In this town, there are three dinner places. The first one I went to was a smoky place with a counter. They said they do charcoal grilling, but then told me they didn't have charcoal. The only option on the menu was yakiniku (grilled meat). Instead of leaving, I asked if they could make tsukune (chicken meatballs). They brought me two tsukune and a cold oolong tea. The tsukune was actually microwaved, but it was tasty. When it came time to pay, I only had a 10,000 yen bill and was told 300 yen was enough for change. The owner apologized and said it was her mistake. Even though I probably won't come back to this town, I had a fun night. Thank you for the meal.
