Ori-Jin has opened a new dining spot in the Nijo Komachi building, bringing together three of Hokkaido’s top gourmet dishes: Jingisukan (grilled lamb), seafood bowl, and ramen! There are some discrepancies with the map information, which has been reported to the management. Each restaurant has collaborated to create special menu items, including lamb hot noodles, Harahara cold noodles, and Ori-Jin's lamb and tuna tataki bowl, featuring the strengths of each shop. The interior is compact with four tables, offering space between them, and excellent ventilation. It's comfortable for those sensitive to odors or tourists. The Jingisukan from Ekorin Village and Harahara cold noodles are definite highlights, but you can also enjoy half portions of the original Harahara ramen's spicy miso and lamb hot noodles here! This is a place where you can enjoy two cuisines at once! **Order Summary:** - **Lamb Comparison Set (1,958 yen)**: For the first three days of opening, this set was half price. Though it's ended now, as you can only order one plate, it's better to visit at a time when it’s not crowded. The Jingisukan comes from Australia and offers three different cuts, air-freighted for freshness. It has no strong lamb flavor and is extremely tender with rich umami! It was delicious! The unique thing here is the salt. There were two types on the table, and when I tried them, I found that the soy sauce-based salt paired well with the meat! The other white salt seemed to be a blend that enhanced the flavor, and after seasoning the meat with it before grilling, it was incredibly tasty! The dipping sauce was generally delicious but lacked depth due to its youth, suggesting that it will develop more complexity over time. I added some grated garlic and a bit of chili; I was relieved it didn’t toughen the meat texture like at other places. - **Appetizer (500 yen)**: A lovely vegetable starter! The sweet potato was excellent! I even asked the staff, excited about how long it was aged! I want to make potato salad! The restaurant Sapporo Jingisukan Ori Jin is located in the Nijo Komachi building in Sapporo's Chuo Ward. The first floor has a ramen shop, the second floor features a seafood restaurant, and the third floor is a Jingisukan (grilled mutton) shop. The ramen shop is a branch of the popular ramen restaurant, Sapporo Ramen Hara-Hara, which originated in Ebetsu. I was thrilled to see it open in Sapporo since I had previously enjoyed their diverse menu in Ebetsu. From October 1st to 3rd, they were offering ramen for just 500 yen on the first floor at Sapporo Ramen Hara-Hara, and there was a big queue. The Jingisukan restaurant is a small establishment with only four seats. We ordered a selection of drinks, a lamb tasting set, shoulder loin from Ekorin Village in Eniwa, Ori Jingisukan, lamb chops, Ori Jinsan kimchi, and lamb chorizo. The tasting set included upper lamb, sirloin, and rump, and as part of the opening special, it was about half price. I don’t particularly enjoy marinated Jingisukan or lamb tongue, so I only ate the maton roll and the filet from Ekorin Village, but I found the upper lamb to be the tastiest, even more so than the more expensive Ekorin Village shoulder loin. I ended up ordering extra portions of the upper lamb. The lamb chops and lamb chorizo were also delicious. Although the variety of items you can order inside the Jingisukan shop is limited, you can also order ramen from Sapporo Ramen Hara-Hara on the first floor. There are no all-you-can-drink or course sets, and I was disappointed that the cold noodles were sold out. The service was incredibly good as well.

On September 30, the "Seikitsushikan" opened on the third floor of Nijokomachi, located at 3-11-8 Minami 2-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. I had lunch today at the second floor "Sapporo Kassen Dosho," where I enjoyed a seafood bowl, and then at Ramen Hamazora on the first and basement floors for ramen. In the evening, I visited the third floor for jingisukan (grilled lamb). I arrived around 5 PM, and there was a line of about ten people in front of Nijokomachi, all waiting for ramen. I passed the line and went inside. The third floor is a bit cramped with only two four-person tables and two two-person tables, making it just enough for a small crowd. The kitchen is at the back, so you can't see what’s happening inside. When I arrived, there was a solo female customer, followed by a Korean couple and a group of two men, and soon the place was full. The cooking style uses a gas stove and a jingisukan pot. They served a pot with cabbage, onion, and bean sprouts. I was told, "The onions are a variety called Okhotsk." I assume this vegetable is complimentary and included in the meat price. I ordered three "Kaku Highballs" for 600 yen each. The glasses are thin, and I found the whiskey just a bit weak. I wish they could make it with the right amount. Next, I tried the "Lamb Tasting Set" (for two people) priced at 1,958 yen, which was half off due to the opening promotion. Thank you! This set includes three premium cuts of lamb: "Upper Lamb," "Sirloin," and "Lamb." - **Upper Lamb:** This shoulder loin cut has a wonderful balance of lean and fatty meat. It is pleasantly firm yet tender and juicy. While the sauce is good, you can really appreciate the natural flavor of the lamb when seasoned with salt. - **Sirloin:** Also very tender and juicy, with a rich aroma—definitely high quality. - **Lamb:** Richly colored and has a deep meat flavor without being tough, showcasing a strong lamb taste. A well-known reviewer who has almost conquered all lamb restaurants in Sapporo pointed out the quality of the meat here, indicating that this lamb is of very high quality. They provide garlic, coarsely ground chili pepper, salt, and soy salt on the table, allowing you to enjoy it your way. - **Appetizer for 500 yen:** Ambitious Farm's white eggplant, which absorbed the lamb fat, became an incredibly delicious dish. Ezo maitake mushrooms from Atsukawabetsu, with a firm texture and rich aroma. Perfectly ripe "Mellow" potatoes, sweet and smooth. They were grilled to a lovely golden color, enhancing their aroma. The three types of vegetables served as an appetizer are excellent ingredients, and it would be a big mistake to carelessly grill them as mere sides. When you treat each with the right care, they return the favor with outstanding potential.

There are three restaurants, all bearing "Sapporo" in their names. The operating company is one team Holdings, Inc. The white eggplant from Ambitious Farm, Ezo maitake mushrooms from Hokkaido's Akabuchi Town, and perfectly ripe Meikin potatoes were all delicious! The white eggplant absorbed the lamb's fat and was incredibly tasty! We finished the meal beautifully with a soup to wrap things up.
