In Yuki No Niseko, méli mélo offers French and Italian cuisine using carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients such as local vegetables, meat, and seafood. The restaurant is located on the first floor of Yuki Niseko with spacious seating. Breakfast is also served here. For dinner, if you opt for a course meal, it is recommended to make a reservation. We visited without a reservation and ordered a la carte. For breakfast, you can choose between Western or Japanese style. There is also a buffet with salad, fruits, drinks, natto, raw egg, seaweed, and you can have miso soup and white rice refills. The food was delicious.

The Italian restaurant Meli Melo, located in Niseko, is associated with snow. The taste may be different from the original, but it is quite reasonable. The upgraded meat is delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, fitting for Niseko.

I stayed at the newly opened Yuki Niseko and reserved the 6000 yen course for dinner. The menu only listed the ingredients, so I was excited to see what dishes would be served. I couldn't decide on a wine, so I asked the staff for a white wine that would go well with the food, and they recommended a reasonably priced Australian wine, which I ordered by the bottle (4000 yen). The first snacks were bite-sized pastries filled with cheese and topped with prosciutto. Next, we had mozzarella cheese from Niseko Cheese Factory with lightly cooked oysters and finished with tomato water dressing, which was incredibly delicious. The highlight of the course was the kabocha potage with scallops, followed by pork and wagyu beef roast that we added as additional dishes. The bread served was warm and delicious, especially the sweet and fluffy square-shaped bread. The pasta was cold capellini with salmon roe, although I was hoping for the salmon and salmon roe pasta I saw on the menu. The fish dish was deep-fried silver whiting with basil sauce, and the pork sauté with squid was also excellent. By the time we reached the wagyu beef roast, I was quite full, but the meat was delicious with honey vinegar sauce. The dessert was muscat grapes and ice cream with a crispy biscuit crumble. Overall, the 6000 yen course was satisfying, with a good balance of wine, portion sizes, and quality. The kitchen staff seemed very busy, and the young waitstaff were attentive and hardworking. I silently cheered them on for the upcoming ski season.

Merimero in Niseko is a breakfast venue. You can choose between Japanese or Western style, and of course, most people choose Western. The breakfast included:
- A warm potato soup (Vichyssoise) that was heavy, lacked salt, and was difficult to drink.
- Flavorless scrambled eggs
- Sausages, bacon
- Two small bread rolls, scones, and wheat bread
There was also a half-buffet with vegetables, fruits, and some side dishes. The salad options were not very varied, but the onion, kiwi, and tomato ketchup sauce were delicious. The dressing included shiso, but it didn't have much of a Merimero touch. Overall, it's not worth the hype. Maybe dinner would be better. Thank you for the meal!
