A new restaurant, Noda-Niku, has opened in the Edion Garden Chihaya area of Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. On the night of its opening weekend, there was a line, but I was able to get in without waiting, as it gradually filled up to about half capacity. Compared to other Noda-Niku locations, this one has more seating, making it easier to visit. Inside, there are counter seats surrounding the kitchen, as well as two semi-private tables for four and four tables for two. There are cushions on the seats, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff were polite and had a good attitude. The ordering process is done via mobile order, and the food took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the special Wagyu hamburger for 1,400 yen, which came with side fries and broccoli. When I poured the sauce on top, even though the meat didn't ooze juices when broken apart, that made it even better—very meaty and satisfying! The cooking was done quite thoroughly, and you could tell right away how good and substantial the meat was. At this price, it’s a real bargain and reasonably priced with high quality! I also tried the evening Noda-Niku BBQ rice bowl, which was 1,100 yen. It was generously topped with selected beef, and at this price, it’s honestly an incredible deal. The rice is from Fukuoka, called Genki Tsukushi. The sauce had no unpleasant sweetness and paired well with the meat. One bite, and you could tell that this BBQ rice bowl was on another level—so delicious! I can’t emphasize enough, this is way too cheap! A soft drink bar is available for an additional 300 yen, but instead of a self-serve option, you have to ask the staff every time, which is a bit annoying. However, the prices are generally reasonable, making this place a good option for regular visits, almost like a casual diner. I confidently recommend this restaurant!

I went for lunch and ordered the famous Nodanik three-meat platter. It was satisfying with grilled meat, ichibo, and lean beef. I felt that the amount of rice could have been a bit more. It seems that for set meals, you can ask for a refill on the rice. The staff's service was very good as well. The dessert I ordered additionally was delicious too.

I ordered the minced cutlet set meal, which had a unique menu item. There were two types of dipping sauces: salt and sauce. When I tried it with salt, the flavor of the meat stood out, and it was very delicious. It's no surprise coming from a butcher shop! The special three types of grilled meat rice bowl from Nodainiku also looked very tasty. There was a hormone rice bowl as well, which I would recommend for those who enjoy rich and hearty dishes.

I stopped by Gardens Chihaya after work and visited for the first time. It felt a bit difficult to enter, didn’t it?! Inside, there are private rooms, counter seats, and table seating. It has an open kitchen! I ordered the special Wagyu hamburger for 1,400 yen and rice for 300 yen. It took a long time for my order to be ready after I placed it! The taste was very delicious, but at this price, I wish rice and soup were included in the set! It's nice that PayPay is accepted here.

I’m not really interested in big chunks of meat, but I decided to check out the new place. I ordered a sirloin steak and a beer. It was fairly tasty, but it was just plain meat on the plate, and I wished there were some vegetables on the side. At around 2000 yen for 100g, I ordered a salad separately, but it didn't feel worth it. Looking at the menu, I thought the lunch bowls might actually be a better choice at this restaurant.

Nodanikudon... a rice bowl topped with three types of meat. The meat varies daily, and today it included lean meat, ichibo, and three kinds of grilled meat. The meat was decent and quite tasty. The special sauce was sweet and savory, which I liked. Carbonara... it was a bit on the lighter side in terms of flavor. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'll order it again. The staff's service was polite, which I appreciated very much.

I went out for lunch. The restaurant had a chic and nice atmosphere. I had the hamburger lunch. Honestly, the taste didn't quite match the price. The hamburger was dry and tasted like something an amateur would make, and the japonese sauce was overly sweet and didn't go well with the hamburger. This is just my personal opinion, but I'm not planning to go back again. I don't know about the other menu items.

I visited the newly expanded Gardens Chihaya, where more dining options have been added, including the restaurant Meat Grill Noda Nikku. This restaurant is located on the first floor of the building that houses the Edion store in Gardens Chihaya. The interior is clean and has spacious seating. The menu features a variety of meat dishes, as suggested by the name Noda Nikku, but there are also options like pasta, making it quite diverse. I ordered the meat bowl (large size). Although it’s a large size, those who eat a lot might find it a bit lacking; it feels somewhat refined. The meat is delicious, but personally, I would have preferred a bit more. Overall, the pricing is somewhat on the higher side, and it’s not the kind of place for a hearty meal.

I had previously enjoyed a delicious steak at the restaurant in Hakozaki, so I had high expectations when I went there again. I ordered the Nodanikudon for 1800 yen, adding an egg for an extra 100 yen. The meat was undeniably delicious, but for that price, I found it disappointing that only single-item meals were offered for lunch. More concerning was the operation and the movement of the staff, which made it hard to enjoy my meal. Even considering that it was right after opening, I was particularly bothered by the ladle covered in rice grains placed on top of the rice cooker. What? The staff handling food were on their phones while wearing gloves—what's the point? The large counter allowed the staff to prepare meals right in front of customers (it looked like they were training), and the kitchen or work area was completely visible. If that’s the case, they should keep it cleaner. The kitchen towels were hanging down awkwardly, and the shelves where dishes were stored were left open. The way the flowers in the vase were arranged was also off, to the point of having some that were wilted. It made me wonder if the Hakozaki location is also like this behind the scenes. The meat was great, but it was such a disappointment overall. I'm sorry, but I won't be coming back.

I visited the restaurant just after 1 PM on a weekday. It was lunchtime, and the place was almost full. I was shown to a table for two. You can order by scanning a QR code with your smartphone. However, I found it a bit confusing, and unfortunately, the katsudon I wanted to order was unavailable. In the end, I ordered the gyudon (beef rice bowl) for 1000 yen and the beef stew. The meat was indeed delicious and flavorful. However, there wasn't enough sauce, so the bottom of the bowl was mostly plain rice. I hope they can improve this in the future. "Niku Grill No Da Niku" has opened! They offer not only meat dishes but also pasta and rice bowls. This time, I had the hamburger and the guts rice bowl. The hamburger has a nice garlic flavor! The guts bowl was also very delicious. They have a wide selection of drinks, so it feels like a casual izakaya. Lunch prices are quite reasonable. It's understandable that it's not family restaurant prices, though. Since they just opened, I'm looking forward to what's next!

After a short wait, my order of the yakinikudon and salad set, priced at 1,100 yen, was ready. The mini salad included was mainly composed of vegetables. On April 26th, I visited "Nikudoriyaki Nodanik" on its opening day! The commercial facility "Gardens Chihaya Higashi," which houses Edion and Nitori, opened about 10 days earlier, but this was the opening day for "Nikudoriyaki Nodanik." I arrived around 11:02 AM, about a 10-minute walk from my house, and there were approximately 10 people in line. If I couldn't get in during the first round, I was planning to head over to the "Gardens Chihaya" Hario, but I was easily seated! The interior was stylish, with a high ceiling and a spacious atmosphere. The gently curved counter seats were particularly striking. Since I was alone, I sat there comfortably. I was instructed to scan a QR code to place my order. I ordered: - Grilled homemade hamburger: 1400 yen - Salad: 100 yen (by the way, soup is also 100 yen, and rice is 300 yen) - Highball: 480 yen The highball arrived at 11:14 AM, but the hamburger didn't come out until 11:37 AM. It seemed like the kitchen operation wasn't quite in sync with the floor service. The drink menu wasn’t included in the menu booklet, so I passed the time by reading it on my phone and taking screenshots while I waited. I had visited their main branch in Hakozaki two years ago and had a less than favorable impression then. The 100% Wagyu hamburger came with a Japonaise sauce. While it wasn't overflowing with meat juice, it was a meaty hamburger and quite delicious! However, I found the portion size a bit lacking! I wished I had ordered the double (1900 yen). But then again, that seems like a hefty price for lunch. Next time, I definitely want to try the "Yakiniku Don," which has been highly praised by Mai Repi. By the way, the Yakiniku Don (regular size) is priced at 1000 yen, making it, I believe, the cheapest on the lunch menu. Salads and soups have to be ordered separately. When I left, there were more than 10 people in line. PayPay is accepted. Thank you for the meal!

The yakiniku don is simply delicious. It comes with an egg and costs 1,100 yen. I also enjoyed a non-alcoholic sangria for 400 yen. The drink selection is great. I want to try the hormone don and steak don as well.

Yesterday, for my son's birthday celebration, our family of four visited Nodanik, a place we had been wanting to try. Setting the taste aside, I have some questions about the teamwork among the restaurant staff. We ordered a salad, appetizers, the main steak, drinks, and pasta all at once. The order of arrival was as follows: salad, appetizers, pasta, drinks (two juices), and finally the steak. Even after finishing the pasta, the drinks for the remaining two people (wine and beer) still hadn’t arrived, despite two reminders. When they finally did arrive, the beer was not what we had ordered (it was a cheaper option). I mentioned the mistake right away, and it took five minutes to confirm. I couldn’t drink the beer in front of me while I waited. Later, we were informed that due to a keg change, they had run out of stock. I believe that is something they should inform customers about immediately after placing the order. After the steak arrived, I ordered white rice, but after three of us had finished our steaks, I had to prompt them twice before it finally arrived. In the end, my son had to eat his steak sauce over the rice. I’ve been to many restaurants, but I’ve never seen such a flow of service. Moreover, the staff member who received my first prompt for the rice went back to the kitchen and started clearing empty glasses. Since it was a special birthday, it really ruined the occasion. No matter how good the food might be, the experience left a bad taste. If they take pride in the quality of their meat, they need to provide service that matches it; otherwise, customers will be driven away.
