I love meat and was really looking forward to this restaurant! It was even more wonderful than I imagined! *Benjamin Steakhouse* at KITTE Osaka, which has its main branch in Manhattan, New York, opened on July 31. The atmosphere is fantastic, from the moment you enter with the stylish bar counter to the private booths. For dinner, I had the USDA Prime Porterhouse Steak Course, which included: - 1st: Shrimp Cocktail - 2nd: Caesar Salad with Bacon - Main: USDA Prime Porterhouse Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Creamless Creamed Spinach - Dessert & Coffee: Today's Dessert with Coffee or Tea The large shrimp with bacon was delightful, and the portions were generous! The main steak was fantastic, especially when paired with the mashed potatoes and spinach. I enjoyed it both on its own and with various steak sauces. The USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) certified Prime Beef is aged in their own aging room for at least 28 days, showcasing their commitment to quality. The chefs are trained under an executive chef with over 20 years of experience in Manhattan, using steakhouse-style cooking methods to grill the delicious beef perfectly. The restaurant is popular with international guests, and I noticed many groups, from two people to larger parties, enjoying their meals. There's even a VIP room, making it a classy dining spot!

I was able to spend my time in a very nice atmosphere that felt like a private room. The Caesar salad, dressing, and cheese were all delicious, and the steak was incredibly tender and tasty! The cake was beautifully decorated as well, which was amazing.✨

I visited on a weekday evening and ordered the T-bone steak course for 18,000 yen. The first dish was a shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp were huge. There was no unpleasant smell, and they tasted refreshing. Next was the Caesar salad with bacon, which was more like bacon with lettuce. The bacon was thick and incredibly delicious. For the main course, the prime T-bone steak did not disappoint; it was flavorful with a perfect char on the surface and ideal saltiness. The meat became more flavorful with every bite. It looks like a large portion, but I could easily eat it all. If it were a bit cheaper, I would want to eat it every day; I really enjoyed it!

On November 10, 2024, I attended a concert by the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra. For lunch, I had steak in Umeda! Delicious! I ordered the LUNCH PRIX FIXE MENU, which was 7,700 yen (including tax, plus a 10% service charge). I also had a SAN PELLEGRINO for 1,320 yen and a glass of Syrah for 2,200 yen. Thank you for the meal!

At Kitte Osaka on the 5th floor, I had the USDA Prime T-Bone Steak course for lunch, along with an additional seafood platter. The bar counter had a decent atmosphere, but the dining area where we actually ate felt somewhat cheap. Although it was supposed to be a new restaurant, the stains on the cheap wallpaper were concerning. The salad, which contained crab meat, was delicious. The seafood platter looked extravagant and had a good variety, but it lacked freshness and had a strong vinegar taste, reminiscent of a Western-style preserved New Year's dish. The soup didn't cleanse my palate; it made it feel heavy before the steak. For the main course, I ordered the steak medium-rare. Both the tenderloin and sirloin sides were dry, lacking flavor and tenderness, which was disappointing. It felt like a family restaurant level or even lower, and I was really let down because my expectations were high. I figured they are still experimenting with dry aging. I did enjoy the cheesecake at the end. The service from the dining staff was good. I don’t plan on returning anytime soon, but if they become a well-regarded establishment over time, I would consider visiting again.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in Japan. Since it's a new establishment that opened in July 2024, the atmosphere doesn't yet fully reflect a New York-style steakhouse. There was a mix of scents that I hadn’t experienced at restaurants in New York City or the suburbs, which made me feel that the quality might still be unstable. As a highly anticipated addition to the still limited number of New York-style steakhouses in Osaka, I hope they can enhance their quality in the future. I plan to visit again.

A new landmark building, KITTE Osaka, has opened in Umeda. Inside, I visited Benjamin Steak, where I enjoyed an authentic American steak experience. The staff who served us were very friendly and clearly explained what their recommendations were and what to order. Not only was the steak delicious, but the side dishes were also incredibly tasty, making for a very satisfying meal. I had a wonderful dinner and will definitely visit again!

It's dinner time. This seat is nice and allows me to relax. So far, I have no complaints at all, which is reassuring. I don't feel like the time is dragging, and my meat hasn't gotten cold either. Generally, in steak houses like this, it's also possible to have your meal reheated.

On Saturday for lunch, I was able to relax and enjoy myself without the sound of children crying. The service was good, and the explanations were thorough, which was great. The quality of the food and the condition of the meat were also good. I would like the half-size dessert to be available for dinner as well. Additionally, I hope they will offer a half-size option for the wagyu caviar that other restaurants have. If they did, I would definitely order it. The full-size portions and the T-bone steak are a bit too much for me to finish.

I chose a lunch course that included a salad, soup, and a main dish. I was pleased to see a wide selection of wine by the glass, including Crou du Bar. I opted for the lobster bisque as an add-on for the soup, and for the main dish, I selected the filet mignon. Though they recommended it cooked medium-rare, I would have preferred it a little more on the rare side. The accompanying mashed potatoes and spinach were delicious. Despite being in the busy KITTE shopping center, it was relatively quiet there. While making a reservation seems to be slightly more expensive, it's a better option to ensure a spot.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the hospitality of the staff were truly wonderful. The staff member assigned to our table served us, but during our meal, other staff members also checked in on us, which made for a very pleasant experience. Of course, the food was delicious. We added soup and crab cakes to our course, but the portions were unexpectedly large. The size of the dessert was also impressive! It felt like a special treat, and I would love to visit again.

I went with some coworkers! It was incredibly delicious. I thought I might be hungry because there weren't many dishes, but I wasn't at all. The seasoning and cooking of the meat were perfect. I want to go again! Next time, I’d like to enjoy some wine. Onion soup, filet mignon, and panna cotta.

I made a reservation for the Early Porterhouse Short Course (limited to weekdays from 5 PM to 7 PM) at Benjamin Steakhouse, located on the 5th floor of the newly opened KITTE Osaka, and I visited at 6:30 PM. The restaurant had a luxurious atmosphere, and I enjoyed a leisurely meal at a window-side table while looking outside. I ordered the Prime Porterhouse Steak, recommended to be cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. Although it was a short course, there was a good amount of meat, and with the salad, bread, and dessert, I was fully satisfied. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

Yesterday, I embarked on a drinking tour in Tokyo with my friends. For our second day's lunch, we decided to visit a place where we could relax and enjoy some delicious food. Since we arrived right after opening, it was my second visit, but I was impressed by the steady flow of customers and the professionalism of the staff. Even though it’s a high-end steakhouse located in a commercial facility, I was surprised to see that there are many people who appreciate a good meal during lunchtime, which was a valuable lesson for me.

I have been to Benjamin in Kyoto a few times, and I was curious about the one that opened in Osaka. Luckily, I had a reason to visit Kitte, so I stopped by. The tartare steak topped with caviar is recommended, but I chose the tuna tartare instead. The combination of porterhouse steak and creamed spinach is a classic that never disappoints, and I left feeling very full. I would love to come back again! 😊

For dessert, we had New York cheesecake, which was lightly finished, and the whipped cream was just right. Additionally, the beef came with mashed potatoes and cream spinach without needing to order them. I'm glad Benjamin Steak House finally opened in Osaka, and I would love to visit again.
