I had work in Rumoi... I borrowed a restroom at Co-op, and then I felt a little hungry so I took a look around the store and stopped by "Levain" bakery. They had a variety of freshly baked bread on display. I bought the "Colorful Vegetable Basil Pizza @148 (excluding tax)" and the "Vienna Sausage Bread." The staff quickly appeared from the kitchen space behind the counter, processed the payment, and handed me the bag. I enjoyed the pizza in the car immediately. The basil and garlic aroma was very nice, and the summer vegetables like bell peppers, paprika, eggplant, and bacon on the soft dough were delicious. I've tried various breads from Levain before, but this might be my favorite. The Vienna Sausage Bread had a mild crispy texture, making it a good snack to satisfy a small hunger. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Bakery shop inside Sapporo Co-op Rumoi store. One of the few places in Rumoi where you can buy freshly baked bread. They have a good variety of bread, but unfortunately they don't have the raisin bread that I wanted. Sometimes they have a discount sale near closing time in the evening.

Refbon is a chain store with locations all over Hokkaido. Despite that, I stopped by the first Refbon I encountered while shopping and feeling a bit hungry. I wanted to eat a curry bread or a piroshki, but they were sold out and wouldn't be ready for a while. The only savory bread available was the shrimp gratin! The bread was soft and fluffy, and the center was sweet. It had macaroni, mayonnaise (I think), white sauce, and one shrimp on top. The picture got a little burnt when I lightly toasted it...haha. The taste was okay, I guess, it's just average for a chain store. I hope to try a freshly baked curry bread next time.
