I had always wanted to go there, but since I am a fan of Aabon, it was my first visit. The omakase course for 9,200 yen included 20 creative skewers such as shrimp, beef fillet, scallop, edamame croquette, grilled pork, fugu, white fish, duck, tofu, fuki and shiso, vinegar miso picoros, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage sprouts, salmon, tartar, pork lotus root, and curry with nagaimo, hanpen, and shiso. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were the sweet and plump scallops, the smooth and creamy edamame croquette, and the fugu with sweet and sour sauce. The tofu was like a tofu hamburger, and the tarako wrapped in pork and shiso was amazing. The lotus root was crispy with curry flavor, and the picoros were sweet and tasty. The sweet potato puree was smooth and sweet, and the fresh vegetables, especially burdock and tomato, were delicious. The homemade rice flour bread was fluffy and moist, like a cold chiffon cake with a hint of sweetness. The seasonal dessert options included champagne jelly with fruits, caramel banana ice cream, and fruit gratin, and I chose the ice cream, which was rich and banana-flavored. The espresso was also excellent. In my personal ranking, the fugu and edamame croquette, tarako and lotus root, and duck dishes were my top three favorites. Compared to Aabon's crispy texture, this place had a fluffy and melty coating, both delicious in their own ways. The portions here are 1.4 times larger, so you will definitely leave feeling full. I would love to go back again. #Yuichin's recommended gourmet.
