This is the last dinner before declaring a state of emergency. First, let's cheers with Nagisa beer! We started with a bite of sushi, chawanmushi, and thinly sliced kawahagi with ankimo and grated daikon with ponzu sauce, delicious! The sashimi included bonito, sweet shrimp with sea urchin, marinated sawara, tuna, striped jack, akashi sea bream, red clam, bonito with white appearance. The sweet shrimp with sea urchin on top was amazing, and the marinated sawara was a first for me. The sawara and tuna came with a bit of sushi rice. The grilled fish was golden eye snapper, with a nice fatty texture. The eel kabayaki and fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, with no bitterness. We had somen noodles with tomato as a palate cleanser, followed by tempura with spring vegetables and firefly squid tempura. The red clam with sushi rice and salmon roe was delightful. The wild boar soup was tasty. The bento box with octopus and sausage was a nice touch, and we could take the leftover rice home as onigiri. The red miso soup was served with dessert, and the course was packed with variety for 12,000 yen. I was very satisfied with the meal and appreciated the attention to detail in the dishes and sake containers.

It's been a while since I came to Shinyuki (^ ^) I sat at the counter and enjoyed chatting while eating my favorite dishes instead of a course meal. Cheers with bottled beer since there is no draft beer. I requested my favorite sashimi for the assorted sashimi platter. The taste of the sashimi was delicious, but the presentation was a bit lacking in elegance. Considering the price, I would give it a rating of 3.5. My friends use the private room in the back for business entertainment and they highly recommend it. It seems to be very well received.

The first installment of the "Single Nobleman Club" for 30-something single members of the company, where we try drinking at a slightly upscale restaurant! For the first round, we decided on the restaurant "Shin Yuuki" as it is close by and frequently mentioned in reviews on Tabelog. Our budget was around 10,000 to 15,000 yen. We made a reservation a week in advance and managed to secure a table. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant to have a calm and sophisticated atmosphere, not too formal but just right. By 7 pm, all tables were full except for the one we reserved. The set course was priced at 7,500 yen, and there were plenty of tempting a la carte options as well. We decided to go with the course for our first visit. The appetizers were elegant and delicious, followed by a unique dish resembling a brulee with salmon roe and sea urchin. The soup, featuring abalone and sea cucumber, had a luxurious taste. The sashimi was fresh and tasty, while the grilled fish, including horse mackerel, silver whiting, and sablefish, was exceptionally delicious. The steamed dish with red snapper and shrimp was also delightful. The fried lotus root was crispy and flavorful, although slightly fibrous. The main meat dish, likely Saga beef with onion skewers, was of high quality. We debated whether to end with the recommended chilled soba with sudachi, which was refreshing and a perfect conclusion to the meal. We enjoyed about 4.5 drinks per person, resulting in a bill of over 35,000 yen for three people, averaging around 12,000 yen per person. The food was enjoyable, high-quality, and worth the price. We look forward to trying a la carte options next time. The three-hour dining experience flew by, with the attentive service and pleasant ambiance making it a memorable evening. The owner even escorted us to the door and gave us a business card. It's definitely a place we'd like to visit again!

I called at 5:00 PM that day and was put on a waiting list for a table at 8:00 PM. Even though it was a Monday, the restaurant was full. The chef's skills in handling ingredients were excellent. The food was delicious. This time I ordered a la carte, but next time I would like to try the course menu. If you are in a small group, the course menu might allow you to try a variety of dishes!

I visited this popular Japanese restaurant, Shinkyuuki Main Store, to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday. The location is near Nakatsu Station, just off the main street. Despite not being able to reserve a table on the actual birthday, we managed to secure a quiet table in the back for a weekend celebration. The staff was very attentive from the phone reservation to the actual dining experience. We enjoyed a toast with shochu and beer before diving into the delicious dishes. We opted for a la carte ordering to try a variety of dishes, all served in generous portions. The food was beautifully presented in lovely dishes, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The highlight was the Saga beef dishes, which were incredibly tender and flavorful. The dessert plate with a heartfelt message was a perfect end to the meal. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we look forward to returning for the excellent seafood next time. The bill was around 20,000 yen for three beers and two shochu drinks, making it a great value for the quality of food and service we received. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Reservations are hard to come by, so I booked 2-3 weeks in advance. The fish, meat, and dishes are all delicious, but my personal recommendation is the fish! Also, the tartare dishes are recommended, I have them every time! I usually have the course menu, try a variety of dishes, drink quite a bit, and it costs around 12,000 to 15,000 yen per person. Satisfied!

Private visit. Very close to Nakatsu Station, so you don't even need an umbrella in the rain. The restaurant has a counter at the entrance, with a tatami seating area in the back. It's not very spacious, with 2-person and 4-person tables. We ordered a course menu, and since they don't serve rice dishes, we also requested the additional Tai Meshi cooked in a clay pot. The meal included soup, hot dishes, their famous Ikura tofu, 8 types of sashimi, 3 types of grilled fish, chawanmushi, squid eggs, duck breast steak, and Tai Meshi with green pea soup. It was perfect. I heard they now offer courses that include rice as well, but I haven't confirmed it yet.

My brothers and I visited this restaurant because we found it on Tabelog and made a reservation. It's located near Nakatsu Station on the Midosuji Subway Line, and has a calm atmosphere. Inside, there are counter seats and private table seats in the back. We opted for the chef's course which included various dishes like appetizers, sashimi, grilled fish, hot dishes, small plates, and a meat dish. We also added a mushroom pasta with truffle sauce as an additional course. The food was well-prepared and delicious, especially the sashimi and grilled fish. The meat dish at the end was so flavorful and tender, it was a pleasant surprise. The pasta with truffle sauce was also very tasty. The quality and quantity of food for the price was excellent, and we were impressed. We would definitely come back if we're in the area again. Highly recommended!

Located within walking distance from Nakatsu Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and Hankyu Railway, this restaurant offers high-quality dishes at a great value. The service is polite and pleasant, making it a place worth revisiting. Among the dishes we tried, the assorted sashimi was a highlight, allowing us to sample a variety of fresh fish. I highly recommend the Saga beef cutlet, Saga beef cutlet sandwich, Amakusa Jidori chicken grilled over charcoal, and the grilled blackthroat seaperch with salt.

Former colleagues from Europe visited Japan as a couple. They have experience living in Asia and are familiar with Japan. Additionally, they do not eat meat and prefer fish and vegetables. I was careful in selecting a restaurant for them. The restaurant is within walking distance from a hotel in Umeda. It is a small place with two tables separated by curtains at the back. We were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the customers at the counter. The menu is à la carte with a variety of options excluding meat dishes. The dishes were delicious and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant offers bottled beer as they are not a bar, but they have a few options available. They also serve sake and shochu. The dishes are served in beautiful traditional and modern dishes that caught the interest of my former colleague's wife. It's rare to find such a restaurant, and we all had a great time. Thank you very much.

Located just a short walk from Nakanoshima Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, this restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with a focus on traditional Japanese cuisine. The attention to detail in the ingredients and cooking methods is evident. The service is polite and leaves a good impression, making me want to visit again and again. Some of the dishes I enjoyed included steamed shrimp with egg custard, light bean paste on fresh eggplant, assorted sashimi, grilled snow crab with lotus root, and more. The menu also features dishes like grilled chicken with tartar sauce and Saga beef steak. Overall, a delightful dining experience with a variety of delicious dishes to enjoy.

My wife, sister, and I visited the restaurant. We started with a toast with local beer and enjoyed steamed whitebait shirako as an appetizer. It was delicious and promising. Next, we had tender boiled octopus, corn, and assorted sashimi. Each person received a plate with 10 different slices. We also tried grilled large clams with sea urchin, eggplant, and edamame. The meat dish we ordered was incredibly tasty. For fried items, we had fried sea bream, lotus root and shrimp croquettes. We finished with tororo soba and fried rice, leaving us full and satisfied. The staff and owner were friendly, making it a great restaurant.

I visited the restaurant and all the dishes were made with ingredients that brought out their flavors, with elegant seasoning. The presentation was beautiful and it seemed like they paid attention to the plates they used. The course had a good amount of food, and we were able to take home the leftover portion of the rice cooked in a pot. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I am entertaining my mother who is visiting Osaka for the first time... After getting tired at a crowded art museum, we entered this place at 18:50. There were two groups of customers at the tables in the back, no counter seats. The exterior is simple, while the interior is like a combination of a high-class izakaya and a traditional Japanese restaurant. The kitchen is run by the owner and two male assistants, and there is one male and one female server, totaling four staff members. We ordered: 1. Course Menu (¥15,000): 7 dishes x 2 2. Tai Meshi (¥2,600): Sea bream rice 3. Miso Soup (¥700) 4. Plum Wine (¥800) 5. Sake (¥2,000): 2 cups The dishes we received and our impressions: 1. Course Menu: - Appetizer: Assorted vegetables with gentle dashi broth. - Soup: Matsutake mushroom and steamed abalone soup. - Appetizer: Sea urchin, salmon roe, and tofu skin jelly with flavorful dashi. - Sashimi: Assorted sashimi cuts of various fish. - Grilled Dish: Grilled fish with Kyoto miso. - Palate Cleanser: Tomato from Kochi. - Hot Dish: Steamed scallop with turnip sauce. - Intermezzo: Jellyfish, seaweed, and cucumber salad with sweet vinegar. - Main Dish: Saga beef and Awaji onions in sweet sauce. The course actually consisted of 9 dishes instead of 7, but the portion size was just right for me. I would rate it a 4.1 out of 5. 2. Tai Meshi: The rice was cooked with dashi broth in a clay pot, then topped with grilled sea bream and steamed. The flavor was interesting but felt like something was missing. I would rate it a -0.2. 3. Miso Soup: The miso soup with seaweed and myoga had a surprisingly large portion, but the flavor didn't stand out. I would rate it a -0.2. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3.7, but considering the value for money, I would rate it a 3.9. We left the restaurant at 21:40, with about 70% of the restaurant filled. We stayed quite long, and by 19:30, there were reservations filling up the restaurant (walk-ins were not accepted). [Extra: Takeout Tai Meshi Onigiri] The next day, I unwrapped the onigiri and sprinkled some salt on it, and the flavor improved significantly. If you feel unsure about the taste at the restaurant, I recommend adding some salt.

I had been curious about Shinyuuki for a while. We sat at the counter, had beer, and tried various small dishes while chatting. Each dish had a unique dashi flavor, and I could tell they put effort into their work. We enjoyed sake, highballs, vinegared dishes, sashimi platter, and fried foods, all of which were delicious. We finished with ochazuke and pickles, and left feeling satisfied. The restaurant has limited seating, so it may be hard to make a reservation, but it's a place you'd want to casually drop by. Thank you for the delicious meal! \(^o^)/

The food service was quite slow, so it's best enjoyed by those who don't mind taking their time with dining and drinking. The assorted sashimi was served individually, one plate per person, and each dish was delicious. The ikura was a bit too salty, but still tasty. The grilled pork was delicious, and I couldn't help but devour it. The shrimp cutlet was made with 100% shrimp and was so good. The homemade tartar sauce wasn't to my liking, but it was light and didn't overpower the dishes. The Saga beef melted in my mouth and was delicious. The rice in the clay pot was too hard for my taste, and the miso soup didn't quite hit the spot. They even made onigiri for us and put them in a cute panda bag, which was heartwarming. Despite the slow service, the delicious food and pleasant service made me want to come back again. There were many tempting menu items, like the yellowtail collar. I wanted to try the lotus root manju too. I definitely want to come back again. The total bill for two glasses of sake, plum wine, peach wine was around 24,000 yen. It was a delightful experience.

Second visit. This time we couldn't get seats at the counter, so we sat at a table for two in the back. The atmosphere at the counter is definitely better, but my wife prefers the calmness here. Last time, I couldn't decide between meat and fish, so this time I decided on fish! However... the sashimi was great, the snow crab was a must-try, and before I knew it, I was once again struggling with indecision. But overall, I think I made some good choices and enjoyed the meal. [Food consumed] 1. Assorted sashimi 2. Snow crab 3. Clam and sea urchin grilled dish 4. Cream croquette 5. Grilled cod in miso sauce 6. Soba noodles with clam soup 7. Tan-tan noodles [Drinks consumed] 1. Ebisu bottled beer x 1 2. Higashiyama sake x 1 3. Kosyu Tsuru sake x 1 4. Kudoki Jozu sake x 1 Anyway, I am always captivated by the menu, satisfied with the food, and the bottom of this restaurant is still unknown. So, I will definitely continue to visit! Thank you for the meal today as well!
