Since it was Christmas Eve, I decided to try something different from Western cuisine and made a reservation for 4:30 PM. I was the first customer since it was quite early. I started with a draft beer, which was poured with great care—the foam was delicious too. The first dish was a gelatinous dish with a rich flavor enhanced by ginger. The sashimi came beautifully arranged, with various types on each plate—such a delightful touch. Everything was up to par. The Japanese sake included in the all-you-can-drink course was "Sake Hitotsu," from Okayama, and it was quite good. Next came the melt-in-your-mouth monkfish liver, followed by negima skewers, which I suspect were grilled fatty tuna. The fat was delicious. The tempura featured sweetfish and something else I can't recall, both lightly and crisply fried. The stewed cod was prepared to highlight the flavor of the fish. I forgot to take a picture, but to finish, we had shirasu rice and miso soup. I think I had around five cups of sake. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and had plenty to drink for a total of 5,500 yen. The cost performance was excellent! I’ll definitely come again.

I visited again to enjoy the delicious dishes. I definitely ordered the crab meat, and this time it was snow crab! Additionally, I ordered fresh tuna, abalone steak, raw oysters, a salad piled with shirasu, assorted sushi, yam fries, and fried Meghlight fish. My recommendations are the yam fries and the assorted sushi (^_^) Everything was delicious, but the yam fries, with their crispy skin and fluffy interior, were shockingly good. The assorted sushi was quite filling, generously topped with salmon roe, sea urchin, chopped tuna, and crab, making it feel like a great deal. As always, it was crowded and full by around 6:30 PM. I will definitely go back again ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The entrance of the restaurant gives me butterflies, but once I step inside, it's lively and cheerful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the place. I ordered a course meal, but it was served quite quickly, possibly because there were other customers. It was a bit disappointing since the food was so delicious. Well, I guess that’s to be expected during the year-end party season. It was nice that for an additional 1,000 yen, the selection of sake increased, which was a pleasant surprise!

I visited Ushimasa! I went early on Sunday evening, so there weren't many people, which was nice! The ankimo ponzu was incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend it! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here, so if you’re looking for an izakaya in Ginza, it's definitely worth a visit! Everything was delicious! The toro-taku was also the best! I've been there multiple times, and I will go again! Thank you!

Tired of greasy meals, I visited this place in the middle of the week after work. The seafood here may not have any standout characteristics, but it has a consistent quality that never disappoints. I enjoyed seasonal items like sanma (mackerel pike) and clams. The wide variety of sake would make it a great spot to come back to with a larger group.

The sashimi platter is served individually. The simmered fish is a great value at just 100 yen, and the fish soup has two beautifully grilled pieces, which is a nice touch. The sweet sea bream grilled with pine cone seasoning has crispy scales that taste amazing, and the flesh is tender. The steamed sea bream and clams have firm, juicy meat, and there are five clams included. The soup is delicious.

I had been curious about a restaurant called "Sakana Shin" (4th Base, Fish True) after finding it on Tabelog, and I heard from people around me that it's a great place to eat. I thought it was a bit far to go to Shibuya, but then I found out they have a location in Ginza! After actually visiting the restaurant, I can say that all the dishes were delicious. The sashimi was served on a chilled plate, showing great attention to detail, and everyone in my group was very satisfied. The all-you-can-drink cold sake was also well done, as they served it from a 1.8-liter bottle into 720-milliliter ones. Plus, for an additional 1,000 yen, you could upgrade the sake selection, which I would like to try next time. I definitely want to revisit this restaurant!

I went to a restaurant that my colleague found for me! Basically, every dish was delicious! Among them, the fish head soup really surprised me. It had a lot of fish meat in it, which made it perfect for enjoying with some drinks, haha. The menu is also extensive and changes daily, so I highly recommend it!

This was my third visit at night, but it had been seven years since my last one. The restaurant is just a few minutes from Tokyo Metro's Ginza and Higashi-Ginza stations. Online reservations are available only until 6:30 PM, and there's a two-hour limit for dining. I first ordered the "Sashimi Platter (Chef's choice for one person)" for 1,200 yen (available for two servings or more) and enjoyed a glass of "Soave." The "Sashimi Platter" is served in a more elegant style compared to my previous visits, though the portion size seems to have decreased. It includes eight types of fish: "Kinmedai" (red snapper), "Kanpachi" (amberjack), "Managatsuo" (longtail tuna), "Katsuo" (skipjack tuna), "Kibinago" (silver-stripe round herring), "Madai" (sea bream), "Aji" (horse mackerel), and one more type I forgot, each piece being smaller in size. While it looks beautiful, I would have appreciated slightly larger portions. On the other hand, the "Simmered Tuna Cheek" (1,080 yen) was surprising in size, offering a satisfying portion and great taste. I also had "Potato Salad" (680 yen) and "Negitoro (fine rolls)" (700 yen), which left me feeling satisfied. I preferred the style of the sashimi from my visit seven years ago.

I added an all-you-can-drink option to my course meal. It started with jelly-like fish stock and monkfish liver, and I finished the meal with sushi, all delicious and served promptly. The all-you-can-drink beer was great too. Since it was hot outside, I plan to visit again when it's cooler.

I was looking for an izakaya in Ginza and found this one, so I decided to visit. The dishes I ordered were avocado yukke, steamed clams and asari, and a premium sashimi platter. The sashimi included sea urchin and abalone, which made me very satisfied. The menu is extensive, and there were many other dishes I wanted to try, so I would like to visit again.

I made a reservation for a table at 7 PM on Friday. It was nearly full, as expected from a popular restaurant. I appreciated that the sashimi and steamed shellfish were served in individual portions! Although it's a chain restaurant, the quality of the fish is reasonable for the price, which is great!

I had a great time with the course meal, as all the dishes were delicious. I was particularly pleased with the variety, including the simmered herring, which I normally wouldn't order myself. I was very satisfied overall. However, I deducted 0.5 points because the all-you-can-drink sake didn't suit my taste. But considering the price with unlimited drinks included, the cost performance is excellent.

I visited Uomasa, an izakaya and sushi shop initially rooted in a fish market, for the first time! Since the opening of the Shimokitazawa branch, they've been experimenting with how to best prepare fish and what types to source for their customers’ enjoyment. Uomasa has been around for over 30 years and has 10 locations, but simply put, my takeaway was that it’s a place with "delicious fish only.” Of course, the sashimi is great, but I also enjoyed grilled fish, tempura, and more, all featuring seasonal ingredients paired beautifully with tasty drinks.

I was invited to "Uoshin" for the first time, and I must say, I was satisfied with the flavors!
■ What I ordered:
- Sashimi platter: Sea bream, horse mackerel, bonito, amberjack, scallops, octopus
Overall, it was quite good.
- Nameko (miso-stewed fish): Today, it was made with sardines, and the richness of the sardines and the sweetness of the miso made it a delightful dish.
- Oysters: They had a subtle sweetness and a strong briny aroma.
- Grilled skin-on Japanese grouper: This was sweet and delicious! The moderately dried texture that sticks to the palate was irresistible. The smoky flavor from grilling enhanced the dish, making it my favorite!
- Grilled fugu (pufferfish) liver: The outside was fragrant, and the creamy liver oozed out. It gets served piping hot, so be careful not to burn yourself.
We also tried various other dishes like grilled tuna collar, tuna skewers, and grilled conger eel. You can tell that a lot of care goes into making everything, and I definitely want to come back for more!

I was craving fish and visited without a reservation. It was fully booked, but luckily I only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated! The sashimi platter was of course delicious, but on this day, the fried Mejikari was the highlight. The fish was fluffy and satisfying! The seafood here is really tasty and the price is reasonable, making it one of my favorite places. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

#Ginza #Uomasa #FreshBluefinTuna #Sashimi ¥1980 #ToroTaku #Snacks ¥880 I ordered a few other dishes, but I oddly forgot to take pictures of them. The fried MeHikari was also delicious! At the counter next to me, there were two eccentric diners, one a distinguished older gentleman and the other someone on the verge of goth-Lolita style (age unclear). There was an array of luxurious dishes like crab shell sashimi and Kinme (red snapper) simmered, which made me curious about the occasion they were celebrating. Haha. **#GinzaGourmet #HigashiGinzaGourmet #GinzaSake #TokyoFoodExperience**

I ordered a sashimi platter for two. The chef arranged it beautifully on one plate, making it easy to eat, and I could really feel their sense of style. As a seasonal treat, I enjoyed grilled broad beans while sipping draft beer and sake in the early evening light. The minced snow crab was firm and absolutely delicious. Each Fish-Ma location has its own unique atmosphere, but I felt that the Ginza branch is a place where adults can relax and enjoy their time.

The menu is packed with seafood options. I ordered a sashimi platter that came with about five different types, and they were all delicious, so I highly recommend it! I also ordered simmered fish, but there was very little edible flesh, and the seasoning felt quite strong.

I have been to the locations in Ebisu, Shibuya, and Shinjuku, but personally, I like this restaurant the most. The sashimi is amazing, and all the dishes are delicious. Unfortunately, my usual order of the "noke mori" didn't arrive this time. However, my friend, who has been wanting to eat fish, was very happy. I definitely want to come back again! ❣️

This seafood izakaya is easily accessible from both Ginza Station and Higashi-Ginza Station. It's located in a basement, featuring a calm and relaxed interior with a good selection of wines. It seems to be run by a fish market, so everything you order is fresh and delicious. Their signature dish, the "Nokke Sushi," comes in a generous portion that is quite impressive.
