Hmm... I may have had too high expectations... I was hoping for a high-end and meticulous work, but unfortunately, the actual experience left me feeling disappointed and it also seemed overpriced. Is it possible that their true worth is not reflected in their lunch menu? If that's the case, I wouldn't be inclined to visit for dinner either. Compared to other nearby sushi restaurants like Kiyosushi and Tazumisushi, it felt somewhat lacking. The atmosphere at the counter and the tables behind it was slightly dim, and there was occasional cigarette smoke during the wait and while eating. Sitting at the counter, it was not a pleasant experience to have the smoke bother me during lunch. The taste of the miso soup was subtle and elegant, the sushi rice had a faint sweetness, the sushi itself was well-made with good balance, and the quality of the fish was quite good. However, the finishing touches seemed sloppy, and for a lunch sushi priced at 600-700 yen, it was not up to par. I ordered the Nigiri Sushi Lunch Set for 950 yen, which included salmon, white fish, scallop, sweet shrimp, tuna, flying fish roe, and fresh seaweed roll with egg omelette and miso soup on the side. A positive point is that the lunch menu is available even on weekends and holidays from 11:00 to 15:00. The nigiri sushi was small and easy to eat, suitable for those with small appetites. The flying fish roe was starting to peel off the seaweed, which was a bit disappointing. The seaweed on the roll was too soft, making it a bit disheartening. The arrangement of the roll was messy, with scallop and tuna twisted on top of the rice. I went around 1:30 pm, and the lunch crowd had mostly settled down, so perhaps the chefs were preparing for lunch. I did not appreciate the sound of the older chef chewing. The service was friendly, but there were many aspects that bothered me. It may be due to timing, but I felt a lack of attention to detail for a longstanding restaurant. Perhaps it caters more to group gatherings or regular customers. ☆☆☆Preview☆☆☆ Unfortunately, I have no plans to revisit at this time.
