Recently, I visited New Harukiya Stand, and it was truly the best standing bar I've ever been to! It's a typical "kaku-uchi" style, but there is absolutely no compromise on quality and atmosphere. From the staff's service to the food, cost-performance, and variety of drinks, everything was perfect. **Staff Service** The first thing I noticed was the warm, attentive, and considerate service from the staff. They maintained an appropriate distance while intuitively grasping my preferences and pace. Their professional approach left me impressed. **Variety of Drinks** The lineup of drinks is fantastic, featuring a wide range from classic options to some unusual selections. If you share your preferences, they will recommend drinks, allowing you to enjoy trying new choices that you wouldn't normally try. **Food** The quality of the food was astonishing. Each dish had a level of excellence that exceeded expectations for a standing bar. Here’s what I tried: - **Motsuni**: Tender and deeply flavored from the thorough cooking—an irresistible dish that keeps you sipping! - **Saba with Pickled Shallots**: An unexpected combination, but the richness of the saba and the freshness of the shallots harmonized perfectly! - **Arrabbiata (just the ingredients)**: This arrabbiata, focused on the toppings, delivered a spicy and rich flavor experience. - **Saba Gratin**: The creamy sauce fused beautifully with the saba. Personally, this was my favorite of the day! - **Smoked Cheek Meat**: Heavily smoked, releasing a smoky aroma with every bite—a luxurious dish. - **Soy-Marinated Red Chicken Thigh**: The flavor is well-absorbed, making it a fantastic pairing with drinks. - **Olives and Pickles**: With a refreshing taste, these are perfect for cleansing the palate in between bites. They provide a nice balance overall. Everything I tried was excellent, and I was truly impressed by the careful seasoning and treatment of the ingredients. **Cost Performance** Given the quality of the food and drinks, the prices are surprising. The value for money is so high that satisfaction goes beyond just "high cost performance." This great cost efficiency makes me want to visit again and again. **Conclusion** I feel fortunate to have discovered a place that makes me sincerely say, "I want to come back." New Harukiya Stand offers delicious food and drinks, along with a comfortable space that provides a special experience. I look forward to continuing to visit in the future!

Here it is good enough... ● Definition of Stars ☆ Less than 3 stars → OK with just one visit ☆ 3.5 stars → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service slightly exceed the average ☆ 4 stars → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service significantly exceed the average, and I can confidently recommend it to family and friends ☆ 4.5 stars → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service overwhelmingly exceed the average, and it's a place everyone should visit at least once ☆ 5 stars → Beyond description ● Self-introduction I dine out approximately 1,000 times a year. I believe that the quantitative number of visited restaurants is not necessarily important; however, in order to seek quality, one must first experience quantity, which leads to a well-used stomach. As a hunter myself, I have a strong commitment to meat, and I never miss the opportunity to learn about ingredients by traveling across Japan to meet producers.

It was a place like a standing bar with a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. When I entered just after 4 PM, there were three women at a table in the back, happily enjoying various drinks. For my first drink, the owner recommended an affordable bourbon and whiskey. I ordered a side dish of chive eggs, which were delicious with a fragrant sesame oil flavor. It’s a joy to enjoy a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices, and being able to leisurely gaze at the long line of drinks while sipping is pure bliss. I’m excited about what to drink next. The owner is also kind enough to share information about different drinks, which is great. It’s a wonderful place.

I was looking for a place to drink during the day and stumbled upon this spot. It seems like it hasn't been open for long, as the interior feels new. The drinks are self-serve from the refrigerator. I was so impressed with the low prices that I ended up trying all the types of bottled beer. Every dish was really delicious! If it were closer to my house, I would definitely become a regular. If it were located more towards Tenjin, it would probably be an extremely popular place. (But honestly, it's not inconvenient at all.) I definitely want to visit again when I go to Fukuoka!

● One-word impression: I'll definitely keep coming back. ● Cost performance: The strongest in Japan. ● Feedback: If you only look at the cost-performance of alcohol, this place is among the best in Japan. They have Yamazaki, of course, as well as Hakushu and Hibiki. They also stock quite expensive wines. ● Star rating system: ☆ 3 or below → Visit once and that's enough. ☆ 3.5 → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service are slightly above average. ☆ 4 → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service are significantly above average; I can confidently recommend it to family and friends. ☆ 4.5 → Cost performance, taste, atmosphere, and service are overwhelmingly above average; this is a place everyone should visit at least once. ☆ 5 → Beyond description. ● Self-introduction: I dine out about 1,000 times a year. While the number of restaurants I visit isn’t the most important factor, I believe in seeking quality through quantity, which means putting my stomach to the test. As a hunter myself, I have a strong focus on meat, and I constantly learn about ingredients by visiting producers across Japan.

I stopped by after work on Tuesday around 6 PM, and there were no other customers. I started with a beer, Black Label, in a casual style. I asked for recommendations and ordered smoked almost pure beef, which was delicious! The beef tendon stew was the best I've ever had—I drank every last drop of the soup! The recommended sake was also tasty! The staff was friendly and had a great vibe! The bill was reasonable too! I want to go back!

I finally got to visit the standing bar I've been curious about! It opens at 3:00 PM and closes at 9:00 PM, so I had a hard time finding the right time to go. I made my way there around 6:00 PM on a Saturday. Although it's a standing bar, there are chairs and tables, making it a very sophisticated and stylish place. The wine starts at just 500 yen a glass, which is quite reasonable. There are various snacks available, and among them, the smoked beef cheek with truffle sauce was unbelievably delicious. I'm definitely going back! It seemed like there were many solo male customers. Thank you for the meal!

Suzaki "New Harukiya Stand" in Hakata Ward… in an area where there aren't too many dining options, an amazing place has opened up. It's called "New Harukiya Stand." It's a typical standing bar, but the back has a spacious area with seating available. You can choose your own bottled beer, and a medium-sized bottle is only 330 yen – that's really a standing bar price. The snacks are reasonably priced and there are various options; olives and pickles are 330 yen, and the recommended beef tendon stew is just 660 yen. It's melt-in-your-mouth delicious! What really stands out is the wide selection of spirits and wines in the shop. You can wander around and find the drink you want. The prices are clearly labeled on the bottles, which is reassuring. Wow! Drambuie is available for just 330 yen a shot! After deliberating, I discovered Old Monk in the fridge. The grotesque bottle with the founder’s face. That's also just 400 yen a shot. This is incredible… this place is a paradise for alcohol lovers. It's a paradise for those who want to learn about different kinds of drinks and enjoy a variety of spirits. Seriously, I highly recommend it. ● Shop Information New Harukiya Stand 092-285-5490 6-9 Susaki-cho, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City

I started my quick afternoon drink at this place that opens at 3 PM! For the highball, I ordered the Basca, which the staff recommended last time. As for food, I repeated the braised beef tendon and soy-marinated red chicken that I enjoyed during my previous visit (o^^o). I also added the beef cheek with truffle sauce. This dish made the drinks even more enjoyable, so I had another highball! I definitely want to drop by again. Thank you for the meal!

This time, I stayed at a hotel in Suzaki Town and decided to explore new places nearby. I found a corner bar through an online search. I had a specific image of corner bars being like a small section in a liquor store with a Showa-era vibe, where you drink canned alcohol and enjoy canned food. However, this place was quite stylish. I ordered "Pork Trottter with Demi-Glace" (¥660). I often enjoy pork trotters, but this was my first time trying them braised in demi-glace sauce. It was exquisite! The trotter was thoroughly cooked, allowing the sauce to infuse deeply into it. I’ve had curry-braised trotter in Okinawa, but this demi-glace version was exceptional. The tender pork pairs wonderfully with the demi-glace sauce. I also ordered a side of bread, but instead of French bread, it was sliced white bread, which felt quite fitting for a corner bar. Still, I enjoyed soaking the sauce with it. Next, I tried "Cold Tofu with Nameko Mushrooms" (¥330), which was a bit unusual. The cold tofu was topped with a lightly tangy nameko mushroom sauce, and it was simple yet delicious. I also had "Smoked Beef Cheek with Truffle Sauce" (¥440), which was another tasty appetizer. For the price, having beef cheek with truffle sauce is impressive! Even though the dishes were Western-style, I suddenly felt like having some sake, so I ordered "Shun Junmai Sake," a sake from Ukihashi in Fukuoka. Drinking sake at a corner bar is just delightful. They offer a range of beverages, from wine to Japanese sake. The entrance was surprisingly stylish for a corner bar. The pork trotter with demi-glace was a rare find, and I would love to go back and enjoy it again.

A white noren made it hard to see inside the store. When I peeked in, the elegant interior caught my attention, so I decided to enter. It felt like a shot bar. I went further in and ordered a Maru Efu and umeshu (plum wine crystal) at a round table while standing. I enjoyed the umeshu while listening to other customers' conversations, and after about 20 minutes, I left the shop. It was a very comfortable standing bar.

The bottled beer is still 330 yen, which is fantastic! When I visited after a long time, I noticed that they had added smoked dishes to the food menu! It seems they are sourcing the smoked items from a delicious restaurant known for its smoking in Yakuin Oodori. - Grilled Chicken Thigh over Charcoal 400 yen: The smoky flavor and texture are amazing! This definitely makes me want to stay longer! - Jellyfish with Ponzu 330 yen: The crunchy texture is addictively good. The staff are all very friendly, making it really comfortable to be here. Whether you're alone or in a group, it's a wonderful place where everyone can enjoy themselves. I’ll definitely come back and take my time!

I had a great experience on my first visit, so I decided to come back before heading to my main destination. They open at 3 PM, making it easy to stop by for a quick drink. I enjoyed two highballs with the owner’s recommended whiskey, along with soy-marinated red chicken and simmered beef tendon. The beef tendon was a repeat from my previous visit, and the red chicken, while soy-marinated, was not too spicy and was perfect as a snack with drinks. They had new smoked items added to the menu, so I think I’ll come back when I have a bit more time to enjoy them! Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed daytime drinking at a newly opened standing bar in Suzaki Town. Right when I entered, I could tell that the selection of drinks was incredibly diverse. They have a strong focus on whiskey and wine. This time, I tried two types of basker with Chita whiskey as highballs! The staff was very friendly and shared various recommendations when I asked. For snacks, I ordered beef tendon stew, ume crystal (marinated plum), spicy octopus kimchi, and sausages. The beef tendon stew was especially delicious, even the konjac was tasty, so I highly recommend it! The decor of the bar is stylish, and there are counter seats in the back where you can relax. The hours are early, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, making it easier to visit as a first stop rather than a second or third. Thank you for the meal!

The sake shop has opened a stand-up bar! With prices set by a sake shop, it's an unbeatable deal. A medium bottle of beer is just 330 yen! You won't find this price anywhere else! - Highball: 380 yen - Macallan 12 Year on the Rocks: 850 yen - Yoichi on the Rocks: 450 yen - Wine: Glass from 500 yen and up And there are more great deals beyond just beer! There's a range of wines available, from affordable options to bottles that cost 100,000 yen! The prices are clearly noted for bottle and glass service, and they will open it for you even if it's unopened. What a wonderful place! They also have delicious snacks to please any drinker: - Braised beef tendon that is cooked to tenderness, with a unique texture from the konjac that has been frozen and then prepared! - Cabbage kimchi - instead of napa cabbage, they use cabbage, giving it a great texture that pairs well with beer! - Olives and pickles - perfectly tangy and a great match for wine! The owner shares various tips and insights, making it a fun experience to enjoy your drinks! It's such a charming place that I might become a regular! Thank you so much! It's mostly stand-up seating, but there are chairs at the counter in the back. You can also pay with PayPay!

I visited the newly opened standing bar, New Harukiya Stand, located where the former Kogaya used to be. The large noren (curtain) at the entrance is quite striking, and the interior is very stylish. There are several chairs at the back, and even further in, there's an impressive array of wines displayed. The prices for drinks are incredibly reasonable, perhaps because it's a standing bar. The glasses are beautiful, and when I asked the staff, they told me that the shop is filled with the owner's passion and dedication. There aren't many food items on the menu, so it might be ideal for a pre-party gathering or if you just want a quick drink afterward. The bar closes at 9:00 PM, but the owner and the staff are all very friendly.
