I ordered two servings of samgyeopsal. The staff, who are quite diverse, cooked the meat carefully for us. I'm satisfied with the large amount of meat, but the dipping sauce was a bit lacking, and the quality of the meat wasn't particularly high. However, I would say it was at least acceptable overall.

Korean cuisine, Sun-chan. For lunch, I had sundubu jjigae. It was 900 yen and the ingredients included tofu and clams. The spiciness was just right, and the seafood broth was delicious. Personally, I thought the soup was good, but I would have liked a bit more variety in the ingredients.

Near Hatchobori Station, a new Korean restaurant called "Shun-chan" opened in March. I wondered why it's called Shun-chan when it's a Korean place, but I was drawn in by the sign that read "Fresh Samgyeopsal."
I ordered the Fresh Samgyeopsal (2 servings) for 4,378 yen. It arrived on a stone-like plate piled high with meat and kimchi. The plate has a slope to it, which is quite interesting and seems typical of authentic setups. We grilled the meat until it was crisp as the fat dripped away. By the way, the owner takes care of the grilling and cutting for us.
We also tried the Chijimi, which was substantial, delicious, and had a great texture. The cold noodles had a nice firmness to them, with a seasoning that felt authentic. Even my wife, who isn’t a fan of cold noodles, found them tasty and enjoyed it.
The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming for families with children, making it a comfortable place to dine. The prices are on the higher side, but lunch seems like a good deal. As of today, I would rate it 3.09.

I had samgyeopsal, seafood chijimi, chogae salad, and sundubu. Everything was really delicious. The sundubu was especially amazing, with a rich flavor balanced by spice... I could easily become addicted to it. The staff were also very polite, making it a comfortable place to eat.

I was unable to make a reservation online that day, so I called to inquire and was able to secure a table. The staff cooked the samgyeopsal for us. I forgot to take pictures, but we enjoyed the chanja, sundubu jjigae, and chive pancakes, all of which were delicious. The staff member was a foreigner, but had no issues speaking Japanese, and it was a great restaurant. I will definitely come back when I want to eat samgyeopsal.

I stopped by after work. I was alone, but it felt welcoming and the staff were friendly. Since I usually eat a lot, I ordered the raw samgyeopsal, which you can only order starting from two servings, and I was able to finish it without any problem. The meat was tender and delicious.

On a slightly chilly day, I wanted a warm lunch and decided to try Korean cuisine at Jun-chan. The most popular lunch option is the sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) for 980 yen, but on this day they were offering it as a special lunch for 900 yen. What a lucky find!
I started with some seasoned bean sprouts, chilled tofu, and kimchi made from diced radish. The sauce on the tofu was mildly sweet. The stew had just the right amount of spiciness and was quite garlicky. In addition to the soft tofu, it contained onions, mushrooms, and clams. I broke a light sweat from the warmth, and I felt my stomach perk up. I definitely felt warmed up. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I thought it was delicious! They make thick pork chops about 1.5 cm thick and cook them until they're crispy. They prepare the food so it's ready to eat, which saves us the trouble, and it was quite good overall. I don't think the price was too high either. I forgot to take a photo, but the seafood green onion pancakes were really authentic. I highly recommend you try them; they're a must-try!

I visit Korean restaurants almost every week, and I found the dishes here, like the fresh samgyeopsal, chijimi, and mul naengmyeon made with non-frozen meat, to be both cost-effective and delicious. However, my impression of Korean restaurants is that when you visit, you typically receive about 5 to 8 side dishes before the main course arrives, which you can enjoy with drinks. But here, we only got a small plate of stir-fried bean sprouts to share between two people. Also, when I asked various questions, there was no staff who spoke Japanese, so it might be a good place to visit with someone who can speak Korean.

It's a samgyeopsal specialty restaurant. The staff cooked the meat very carefully, and it tasted amazing. I ordered a fresh lemon sour to go with the samgyeopsal, and it was also really delicious. There aren't many places where you can eat authentic Korean cuisine, so I want to go again.

I've been craving samgyeopsal (Korean grilled pork belly) for days, and I stumbled upon this restaurant. The interior was beautiful, and I was greeted by cheerful Korean staff. I promptly ordered two servings of samgyeopsal, and while looking at the menu and the sign, I noticed it was labeled as "raw samgyeopsal," but they cooked it thoroughly for me, so I couldn’t tell what was raw about it, haha. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was bustling and almost full, with every table ordering samgyeopsal. The staff efficiently cooked it for everyone, which I thought was impressive! I’m looking forward to coming back to enjoy some drinks next time.

A little while ago, in April, my family and I happened to stop by this newly opened restaurant. It seemed to have just opened, as the place was empty and adorned with many congratulatory flower arrangements. It appears that this location moved from Asakusabashi. We ordered samgyeopsal, sundubu jjigae, japchae, seafood chijimi, Korean ramen, and seaweed soup. The samgyeopsal features a uniquely angled grill that allows the oil to drain away, making it healthier! We enjoyed it with sesame oil and salt for dipping. We could also request a BBQ sauce for the kids. While the staff arranged the meat for grilling, they also fried the kimchi with the pork, so I had to be careful that the kids' portions didn't include any. It might be a good idea to ask them to keep the kimchi separate and not cook it together. The samgyeopsal was juicy and delicious! The chijimi had a crispy batter and was packed with ingredients, so I would definitely recommend it. The sundubu jjigae was properly spicy (especially compared to chain restaurants) and tasty. However, one of my companions who isn’t good with spicy food found it a bit too hot (though they ended up eating it anyway). The kids loved the samgyeopsal, chijimi, and seaweed soup, and they ate heartily with rice. We might have over-ordered a bit, but the cost-performance was great, and I want to visit again. Next time, I’d like to try the samgyetang!

You must try the pork belly set, enjoy the yam kimchi, and drink the fresh makgeolli. The service is very attentive (by a Nepalese staff member).
