I went to "Taishū Yakiniku Sakaba Maun Tanimachi" which is less than a minute's walk from Tanimachi 4-chome Station. I learned that this restaurant just opened in December and has a sister store in Shin-Fukae. After looking it up, I found that the main store offers high-quality meat rather than typical casual yakiniku, while this Tanimachi location focuses on a more casual concept.
The interior reflects this casual theme, with a cozy counter area and two tables in the back, creating a quaint, personal atmosphere. Since it is a casual yakiniku place, smoking is allowed inside. I ordered A5-grade female wagyu barbecue beef, including kalbi (ribs) and rosu (loin), for only 748 yen including tax. Wait, isn’t that incredibly cheap? The quality is immediately apparent from the texture before grilling and the rich flavor of the fat that hits your palate right away.
I also ordered other cuts like harami (skirt steak) and shio-tan (salted tongue) on repeat. The garlic butter comes with whole pieces of garlic, making it perfect for grilling and seasoning with salt—it's an excellent dish on its own. Everything I tried exceeded my expectations in quality while remaining budget-friendly, making for a highly satisfying experience.
The drinks are also reasonably priced, with a 400ml draft beer costing just 390 yen, and the Tokyo Highball offers a shiso flavor that those who enjoy it will find highly addictive. Overall, this place looks like it could provide endless enjoyment, and I definitely want to come back! Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since my last visit, but I’ve always wanted to come back to this restaurant. It's conveniently located along Tanimachi Street, just a short walk from Tanimachi 4-chome Station. The interior mainly features a counter with enough seating for over 10 people. There are also table seats in the back, accommodating larger groups. This restaurant has its main branch in Shin-Fukae, which I've personally ranked as one of the top BBQ spots, and this location offers barbecue at a great low price. The cost-performance is fantastic, and I always leave fully satisfied!
This time, I ordered Tsunami, Iberico Pork Tongue, Heart, and Senmai for the grilling, along with authentic cold noodles and Yukkejang soup to finish. Tsunami and Tongue were listed on the blackboard menu and were incredibly affordable, while the quality and quantity exceeded my expectations! The Pork Tongue was beautifully marbled, rich in flavor, but had no unpleasant odor—it was absolutely delicious! The Heart is served raw and can be grilled; I recommend having it rare with salt for the best flavor.
Everything was just really cheap and tasty! The highlight was the "Yukkejang Soup," which is quite hearty and filled with generous chunks of tender, simmered beef short ribs. For the price, you could easily enjoy a fulfilling dinner with just this soup and a bowl of rice for under 1000 yen—how great is that? *Note: Don’t try this at home, kids!*
The Korean cold noodles were predictably delicious, with a deep flavor that lingers nicely. The owner has a bright personality, which really boosts the overall satisfaction of the experience. Enjoying BBQ from lunchtime is the best! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the great meal!

I visited a restaurant that's open on Sundays. I made a reservation using some Tabelog points. There were only about two seats available that weren't reserved. I ordered a piece of grilled beef sushi for 390 yen, along with tsurami (a type of beef), salt-grilled liver, thick-cut tongue, fresh heart sashimi, and yam kimchi. The staff recommended the dishes on the whiteboard, so I also added Kagoshima’s premium kalbi and ichibo. The kalbi and ichibo were packed with marbling and incredibly delicious. Finally, I ordered the yukgaejang soup with extra spiciness. It was quite spicy and soothing on a cold night. When I visited a few months ago, the menu had pictures added.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. This time, I went to Osaka for business and was looking for a place to enjoy yakiniku (grilled meat) alone, and I stumbled upon this spot. They have both counter and table seating, and there were also solo diners, making it very easy to enter. The meat was not only delicious but also very affordable, providing the best cost performance! The do-teyaki (beef tendon stew) and kimchi were also excellent. I definitely want to stop by again the next time I'm in Osaka.

I've been curious about the yakiniku restaurant in my neighborhood! I prefer casual, homey places over fancy ones, and this place had the vibe I like. The meat was delicious overall, and I think the prices are pretty reasonable! It's great to have a place like this nearby. I forgot to take photos, but the oxtail soup was also delicious!

The atmosphere is like a traditional yakiniku restaurant, but it has a fresh and clean feel, which is great! The thick-cut salt-grilled tongue is substantial and tender, and really fresh! Every piece of meat I tried was delicious. The staff worked efficiently, and without me even having to say anything, they exchanged the grill for me during my meal. The cost performance is excellent, and I would love to visit this restaurant again.

There’s a new yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant on Tanimachi Street. Since I used to work part-time at a yakiniku restaurant during my student days, I have a bit of a passion for it. The restaurant has an L-shaped counter and a couple of four-person tables at the back. I ordered thick-cut beef tongue (968 yen), salt skirt steak (748 yen), a blissful tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg, 495 yen), and egg soup (330 yen). I prefer yakiniku with salt, so I tend to like places that serve delicious salt dishes. Both the skirt steak and thick-cut tongue had great meat flavor, not too rich, and they were really good quality! I was able to fill up on non-alcoholic drinks and spent less than 3,000 yen, which left me with a good impression regarding cost-performance. The ambiance was nice too, so I’d definitely like to come back!

In this tenant space that sees a lot of turnover, a great restaurant has finally opened! It's truly surprising in a good way. The cost performance is excellent! The owner is attentive, and the foreign staff are incredibly efficient, making for a pleasant experience. The marinated kalbi, tongue, and sukiyaki are all outstanding in both taste and price. I will definitely be back!

I searched for nice restaurants near my hotel in Temmabashi. The place mainly has counter seating, but there’s a good amount of space between the counters. It has a casual, lively atmosphere reminiscent of a typical yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant, but it seems quite clean, possibly only being open for about a year. I ordered the salt-grilled liver, koune (the fatty part of the brisket), sashimi of raw heart, harami steak, thick-sliced premium tongue, and salt-grilled agoo (jaw) all at reasonable prices. The salt-grilled agoo was something I tried for the first time, and for around 380 yen, there were six pieces, which had an incredible texture. The harami steak and thick-sliced premium tongue were also really thick, giving me a satisfying meat experience. After returning home, I realized they forgot to serve the aburi yukke (seared raw beef) I ordered first, but it wasn’t listed on my receipt either.

A while ago, I visited a yakiniku restaurant located two doors down from Hormone Gyuzou. I believe this restaurant opened around the same time. Here’s what I ordered:
- Thick-cut superior tongue (salt)
- Ultimate brisket (koune)
- Beef ribs
- Beef red loin
- Rice
- Kimchi platter
- Grilled sliced superior loin (2 pieces)
- Wagyu superior tsurami
- Superior loin
Not only can you order from the menu, but the meat displayed in the showcase in front of the counter is also available for selection, which is great. The store manager (a man) was very kind, explaining details about the meat and checking in on us.
The superior tongue had beautiful marbling. Since thick-cut was recommended, I went for that option. It was tender and had a nice fat content, making it delicious. I compared the brisket, superior loin, and large grilled shabu. Both had ample fat, making it hard to choose a favorite. After ordering the beef loin and beef ribs, I realized they also had superior loin and superior ribs. Those would’ve been more to my liking since they had more marbling, so I regretted not ordering those from the start (ˆ꒳ˆ;).
There were quite a few people dining alone, making it a great place for solo yakiniku.

I stopped by the restaurant on a whim! The owner was friendly and kind! I went with a group, and it seemed like everyone recommended the thick-cut tongue, sirloin steak, and mixed offal platter! They had a variety of highballs, and I was delighted that the makkoli came in a kettle!

I had pretty good meat, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. The heart sashimi was really delicious! I wish I had tried the yukhoe too, as everyone seems to rave about it in reviews. The rib was meaty, thick, and tasty. There were some fibers that stuck in my mouth, but the wild flavor of the meat filled me with the feeling of "Ah! I'm eating beef!" Regarding the portion sizes, I noticed that for the first round, there were 5 pieces, and for the second, there were 6. Is that a service? I haven’t ordered a third round, so I’m not sure. The raw beef tripe had the highest amount of sauce I've ever seen, which was funny! It’s better to have too much than too little! Freshness was top-notch. There was some inconsistency in the drink strength. The staff was attentive, asking about refills and changing the grill, making the atmosphere comfortable. They even had covers to prevent smells from sticking to my jacket. It felt more like a place to casually drop in for a quick bite of meat rather than a fancy treat that you’d reserve in advance.

After eating ramen nearby, I stopped by here, so I was already full and couldn't eat much, but I was lured in by the smell as I passed by ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ ). I definitely got the order of the restaurants wrong… (laughs) It was delicious!! Thank you for the mealヾ(๑╹◡╹)ノ" This is a past post.

I made a reservation for 6 PM on Wednesday, and I was able to get in right away, but it soon became full. I ordered a platter, and I thought everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the access from the station was good, so I would like to go back again. There were covers at the coat hanging area, which was great because it prevented smells from sticking to my clothes.

On a Friday night after a long workday in Osaka, feeling hungry and thirsty, I stumbled upon a place called "Moun" while exploring near my hotel. The owner was very friendly, and there were many regular customers visiting. It felt like a welcoming spot, even for solo diners. The combination of affordable prices and great taste makes it a place I'd want to revisit. Everything was very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a new yakiniku restaurant that opened in the谷四 area at the end of last year. The first thing that struck me was how delicious all the meat was! I was especially impressed by the yukhoe, wondering how it could be so tasty at this price. (On my next visit, it was sold out.) Every cut of meat was delicious, and compared to other yakiniku places in the area, the prices were quite reasonable, so I highly recommend it. The restaurant has more counter seats, but there are also tables in the back, making it suitable for families with children.

I had a great seat, so I enjoyed watching the chef skillfully prepare the meat—it was impressive. I savored thickly sliced beef tongue, premium loin, a mountain of grilled meats, marinated short ribs, black skirt steak, seared yukhoe, five-second cooked beef tongue, and grilled heart sashimi. Everything was incredibly delicious.

It's not the cheapest place around, but it's reasonably priced, and the satisfaction you get after eating is absolutely incredible. A restaurant like this just opened up right above Tanimachi 4-chome Station, and there's absolutely no reason not to go! So, on a Wednesday night during the week, just like usual, I find myself drawn into the restaurant with the enticing words "half-price drinks"!
Once inside, I was surprised by how delicious the meat was. They had a lineup of names that any barbecue enthusiast would love. You might wonder what's so great about it? Let me tell you. First up, be careful not to overcook the "Salt Liver." Even though they warned me not to eat it raw, the beautifully colored salt liver almost tempted me to break the rules. Just lightly searing it is perfect—it's incredibly delicious! ⭐︎
Next was the thick-cut beef tongue. The beautiful marbling made me super excited! It was processed so well that while it had a nice bite, it was also tender. Eating it naturally brought a smile to my face with its incredible flavor! ⭐︎
Then came the marinated short ribs, which seemed like a standard option. They were so flavorful, soaked in delicious sauce; I even ordered rice to go with them! ⭐︎
The garlic negi salt tongue was perfect as a beer snack. The thin slices of tongue, combined with garlic, had an overwhelming impact—you simply have to order this! ⭐︎
I ordered the Ago salt (the lower part of the tongue), thinking it would be chewy, but was pleasantly surprised by its tenderness—truly a delightful experience. It's so delicious that if you're short on cash, this should be your go-to option! (laughs)
This place was just right for solo BBQ dining. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

I visited on the opening day and was the first customer. The restaurant was lively, exactly the atmosphere I love in a yakiniku place. I ordered thick-cut premium tongue for 968 yen, premium sirloin for 990 yen, bean sprouts for 330 yen, and wagyu seared yukhoe for 825 yen. I also had 2 draft beers for 390 yen each (opening price) and 1 highball for 190 yen (opening price). The total amount was 3,760 yen. The volume and marbling of the premium sirloin were particularly good. Thank you! This is a place I’d love to stop by after work. It was delicious!

After reading other people's reviews, I decided to visit again this time and ordered more sashimi dishes. They were indeed delicious. I tried the assorted platter called "Mauun Moriawase" for the first time, and the portion was incredible! The freshness and seasoning were both excellent, making it a great value menu item. The quantity was so large that I couldn't order any other dishes… haha. 400g is impressive. The tail soup was also delicious. I saw them heating it up in the microwave, but the meat was piled high and so tender—absolutely delicious. I also noticed they had a small glass of makgeolli and ordered it for 180 yen. I had draft beer with the meat, but the makgeolli was perfect as a dessert. The portion was similar to a small yogurt, making it very easy to order. I hope this becomes popular in the grilled meat industry!
