The ice cream is placed in a precarious position, but you can probably finish it before it falls. Maybe. It's a ticket system, so having exact change will make things smoother. There were a lot of customers, but the turnover was quite fast so I was able to eat quickly.

During the consecutive holidays, I went to Higashikawa Town to take pictures of Poke lids. After finishing taking pictures of the Poke lids, on my way back, I passed through Higashikagura Town and found a shop that was doing BM. I decided to go check it out. Following the navigation, I passed by Asahikawa Airport and was directed towards a green area where I found the shop. I almost missed it if I hadn't been paying attention. I parked my car in the parking lot and went into the shop. The showcase had delicious flavors lined up. This time, I chose a double scoop with chocolate (a definite choice for chocolate lovers) and cheese. The cheese gelato had a milk base with a hint of cheese acidity. It was sweet at first, followed by the flavor and acidity of the cheese, which was delicious. The chocolate gelato had a milk chocolate flavor with a hint of cocoa aroma. It was sweet and creamy, making it a delicious gelato. After leaving the shop, more customers kept coming in, showing how popular it was. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. I came to get a Poké bowl in Higashikawa-cho and made a detour to Asahikawa Airport for the first time (from the outside). It looked impressive. There were constantly customers coming in. I tried the Double (Amaretto Cherry, Blood Orange) milk-based Poké bowl with cherry chunks. It has a slightly rough texture, and the Blood Orange is a refreshing sorbet with mild acidity. Peach was light and refreshing, with a subtle sweetness. Chocolate Banana started off creamy and ended with a rich banana flavor, complemented by crunchy chocolate chips. All the gelato had a light and refreshing finish, making it a delightful treat. We would definitely stop by again the next time we visit Asahikawa Airport.

I had yuzu, blood orange, strawberry sherbet, and cookie flavors in a cone, as you couldn't choose between cup or cone. On a hot day, refreshing flavors leave your mouth feeling clean and are the best. They also have benches placed in different spots for those who want to take their gelato to go, which is great!

Today marks the start of a 2-night, 3-day tour of Kamikawa and Tokachi. After landing at Asahikawa Airport, we began our journey by rental car. Our first stop was "Ice Cream Factory Tamura Farm Clover." This shop, located just a few minutes from the airport, is an ice cream and gelato shop run by the Tamura Ranch. The daughter of the ranch owner is the shopkeeper. I purchased a ticket for 370 yen (tax included) for an ice cream. There are 14 types of gelato to choose from. I was hoping for a lot of local ingredients, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I chose "Blood Orange" and "Pepo Nuts." "Pepo Nuts" is the only gelato made from Hokkaido-grown ingredients. With the upcoming season, there may be more options such as "Melon," "Haskap," "Lavender," and "Corn." Hokkaido is full of delicious ingredients, and I hope they will make the most of "local production for local consumption."

I visited the handmade ice cream specialty shop "Clover" at Tamura Farm near Asahikawa Airport in Higashikagura-cho for the first time. At Asahikawa Airport, we went to Tamura Farm Clover. It's usually not crowded, but today there were two cars in front of us as we went up the hill. The parking lot was so full that we had to wait for about 10 minutes in line, then enter one group at a time, order, get our ice cream, and go outside. My companion had mini blueberry ice cream, while I had coconut and plum ice cream. The coconut had bits in it and was delicious. The plum tasted like eating it fresh. Below the hill, there were many dairy cows. There was one right next to us, mooing and trying to intimidate us. It was the first time it was this crowded.

My companion ordered gelato (choose two flavors) with the seasonal melon and the popular tiramisu flavors. The raspberry yogurt and hazelnut gelato cost 385 yen (tax included). The hazelnut flavor is made from locally grown Kabocha pumpkin seeds, giving it a unique and delicious taste. The raspberry flavor is refreshing and perfect for summer. The tiramisu and melon gelato also cost 385 yen (tax included). The tiramisu has a hint of rum and coffee, with actual tiramisu cake mixed in for a delightful texture. The melon flavor is light and refreshing, ideal for summer. I look forward to trying their soft serve next time!

Visited on August 15, 2019. After enjoying delicious soba in Niikappu, it was time for dessert. We were discussing whether to have melon, corn, or maybe something in Biei on our way to Asahikawa, but before we knew it, we had arrived here. We arrived at around 13:40. We had to go through a steep slope to get here. Along the way, a snake got run over by a car. Rest in peace, little snake. There were about 10 people waiting in line. After a 10-minute wait, we were able to place our order. We ordered ice cream for 350 yen each. I chose Amarena Cherry and Coconut flavors, while my companion chose Strawberry and Peach. Amarena Cherry was sweet and sour, with sweetness overpowering the sourness. Coconut had a subtle coconut flavor. Strawberry tasted like strawberry yogurt. Peach tasted like frozen peach, with even the texture of the fruit. We had to wait in line for another 10 people before receiving our ice cream. It's quite popular here. The parking lot was crowded, and the exit was a bit tricky to navigate. Overall, it was a good experience.

In front of Asahikawa Airport, I went to Clover. I had some time before the store opened, but since I rarely come here by car, I decided to wait and enter. It had been 3 years since I last came here. I came for the gelato. My companion had milk and haskap, while I had milk with a pumpkin seed-based gelato called Pepo Nuts. The milk flavor was just like pure milk, not like soft serve with no vanilla scent, truly just milk. The haskap had a subdued acidity making it easy to eat. The Pepo Nuts had a mild taste and scent for nuts, not very memorable but still tasty. The atmosphere of the shop was nice, and it's a shame that I can only come here when flying in and out of Asahikawa.

After eating to our hearts' content at the Genghis Khan Terrace in the airport, we had ice cream for dessert! This place is a must-visit when you come to the airport! Each of us chose our favorite flavors, I went with raspberry yogurt and hascup. We shared them all, but the ice cream here is always a hit. Thank you for the delicious meal! (´∇｀)
