I visited this restaurant for the second time after it opened last December, and I heard some changes were made to the course in January✨ Just like last time, the course boasts an abundance of sea urchin, which is a dream come true for sea urchin lovers. First up is a new menu item, grilled scallops topped generously with sea urchin. Scallops and sea urchin ❤️ my absolute favorites! This time, there’s also a new addition to the course—a not-sweet sea urchin pudding served with potato vichyssoise, making it a refreshing summer treat☺️ The "uni meat" has evolved since my last visit, becoming even more delicious. The hot pot ingredients include Ise lobster, abalone, clams, A5-grade Wagyu beef, Rindou pork, and seasonal vegetables. The Ise lobster is super plump❤️, the abalone is cut thick, and the clams are incredibly large. I saw on social media that you have a great love for sea urchin, so I visited your restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The food was incredibly delicious! Especially the appetizer with grilled scallops topped with sea urchin and the "uniku" (uni and beef) filled me with happiness. ✨ The only downside was that the variety of dishes was limited, and they were quite heavy, making it a bit challenging to finish them all. We opted for the 8:30 PM second seating, but everything started at once, with dishes being served simultaneously to all tables. The explanations for the dishes were given only after eating, and the plates were quickly cleared away, moving on to the next course. The hot pot was timed with an hourglass, so I understand that the cooking of the seafood needed to be managed, but it felt a bit rushed with a flow that dictated, “eat these vegetables and then this seafood.” I would have liked to savor it a bit more. If you want to enjoy your food and drinks at a leisurely pace, this may not be the best choice, but perhaps it was just on this occasion? Everything else was fantastic, the sea urchin was very tasty, and the restaurant had a clean and elegant decor, making it a good recommendation for anniversaries or dates.

I visited this restaurant called Unan Goro to celebrate my husband’s birthday, expecting to enjoy delicious sea urchin based on its name. We ordered a course meal, starting with beer and then moving on to sake, both of which complemented the dishes well. For dessert, we were presented with a basket full of various ice bars and invited to choose our favorites. It brought back memories, and I opted for the nostalgic chocolate bar. If you want to indulge in sea urchin, I think this place is perfect for special occasions. Considering the current high prices, the cost seemed reasonable for what we experienced.

The main ingredient was sea urchin, and it wasn’t repetitive at all; there was plenty to enjoy. The last course was a generous serving of carbohydrates, and you can choose between large or regular portions, so you can definitely fill your stomach. I was extremely satisfied and truly felt that good ingredients make a difference in taste.

I finally got to visit Morita Unan Goro, a place I've wanted to go for a long time! I absolutely love sea urchin! ♡ I wanted to try the sea urchin hot pot, and the broth was so delicious that they kept refilling it no matter how much I drank—it's an all-you-can-drink deal (laughs). Dissolving the sea urchin into the seafood broth makes such a luxurious base; I want to take it home and make broth rice porridge! Since I love cooking, I’ll definitely try making a sea urchin hot pot too! ♡ Everything else on the menu was amazing as well, perfect with some drinks. The grilled scallops topped with sea urchin wrapped in seaweed made me smile when I had a bite. ♱ The sea urchin and beef (uniku) melted in my mouth! So delicious! ♱ The sea urchin pudding was so good that I could have eaten five more! ♱ The ingredients for the hot pot were extravagant: maybe Ise lobster, abalone, and black Wagyu beef? There were also pig clam, Inka potatoes, turnips, and broccoli—all were incredible! ♱ For the final course, we chose one pasta and one risotto to share since there were two of us, and of course, the pasta was as tasty as I imagined; the risotto was delicious too—I felt like my stomach was going to burst. ♱ For dessert, we had shine muscats, and they even served us ice cream at the end! ♡♡ It cost about ¥11,000 per person, totaling ¥32,200 for two. If I ate this often, I’d probably end up with gout (laughs), but I definitely plan to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

This is a calm and clean restaurant with only a counter, and the atmosphere is great. True to its name, I was able to enjoy plenty of sea urchin until I was full. If you love sea urchin, this is a place you must visit at least once. The combination of sea urchin and scallops is fantastic, and the harmony with meat is also exceptionally good. The hot pot with a broth of sea urchin and shrimp was so delicious that even though I was full, I couldn't resist finishing the pasta and risotto. Everything is packed with sea urchin, making it a paradise for sea urchin lovers (both women and men).

I invited a beautiful woman who knows many delicious restaurants to go out for a meal. Remembering that she loves sea urchin, I quickly made a reservation before my mood changed. The restaurant had only counter seating, and everything—cleanliness, space, and atmosphere—was perfect for a comfortable dining experience. From the start, the dishes were filled with sea urchin. The hot pot had a broth made from dissolved sea urchin, along with abalone and clams. I think I probably ate more sea urchin than is typical for an average person. The cost of the ingredients seemed to be quite high as well. The smart and charming woman I went with also said the food was delicious, which made me happy!

I had a course that cost about 10,000 yen, which was filled with plenty of sea urchin. Both the special dishes and the hot pot were delicious, and at the end, I could choose the amount of risotto and pasta, opting for the large servings for both. They even topped the final dish with more sea urchin. To be honest, I was worried that such delicious sea urchin would be hard to find for around 10,000 yen, but I was very satisfied.

At first, I thought I might not be full by the end of the course, but since I had both pasta and rice porridge as the final dishes, I ended up quite full. Personally, I really enjoyed the sea urchin hot pot and the dish with raw beef, egg, and sea urchin. However, we started only after everyone had arrived, and since all the dishes were served at once, the focus was more on enjoying the food rather than on chatting much. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful.

The sea urchin pudding was rich and delicious. But what stood out the most was definitely the broth for the hot pot; it was incredibly tasty! You can enjoy both seafood and meat. I visited Morita Uni Goro, a place that is irresistible for sea urchin lovers. The location is a bit inconvenient, but I took a taxi due to the heat. There are two seating times: one at 6:00 PM and another at 8:30 PM. There's a charming noren (fabric curtain) at the entrance, and the young owner, Mr. Deguchi, welcomed us. The interior is modern, featuring wooden decor, and it has only 8 seats. We started with sea urchin! Grilled scallops topped with sea urchin, wrapped in nori, were delicious with their freshness, sweetness of the sea urchin, and the crispiness of the nori. Next was A5-ranked Wagyu beef, mixed with egg yolk and a generous portion of sea urchin. The combination was rich and decadent, with wasabi providing a nice accent. For dessert, there was a unique non-sweet pudding topped with Hokkaido's purple sea urchin, seasoned with a refined truffle and soy sauce blend. The inside contained onion and soy milk, and the gentle sweetness of the onion was comforting. Then, the hot pot broth was served, made with vegetables and seafood, flavored with Saikyo miso. And then came the star of the show: live lobster, large clams, abalone, broccoli, turnips, potatoes, peas, and carrots. We enjoyed the rich broth immensely. Next up was the meat—Kagoshima Wagyu and Kumamoto pork belly, enhanced by the fresh taste of mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley). The broth's flavor changed pleasantly with the addition of the meat. For the finale, we had the option to choose between sea urchin risotto and pasta, so we ordered both. The pasta was rich with the thickened broth, topped with powdered cheese, sea urchin, and black pepper. The risotto soaked up all the broth and was made luxurious with lotus root and butter, finished with black pepper. And of course, we didn’t forget the sea urchin, starting and ending our meal with it. Dessert was Shine Muscat grapes, accompanied by a scoop of ice cream. This restaurant is a dream for sea urchin lovers. If I had to point out something, it would be that the drinking edge of the broth bowl was a bit thick and hard to drink from, possibly due to the heat. I found this place on social media and booked a reservation right away. All the courses included sea urchin, making it very luxurious. The value for this price is outstanding; it's no wonder it's popular. The atmosphere created by the staff in the restaurant was also excellent, so I’m definitely coming back.
