Hello! This is Ramen Walking. Today, I visited a ramen shop called Chukasoba Cocokarasakie in Shin-Osaka and tried their "Maru Tori Special" ramen. This shop was recommended as a top contender in the Best Ramen Shop contest, and I was able to use a premium discount this month, so I decided to check it out. I arrived at 6:40 PM and there was no wait. I ordered the Maru Tori Special for 1,100 yen.
The soup was rich in chicken flavor with a soy sauce base that complemented it well. The slightly cloudy soup had a hint of acidity and the chicken oil on the surface added a nice flavor. The balance of flavors was just right. The noodles were flat and straight, with a good elasticity and bounce when slurped. They were soft yet firm, with a pleasant texture.
The toppings included chashu pork, seasoned egg, wonton, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The chashu pork was thinly sliced and tender, making it easy to eat and delicious. The wonton had a generous filling and a chewy skin that soaked up the soup well. I finished every last bit. The soup really suited my taste. Thank you, Chukasoba Cocokarasakie, for the delicious meal!

It is a ticket system. I came here for the oil soba, but it was double the normal price for ramen made with chicken, so I tried the Maru Chicken Shoyu (1000 yen). I could really taste the flavor of the chicken. It was nice to have 3 slices of chashu without any extra toppings. Next time, I definitely want to try the oil soba.

Last Friday's lunch was at "Chukasoba Cocokarasakie" as well, just like last week. September 22, 2023, Friday. They announced the comeback of their "Abura Soba" on the restaurant's social media, so I decided to visit "Chukasoba Cocokarasakie". I arrived at 11:50, purchased my meal ticket, and was the 10th person waiting outside. I entered the restaurant at 12:08, and was seated. The Abura Soba arrived at 12:13. I ordered the Chashu Onsen Tamago Abura Soba for 1350 yen, added kujo negi for 150 yen, totaling 1500 yen. The newly revived Abura Soba had a completely different sauce flavor. The noodles seemed to be the same Groove noodles they used before. The unique junky taste that Cocokarasakie is known for was still there, and it was delicious as always. Adding mayonnaise halfway through made it even more addictive, it was dangerously good. Thank you for the meal! Also, I was happy to see a menu option at the ticket machine that included both chashu and onsen tamago together. #ChukasobaCocokarasakie #Cocokarasakie #Shin-Osaka #Mikuni

I ordered the special soy sauce chicken for 1300 yen and a bottle of beer for 500 yen. I was able to get in easily on the night of the three-day weekend. When you order a bottle of beer, you get a side of menma. The noodles are on the chewy side and thin. The soup is light and the balance of flavors is achieved by eating it with the chashu and water dumplings. I didn't particularly like just the noodles and soup. I won't be coming back. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a month since I last visited "Chukasoba Cocokarasakige" on Friday, September 15, 2023. For my last lunch on a weekday, I went to "Chukasoba Cocokarasakige". They offered free extra noodles to celebrate the Tigers' victory. I arrived just before opening at 11:29 and was the fourth in line. I bought my meal ticket and entered the restaurant when they opened at 11:30. I ordered the Fish Sauce Shoyu Ramen with Chashu for 1350 yen, added extra green onions for 150 yen, and got the noodles upsized for free thanks to the Tigers' victory. The total was 1500 yen. Today, I decided to go for the 100% Olive Iriko fish sauce. It had a subtle bitterness and was full of umami with a nice accent of Iriko flavor. The Iriko broth was amazingly delicious. I also indulged in extra Chashu, making it a luxurious meal. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you for the meal. #ChukasobaCocokarasakige #Cocokarasakige #Shin-Osaka #Mikuni

Recently, I visited the skilled ramen shop "中華そばココカラサキゑ" near Shin-Osaka Station. I ordered the "Maru Tori Shoyu" ramen, which features a rich and thick broth made with high-quality ingredients like 麺助鶏 and 比内地鶏. The soup is beautifully flavored with a savory soy sauce base, and the smooth straight noodles complement it perfectly. This bowl allows you to fully appreciate the intense flavor of the chicken. I highly recommend trying it out if you have the chance! #ramen #noodles #OsakaRamen #RamenInstagrammer #ココカラサキゑ

I ordered the special seafood ramen because the limited edition was sold out. The soup had a strong fishy smell and I couldn't drink much of it. The soy sauce ramen, on the other hand, had a rich flavor and was delicious. I don't recommend the seafood ramen, but I hope they have a limited edition available next time!

Head to Chukasoba Cocokarasaki in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka. Thank you for always serving delicious ramen. The hot days continue, so the summer cold menu is a welcomed addition. Today's cold ramen features both chicken and Hinai-jidori chicken. I'll have soy sauce for the flavor. Toppings include thick menma bamboo shoots, Kujo green onions, seaweed, and a rare chashu pork that is rolled in three layers. The soup is rich and smooth with no sharp edges, spreading deeply and widely. The slightly thick cold soup is incredibly rich in chicken flavor. The soy sauce base is crisp with a gentle richness. The medium-thick straight noodles are glossy and smooth, with excellent texture. The noodles and soup complement each other perfectly. The chashu pork is flavorful and blends well with the soup. The moist thick menma and Kujo green onions add accents. This cold ramen intensifies the flavors, leaving a wonderful aftertaste. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Thursday's lunch was at "Chukasoba Cocokarasakie" on August 17, 2023. After the Obon holiday, I arrived at the restaurant at 11:31 and purchased my meal ticket. There were empty seats available, so I sat down. My ramen arrived at 11:42, and I finished and left by 11:53. I ordered the Maru Tori Shoyu Ajitama for 1150 yen, added Kyujyo Negi for 150 yen, and upgraded to large noodles for an additional 150 yen, making the total 1450 yen. Despite the heat, I was in the mood for the Maru Tori (chicken) flavor, which includes chicken soup made from chicken legs and Hinai-jidori chicken. Since their noodle renewal last month, I had been craving it again. Today, I was comforted by the mild soup. The large portion of thin noodles was very satisfying and filling. The mountain of Kyujyo Negi was fantastic. I've heard that the noodle quantity for thin noodles hasn't changed, but because it's so voluminous, next time I might go for a regular portion and add extra chashu! Thank you for the delicious meal. #ChukasobaCocokarasakie #Cocokarasakie #Shin-Osaka #Mikuni

The chilled salt lemon flavored ramen with minced chicken and Hichinai chicken topping, along with the chashu rice bowl. The chilled ramen was easy to eat up quickly. The lemon oil had a slight bitterness from the peel that bothered me a bit. It might be intentional, but personally, it was a drawback for me. I was expecting a refreshing taste like sudachi udon, so this time it's a 3 out of 5. Next time, I want to try a warm menu item.

10 minutes before opening on Sunday, 5 people had already signed up. By the time the shop opened, there were more than 10 people waiting in line. By the time I left the shop, there were at least 5 people waiting outside. I ordered the special salt ramen for ¥1300. Today's special was the double Hinai-jidori chicken and Men-suke chicken SPX. Additionally, there was a limited edition squid and dried fish (cold) dish available, which was served first. I visited for the double Hinai-jidori chicken soup, but the chicken flavor was not very strong and it was hard to tell if it was chicken. The aroma was initially dominated by chicken oil, but then it all blended together. However, the soup became more and more delicious as I continued to eat it. The soup was gentle and seemed to be made with consideration for the ramen as a whole, not just the chicken. The noodles were from Taito, with a smooth and supple texture, flat and thin, likely with a high water content. It was a trend of clear soup. The noodles were quite delicious and had a good texture. The toppings included pork shoulder x2, green onions, bamboo shoots, seasoned egg, and wonton. The pork shoulder was thinly sliced and had a rich umami and fat flavor that spread with each bite, very delicious. The seasoned egg was half-cooked with a runny yolk, smooth and tasty. The overall ramen was gentle, with each component working together harmoniously. The presentation was also beautiful and elegant.

Friday's lunch was at "Chuka Soba Cocokarasakige" on August 4, 2023. I saw the morning announcement on SNS and decided to try their limited edition cold ramen. I arrived at 11:40 and purchased my meal ticket. I was fifth in line outside. I entered the restaurant at 11:51 and was seated. My ramen arrived at 12:04. I ordered the limited edition cold ramen with chicken and Hichinai chicken, a seasoned egg, and extra noodles. The total cost was 1400 yen. The soup had a thick and flavorful broth, with a combination of chicken and onions as recommended by my friend Yuri. The cold noodles were medium thickness and satisfying to eat. It was a great way to cool down on a hot day. Thank you for the meal. #ChukaSobaCocokarasakige #Cocokarasakige #Shin-Osaka #Mikuni

At Cocokara Sake, the Men Tasuke Tori (chicken broth) and Hichinai Jidori (local chicken) cold soy sauce ramen with seasoned egg is a flavor bomb. The gel-like soup, fresh noodles, and toppings all come together perfectly. It has a hint of Chinese ramen with the addition of seaweed. The taste evolves from the first bite to the last, always delicious. It's easy to eat with no overpowering flavors, and I finished it all in one go.

Marinated chicken flavor ramen for 1150 yen, located 4 minutes walk from Hinata no Yu. After taking a bite, I thought "This is delicious..." just like when a Chimera Ant ate a human for the first time. Definitely going back for more. The noodles, soup, and toppings were all delicious. The noodles were thin and straight, similar to cold noodles. The soup had a rich flavor, almost like chicken oil but with a buttery taste (maybe there's butter in it?). The menma was thick, the green onions were crunchy, the chashu was thinly sliced and tender, and the marinated egg was perfectly runny. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it, a flavor that I absolutely love.

Ordered the fish ramen. The soup was incredibly delicious. I prefer thick noodles, but these were thin and soft. The rare chashu was tasty. The flavored egg had a unique texture. The bamboo shoots were delicious. Overall, it was good. Will definitely come back.

I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened during the day. There was a sign next to the ticket machine saying "Noodles have changed". I was seated at the counter and the place was almost full even though it was only 5 minutes after opening. It took 20 minutes for the ramen to be served. The shoyu ramen looked a bit oily and the soup tasted a bit light, lacking in chicken flavor. The noodles were thin and straight, and the toppings included three large slices of chashu and menma. I had high expectations for this popular restaurant, but it didn't quite meet them.

This is my first post on Tabelog, but it's actually my third time here. It's always crowded, isn't it? It's been a while! I ordered the "Maru Chicken Shoyu" ramen. The chicken-based soup is delicious, and the straight noodles have a nice firm texture. It's been a while since I've had this type of ramen, but the soup is really tasty. While this style of ramen became popular nationwide after a boom in the Kanto region, it didn't seem to catch on as much in Kansai. However, the shops that have been working on it consistently have definitely maintained a high level of quality.

On the first day of the new noodles at "Chuka soba Kokokarasakie" on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, I was looking forward to it. I arrived at 11:57, purchased a food ticket, and was fifth in line outside. I entered at 12:02, sat down, and my ramen arrived at 12:11. I left at 12:22. I had the Marugyo Shoyu Ajitama for 1150 yen, Kujo Negi for 150 yen, and extra noodles for 150 yen, totaling 1450 yen. The straight thin noodles have changed the atmosphere significantly. The water content is just right, giving a smooth, slippery texture reminiscent of fresh noodles. I really liked it. While both the soup and noodles have been renewed, the distinctive taste of Kokosaki-san is still present. It seems to be evolving further, and I look forward to more in the future. Thank you for the meal. I also want to try the cold noodles again soon. #ChukaSobaKokokarasakie #Kokokarasakie #Shin-Osaka #Mikuni

Visited Chuka Soba Kokokarasakige (Sangoku) for the first time! This was the third stop on my Kansai expedition! On this scorching hot day, I could only think of having cold noodles, so I decided to try the limited edition. I also ordered a bottle of beer. The restaurant is located near Kita-Osaka Hospital, which I walked to from Hankyu Takarazuka Line Sangoku Station. The heat was unbearable on this day. I arrived at the restaurant at 13:41 and bought my meal ticket from the ticket machine before lining up. There were about 10 people ahead of me. I waited under the shade of a tree in front of the store due to the scorching heat. I ordered the limited edition Olive Iriko Cold Noodles (Salt) for 1,100 yen, with an additional seasoned boiled egg for 150 yen, and a bottle of Asahi beer for 500 yen. The heat made me only think of having cold noodles, so I chose the salt flavor. The staff recommended it to me. I entered the restaurant at 14:12 and immediately ordered a small bottle of Asahi beer, which came with a generous serving of thick menma. Even though I started sweating as soon as I left, it was worth it. The cold noodles were delicious, with flat and smooth noodles. The large portion might be too much if you plan on eating more later. I finished my meal and left the restaurant at 14:31. It took me 40 minutes in total. I look forward to trying the Deho noodles next time, with extra green onions, char siu, and a larger portion of noodles. Thank you for the meal.
