. The extra spicy option adds a punch of garlic and spiciness. It's the perfect combination! I ordered a large serving of ramen and a small set of fried rice. It had been a year since I last visited, but the taste was too strong and made me really thirsty... I usually finish the soup when I eat ramen, but this time it was impossible... However, the thin noodles and the richness of the broth were delicious. I could see the kitchen from the glass case, and it seemed like they were preparing the fried rice in a large container and reheating it in a wok. It's probably necessary, but it was disappointing to see it in that visible location.

I visited a ramen restaurant on the 10th floor of Abeno Harukas in Tennoji Station because I was craving Kyoto-style ramen. It was quite crowded, probably due to the Obon holiday. The elevator ride up to the 10th floor was a bit challenging with the large number of people. Surprisingly, the restaurant area was not as crowded as I expected. This restaurant, Kourai, is known for its Kyoto-style ramen in Minami. I ordered ramen without meat, which had a 100 yen discount. I prefer noodles without toppings, so the rice set with free refills during lunchtime was perfect for me. The soup, based on pork bone, had a slightly thick texture and was delicious. It was not too oily, more on the lighter side. The noodles were firm and tasty, typical of Kyoto-style ramen. I enjoyed eating the rice with menma (seasoned bamboo shoots) and the table-side spicy miso with garlic. I discovered that spreading the miso on rice, pouring the soup over it, and turning it into a ramen rice dish was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

Kaoru Men for 830 yen features a light soup made from vegetables and chicken bones, topped with stir-fried onions, leeks, and bean sprouts with meat miso. The meat miso melts into the soup, transforming it into a perfect blend of rich and spicy flavors. The unique aroma of wheat and the smooth texture of the aged thin noodles are distinctive. It's a delicious ramen that transcends genres. It's definitely a must-try. If you order the lunch set, you get a free upgrade to a large serving of noodles, which is a great deal.

It had been a while since I last visited the restaurant street on the 10th floor of Tennoji MIO, and I decided to try out "Ganso Jukusei Hosomen Kourai," a noodle shop there. It was lunchtime, and I could see groups of high school girls nearby, creating a lively atmosphere. Today, I ordered the soupless "Kourai Men" and the rice bowl "Cha-don" for a change. The "Kourai Men" had a nice combination of crunchy vegetables and soft, chewy thin noodles, creating a pleasant texture. The lack of soup allowed the direct enjoyment of the vegetable texture. The spiciness was not too strong, providing just the right amount of kick. On the other hand, the "Cha-don" was a light and tasty chashu rice bowl. Surprisingly refreshing. It was a good balance when paired with the "Kourai Men." It turned out to be a satisfying lunchtime.

I went there for the first time and since I'm not very knowledgeable about ramen, I decided to try a classic ramen. It was really delicious! Personally, I think it's the best ramen I've had recently. My friend had the Taiwan ramen. You could choose the level of spiciness and he went for medium (the second level of spiciness from the bottom), which he found to be reasonably spicy and easy to eat, but he was sweating a lot haha. Next time, I want to try the famous Taiwan maze-soba.

I was surprised to find out that the delicious ramen I had at the Minami Senbon Honke in Kyoto is also available at Tennoji Mio! We arrived on a Sunday before 1:00 PM and were able to get in smoothly. After placing our order and going to the restroom, the ramen was already served when we returned, that's how fast the service was! The restaurant caters to a wide range of customers including families, couples, and students. We ordered a set with rice and karaage (fried chicken). The rice is apparently refillable! The ramen had straight thin noodles in a soy sauce-based broth with floating back fat. The portion of noodles was slightly larger than usual, with plenty of tender chashu (sliced pork) and lots of menma (seasoned bamboo shoots). The karaage was juicy, hot, and delicious! I was very satisfied and will definitely go back again.

In recent years, there has been a trend of popular ramen shops from Kyoto opening in the Tennoji area, and one of them is "Ganso Jukusei Hosomen Kourai" at MIO. I tried their "Chashu Ramen" (extra lard, normal green onions, with raw garlic) which follows the traditional Kyoto ramen style with rich lard and trendy flower-shaped chashu on top. The soup was a delicious blend of chicken and pork bone flavors, enhanced by the sweetness of the lard. The thin straight noodles had a nice firm texture, and the chashu was incredibly tender. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to have some sake with it. The price of 930 yen seemed reasonable, and they also offer a service set for an additional 300 yen which includes options like fried chicken, fried rice, or egg topping (available from 5 pm to 10 pm). It's great that you can enjoy this without having to go to Kyoto. I will definitely visit again. This time, I ordered the Char Siu Ramen. The bowl was filled with a generous amount of Char Siu which looked impressive! However, there was too much meat which may have caused the soup temperature to drop. The flavor felt a bit too strong, which was disappointing. Additionally, the fried rice that I ordered as a set came out separately and was cold by the time the ramen arrived. Hmm...

I suddenly felt like eating Taiwanese mixed noodles, so I searched around my current location and visited a restaurant. I was overwhelmed by the extensive menu but ended up ordering the Taiwanese mixed noodles. It was delicious. However, I don't remember much about it other than it being tasty. I'm also interested in trying the ramen, which is the top menu item, so I'll visit again.

Today I had the "Kourai Ramen" with a mild spiciness level, added garlic, and extra vegetables. Kourai Ramen offers five levels of spiciness, ranging from mild to extra spicy. I'm not good with spicy food, but the mild level was not spicy at all. The portion was generous and satisfying, with a slightly spicy flavor followed by the taste of chicken and pork broth. It was delicious.

I had char siu ramen. I could really taste the delicious flavor of chicken and pork bone in the soup, and it went well with the thin noodles. It was very tasty. This restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Tennoji Mio, and there is another ramen restaurant called Shinpukusai-kan on the same floor. It's quite rare to have two ramen restaurants on the same floor.

Visited "Ganso Jukusei Hosomen Kura Tora Tennoji MIO Store" in Tennoji-ku, Osaka City for lunch for the first time. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor of Tennoji MIO, directly connected to JR Tennoji Station. I entered around 11:50 on a weekday. The restaurant has about 30 seats at the counter and tables, and there were few customers at first, but the number gradually increased as lunchtime approached. Taiwan Ramen - 800 yen It took about 8 minutes for the dish to arrive. It was a Taiwan ramen with a chicken broth, garlic, and chili, served with medium-thin straight noodles. The toppings included bean sprouts, leeks, minced meat, and shredded chili. The Taiwan ramen had a refined taste with little roughness, and it was delicious in a normal way. Considering the location, the price was reasonable. It was a short stay, but I had a comfortable lunchtime experience.

There is a ramen restaurant on the 10th floor of Tennoji MIO Main Building. I visited around 12:30 and there was only one other customer. I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I decided to try the extra spicy ramen. It was more numbing than spicy, with a rich flavor that I found delicious. The fried chicken was decent, and you can get free rice refills. The portion size is generous, and the cost performance is good. If you like spicy food, I recommend giving it a try.

I had the Kaori Ramen with a little spice and extra vegetables. The spice level was pretty high, with lots of sprouts. The garlic flavor was quite strong. The noodles were flat and delicious. The soup was soy sauce-based and tasty.

On March 3, 2023, I visited the "Original Aged Thin Noodle Kourai Tennoji MIO Store" in front of Tennoji Station. Is this shop quite famous in Kyoto? Of course, they have a great deal for lunchtime. I ordered the "Taiwan Ramen (800 yen)" and the "Chicken Karaage and Rice Set (280 yen)". Oh no! When the dishes arrived, I was disappointed. I could tell right away from looking at the minced meat. As for the taste, I still think the minced meat should have been stir-fried... But the karaage was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

This is a ramen shop located in the restaurant area of Tennoji Mio's main building. I visited on a late night at the end of the year. About 80% of the seats were filled with customers. We were seated promptly and placed our order. I ordered the Char Siu Ramen for 930 yen and the Fried Chicken Rice Set for 300 yen. The bowl was filled with tender Char Siu that soaked up the soup, making it delicious. The set was also a good deal at 300 yen.

For dinner today, I went to the original aged thin noodle restaurant, Kura, at Tennoji MIO store and ordered the Char Siu Ramen. The ramen is a tonkotsu soy broth with back fat and Kyoto-style thin noodles. It's a good deal as it comes with a large portion of fried chicken and rice for an additional 300 yen. Tennoji definitely offers good value for money.

After finishing up some errands, we decided to have dinner in Tennoji. The restaurant had a casual atmosphere, making it easy for women to feel comfortable, and it was also very clean. I was torn between ordering the Kaori Men with stir-fried bean sprouts and chives, and the ramen that caught my eye with its chicken and pork bone broth. I ended up choosing the ramen and added some bamboo shoots as a topping. The thin noodles were just right and the soup was flavorful without being too heavy. I really enjoyed the taste, especially because I personally like the combination of chicken and pork bone. The Kaori Men that my companion ordered also looked delicious, so I would like to try it next time. Thank you for the meal!
