Two days prior, we made a reservation over the phone and visited on Saturday after 12:30. When making the reservation, we were informed that only the 6600 yen course was available. There were no other customers besides us. Since we had another appointment, we requested to finish the course in about 2 hours, but it was completed in 1.5 hours. The dishes were all delicious with amazing flavors. They even provided finger bowls so we could eat the bone-in parts of the lamb with our hands. We had 2 beers and 2 glasses of red wine for a total bill of just under 20,000 yen for the two of us.

There is a shop located a 2-3 minute walk from the 2nd exit of Yotsuya Station or the back entrance of Yotsuya Building, run by a cute and charming young lady and another person. Each course comes out slowly, so be careful as you may get full quickly as time passes. At the counter, you can see the chef cooking, and it's clear that each dish is carefully prepared. On this day, they used white truffle in the risotto, which paired well with its rich flavor. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This also falls under the category of long-established restaurants. When I visited after a long time, the interior had become quite elegant and each dish had evolved into a stylish work of art. I thoroughly enjoyed even the last dish, the pistachio crème brûlée. Highly recommended.

The menu includes watermelon gazpacho, asparagus bruschetta, smoked firefly squid tacos, salad with horse mackerel, fuki (butterbur) and seri (Japanese parsley), champagne-steamed flounder with seaweed, edamame, and snow peas soup, squid ink pasta with sea urchin, lamb ragu pasta, grilled Kawachi duck, strawberry mille-feuille, Taiwan oolong tea, black tea cookies, and only white wine, 3 types, 4 glasses. When in Osaka, this is a must-visit restaurant with an open kitchen where you can see the dishes being prepared from the counter seats.

La Galoires is an Italian restaurant located a 5-7 minute walk from Nishi-Ohashi Station. It is a small and popular Italian restaurant run by a parent and child. It was selected as one of the top 100 Italian restaurants in the west in 2021. They only take reservations for lunch on weekends for groups of two or more, so if you want to try their lunch menu, you'll need to coordinate with a friend. We ordered the Chef's Special Lunch Course, which featured a variety of dishes that showcased influences from different countries and regions. From the appetizer tacos to the French-like white asparagus with poached egg, the clear soup made with Kumamoto red beef tongue, and the main dish of roasted red beef, each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The pasta dish, a staple of Italian cuisine, was also delightful with its spring-like ingredients and noodles. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to experience their amazing menu. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I used it for a lunch reservation. It seems that they only serve at the counter for lunch... Other customers arrived around the same time and we all started at once. The course meal from start to finish was visually appealing and delicious. It felt like they were particular about the ingredients. It was delicious! The price is a bit high, so I think it's good for a special lunch. If someone takes you here on a date, they have good taste! I'm not sure if it was because the regular customers were chatting with the owner, but it took over 2 hours for all the dishes to come out. Be mindful of the time.

A talented Italian restaurant near Shinsaibashi. It may not be rare now, but over 15 years ago, they only had counter seats at the open kitchen, which was unusual at the time. It was selected as one of the "Tabelog Italian WEST Top 100 Restaurants 2021", which is fantastic. Personally, I completely agree. What impressed me the most about this restaurant was the beautiful movements of the chef! The kitchen was not chaotic at all. It was like watching a serene performance, calm and graceful, yet the food was served promptly without making you wait. The chef's actions were so elegant that it felt like watching a master at work. He hardly touched the pots on the stove. It was truly impressive! The dishes were also delicious! The restaurant has been open for over 15 years, so the style of Italian cuisine is more like the 2000s, but within that, I believe it is top-notch. Lunch starts from 4000 yen, and dinner from 6500 yen, so the ingredients used are within that price range. Some people may nitpick about the ingredients, but I felt that the chef's skills showcased what cooking is all about. I also noticed that the salt was adjusted with the assumption that you would be drinking wine. (Note: Some other reviewers mentioned that the food service was slow, so my visit may have been exceptional. Please check it out for yourself.) On a side note, I am from Hiroshima, and there is a two-star French restaurant called "hiroto," the only one in the Chugoku region, where the chef also does not taste the food and works quickly. Even when the restaurant is full, he runs the kitchen alone, and the food is never delayed. He might be the fastest chef in Hiroshima, a true master. This restaurant also has an open kitchen. If you ever visit Hiroshima, I recommend checking it out. (Note: I apologize for mentioning other restaurants in this review, which I find distasteful, but as a reviewer from Hiroshima, I hope to introduce our local restaurants to users from other prefectures. I hope you understand my intention.)

I am Shinosuke Watanabe, a branding consultant known as the most free-spirited in Japan. The other day, I was thinking about having lunch at a new restaurant near my house, and I happened to pass by a place called La Galoires. It's a restaurant where the main seating is at the counter, but for some reason, even though there were two of us, we were offered a table at the back to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Honestly, I had no idea what kind of place it was until I entered, with zero prior information. It turned out to be a high-end course-only restaurant, and from the first dish, it was already delicious. I couldn't believe there was such a place near my house. The second dish was tacos. Italian tacos? I was skeptical at first, but when I tried it, it was absolutely delicious. Later, when I posted it on Instagram, my friends reacted saying they love tacos. It seems like it's famous. After that, we had pasta, meat, and everything was delicious. Branding is not about showing off or making it look like you're making a lot of money. The purpose of branding is to differentiate yourself so that you will be remembered. Having a high-end atmosphere inside and serving Italian cuisine in a small setting with almost only counter seating is a good branding strategy because the gap creates an impact.

During the pandemic, I have been drifting away from professional skills, but I was reminded of the value of professional expertise and the satisfaction it brings when I coincidentally discovered this restaurant. The interesting dishes, crafted with care to enhance flavor rather than showiness, were enjoyed with my daughter in a delightful pairing experience. I believe the quality exceeds the price without a doubt.

I went to Osaka for the first time in a while and tried a rare Italian lunch course at the counter for 5500 yen. Each dish was delicate and delicious without any complaints. The chef handles everything alone, so the service takes quite a bit of time. It may have just been that day, but there was a strange delay between each dish, making it feel a bit drawn out. It's important to have a certain tempo, even though it's nice to eat slowly. The meat was cooked perfectly, the presentation of each dish was beautiful, and the taste was exquisite. Thank you for the meal.

In the past, when there were many home appliance showrooms in Shinmachi, Nishi-ku, this was the restaurant I used to choose to treat my customers to lunch. It had been about 8-9 years since I last visited! This Italian restaurant uses Izumi vegetables and occasionally game meat. The way they produce vegetables had impressed me before. It's a small Italian restaurant, but it also has a sophisticated atmosphere like a teppanyaki restaurant. This must be the nature of the owner chef. I went for a holiday lunch. I remember that the portions were generous, so I chose the 3850 yen course. Starting with three appetizers, the Izumi vegetables were amazing! The green, fresh scent of the vegetables was beautiful. The game meat, pigeon, was also delicious with a nice balance of flavors. The green asparagus came with a visually appealing egg yolk sauce. The sauce was gentle and tasty. Caviar was served as an accent. The handmade pasta with bamboo shoots, wood buds, and duck meat was so delicious that I couldn't help but stop and say, "This is delicious!" The chef explained that the pasta is all handmade without using water, only egg yolks. The pasta was delicate and flavorful. The steak that followed was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of rareness and sear. The simple yet delicious side vegetables complemented the steak well. The dessert was a large custard pudding with my favorite vanilla ice cream. I chose herbal tea for my drink and was pleasantly surprised to receive a mini pastry (raisin financier) as well. Each dish was magically produced to bring out the best of the ingredients, incorporating seasonal colors and flavors abundantly, which reminded me of Japanese cuisine in a way. Despite having fewer customers than before, I admire the restaurant for being a "vegetable production magician." There are few Italian restaurants that face the charm of vegetables so beautifully. If I ever crave vegetable-focused Italian cuisine, I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I visited this hidden gem for the first time thanks to a friend's recommendation. I'm always happy to be invited to such hidden spots. It's not overly competitive to make a reservation, not in the midst of a gourmet bubble with exorbitant prices, yet the food is delicious without any complaints. The Italian wine pairing was excellent. With so many types of Italian wines, I don't have much knowledge, so I just went with the recommendations. It's always exciting to make interesting discoveries in such situations. Even though it's Italian cuisine, we were served dishes like tacos and other unique dishes, which made the experience more enjoyable than expected. I will definitely visit again. I look forward to seeing what other variations they have.

I was taken to a lunch reservation at a well-established Italian restaurant in Shinmachi by a regular customer who has been going there for 16 years. The dinner menu was a private affair with dishes prepared by the chef and his daughter. The appetizers were simply amazing, with a tingling sensation on the taste buds. The tagliolini had matsutake mushrooms in it, and the chestnut risotto was delicious. The main dish was duck with offal sauce, all of which were incredibly tasty. I will definitely come back again.

Tonight we had dinner at a famous Italian restaurant in Shinmachi. It is run by a parent and child, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for dining. Despite its long-established reputation and imposing exterior, the restaurant turned out to be quite homely. The menu on Tabelog features a wide variety of à la carte dishes, but when making a reservation, we were informed that only course meals were available. The current dinner offering consists of a 7-course meal, which was served without asking for our preference. The meal included 7 dishes, dessert, and petit fours, all made with seasonal ingredients for a spring-like experience. The charcoal-grilled wild boar taco went beyond traditional Italian flavors, while the firefly squid pasta had a slightly disappointing sauce. The Kumamoto red meat, served with truffles instead of sauce, had a deliciously lean texture and a hint of truffle aroma. Overall, the unpredictable and enjoyable dining experience was worth it. Despite some signs of aging in the decor, we hope this unique atmosphere continues, perhaps with the same parent-child team. We look forward to visiting again for lunch! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
