The lineup of sake and shochu at this restaurant is fantastic. The restaurant is run by a son who has trained in Japanese cuisine and a sushi chef father. The dishes are made with precise techniques and taste delicious. The pickled mackerel was cooked to perfection. The crab vinegar was also well-balanced and went well with the sake. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink in a cozy atmosphere.

It's the last night of my business trip to Hakodate. Finally, I have a night to myself after going out to eat for the past two nights. I consulted with my wallet and body, and decided to go to "Mishina" for my final meal. I wanted to visit this place more often, but due to the new coronavirus, it was impossible since the beginning of the year. Finally, I am able to revisit. I started with beer and some appetizers like thinly sliced stir-fried pork. From the recommended specials, I ordered summer vegetable tempura and Saury fish marinated in sweet miso. The tempura had corn, eggplant, and zucchini in pairs. The corn and tomato went well with salt, while the eggplant and zucchini were delicious with tempura sauce. The Saury fish marinated in sweet miso was also very tasty. I couldn't leave without trying some sake, so I chose "Jikomi Hachitanjin Junmai Ginjo" and "Chuai Daiginjo" from the menu. The Jikomi Hachitanjin was fruity with a slight fizziness, while the Chuai had a more robust flavor. Both were delicious. It was a great dining experience at Mishina in Hakodate. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hakodate.

This is a Japanese restaurant located behind Marui Imai. I have dined here at night before, but this was my first time visiting for lunch. Among the 1000 yen lunch options, the "Mishina Zenzai" set seems to be the most cost-effective. The closest parking lot requires spending over 3000 yen to get free parking (other parking lots around give you a cashback of 100 yen). It's a bit...

I went to "Mishina" on this day. I went alone from the first venue to the second venue, taking the streetcar from Hakodate Station and getting off at Goryokaku Koen-mae. I quickly finished my errand and arrived a little after 5:30 pm. There were no other customers. Last time I came, it was closed for private use, so I couldn't enter. I had used it for lunch before, but this time I wanted to come at night, so I was relieved that it was open this time. I sat at the counter seat and ordered a "draft beer." The draft beer and the appetizer of "burdock with sesame dressing" arrived. The brand of draft beer was Sapporo Classic. I enjoyed the sesame dressing while drinking the draft beer. I looked at the menu and ordered the "half-size mackerel and rolled omelet with dashi broth." The mackerel arrived quickly. The presentation was beautiful. I like mackerel that is lightly cured, and this one was delicious. The rolled omelet (half size) with dashi also arrived a little late. The dashi flavor was strong and it was delicious. While eating and drinking, and talking with the master, I then ordered the recommended "Hakodate flatfish fry (with salad)." The flatfish fry arrived in about 5 minutes. This fry was so delicious! The coating was crispy, and the flatfish was light and fluffy, but the umami of the white flesh spread in my mouth. They must have used fresh flatfish that could also be served as sashimi. I stayed for about an hour, and since no customers came during that time, I was able to have a leisurely chat with the master and the hostess. It was definitely worth going! I will definitely go again!

Mishina-san provides a stable dining experience with a reasonable price, serving flawless dishes and a wide variety of favorite types of sake. Starting with the luxurious appetizer unique to Hakodate, the course includes sashimi, soup, anago yanagawa nabe, roast beef, assorted tempura, nigiri sushi, and yuzu sherbet, totaling 8 dishes. The mouthwatering sake selection includes Hane-ya Junmai Ginjo from Toyama, Ugo no Tsuki Junmai Daiginjo from Hiroshima, and Hitoroki Junmai Daiginjo from Aiyama Fukushima. It was a wonderful assortment of exquisite items. Thank you very much. Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited "Shiki Ryori Mishina" on this day. When I arrived a little after the opening time of 11:30, there was a notice posted in front of the store. I had previously been unable to enter because it was reserved when I went at night, so I was worried that the same thing might happen again. However, the notice stated that they would open at 12:00 today, which relieved my anxiety. I visited exactly at 12:00, but the store was still not open. Opening late at the opening time, this is Hakodate for you. After waiting for about 5 minutes in front of the store, I finally entered. I sat at the counter with the ladies who were also waiting for the opening. The lunch menu was quite extensive, but I decided to order the "Mishina Zen," which is named after the restaurant. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the Mishina Zen arrived. It included 3 types of sashimi, 3 types of tempura, hamburger, burdock with sesame dressing, and a fulfilling lineup. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the sashimi, but it was delicious. The tempura and hamburger were also tasty, and the burdock with sesame dressing was really good. This place seems to excel in Japanese cuisine. In fact, everything here must be delicious. I finished with the dessert, "sherbet," and all of this for only ¥1000! I definitely need to come back at night as well. Hopefully, I won't run into a private reservation next time.

I visited the restaurant 【Mishina】, located between Hakodate Central Hospital and Marui Imai. The interior of the restaurant has an L-shaped counter with a raised seating area, and there are private rooms available for banquets at the back. Unlike many other restaurants that hide their lunch or dinner menus, this restaurant does not hide anything. The lunch set menu is priced at 2,000 yen, while the dinner set is priced at 2,500 yen. Last year, the set menu included chawanmushi. This time, I tried the "hospitality meal" for dinner. It's strange because during lunch, I feel like I'm missing out, but during dinner, I feel like it's worth the price. This restaurant is popular among older customers and I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is run by a family of chefs, with the father being a sushi chef and the son specializing in traditional Japanese cuisine. They have a remarkable selection of around 30 types of local sake at all times. The food is also highly recommended. Today, we organized a year-end and New Year's party that we couldn't do with our business partners. We enjoyed a platter of sashimi, a platter of tempura, and sushi, with various types of sake as accompaniments. The sake I tried were Fuzen no Mori, Jyokigen Kyohei, Yutaka no Sakazuki, and Yoshida Kura. They had rich aromas and paired wonderfully with the food, allowing us to have a blissful time. Thank you very much. It was a feast.

I visited without a reservation before and couldn't get in because it was full, so this time I made a reservation and visited. I had half-size tempura, corn tempura, half-size dashimaki tamago, a little bit of sea urchin, and all of them were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

With this lineup at this price, and the food is also top-notch. I want to give it a 6-star rating.

If you love sake, then this is a must-visit! But I don't want the sake to run out, so I don't really want to tell you about this place, haha!

Marui-san's izakaya located at the back. It seems to be open for lunch as well. Looking at the menu on the table, lunch sets range from 1,000 to 2,000 yen, including sushi and tempura sets. At night, set menus range from 2,000 to 2,500 yen. There are recommended dishes written on the blackboard, as well as classic dishes. The selection of sake is quite good. The tomato sauce on the eggplant seems to go well with pasta. The owner is very friendly and you can feel their hospitality. They even served complimentary appetizers. However, the atmosphere was not good. The smell inside the restaurant and the restroom were not pleasant, and I caught a glimpse of the back tatami room. This area is usually quite forgiving but... If it were ANSWER-san, they would be out immediately.

I had a meal at a sushi restaurant located behind Marui Imai in Honcho, Hakodate, today. I had a delightful conversation with two prominent figures in the Hakodate real estate industry. The sake selection was impressive, and I had the pleasure of trying the Yamanashi sake, "Dan," after a long time. It was light and easy to drink, very delicious. I believe the father is a sushi chef and the son is a Japanese cuisine chef. They work together harmoniously, providing delicious dishes. Next time, I will come back to savor the food slowly without the senior figures. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
