I heard about this place that recently opened and visited around 5:00 PM on Saturday. There weren't as many people there as I expected, so I was able to sit at the counter right away. The café latte was 650 yen and it was just the right amount and very delicious. It’s a really calming space, so I think it will get crowded once more people start to notice it.

It's about a 5-minute walk from the Shindoto East Station. Since the interior is not visible from the outside, you can’t tell how crowded it is until you go in. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was mostly full, but I managed to get a seat at the counter. There are also tables at the back, so don’t hesitate to go further in! The cafe latte was around 700 yen, and I was really happy with the beautiful latte art. The staff worked efficiently and cooperatively, which was pleasant to watch.

I’m thrilled that I can now have my favorite Onyanma coffee in the Higashi district. It’s just a short walk from the subway station. The interior of the café is spacious and has a nice depth to it. In the afternoon, the place is lively and bustling. Today, I ordered my usual Onyanma blend along with some soft serve ice cream, which is also of high quality. There’s no parking available, so I had to go to a nearby parking lot.

I ordered the Iron Plate Napolitan for 980 yen and the Rwanda - Shira Washing Station coffee for 750 yen. There was a 300 yen discount when ordered together. The Rwanda coffee is a medium-light roast with flavor notes of mandarin orange, brown sugar, and juiciness. The processing method and variety are also detailed: Natural processing method, Bourbon variety. The hot coffee arrived first, served in a wine glass. I enjoyed it black without sugar. It has a calming orange taste with a slight acidity that lingers and a gentle sweetness. After the meal, it felt reminiscent of a calming flavored tea, and while the acidity made its presence known, it was wrapped in a gentle aroma. The Iron Plate Napolitan comes with a salad. The pasta had a chewy, mochi-like texture that was very enjoyable. The hot, sizzling Napolitan had a strong flavor of brown sauce rather than a pronounced tomato taste. I was expecting a rich tomato flavor, so the taste was a bit different, but the crispy onion slices and the runny fried egg enhanced the flavor, making it quite satisfactory. On September 24, 2024, ONIYANMA BASE opened as the third location in Chuo Ward, following the one in Daimaru. It's a place that serves quite good coffee, but since it was a holiday afternoon, I decided to skip the coffee. Instead, I purchased the "Espresso Soft Cream for 550 yen." It was delicious as well. After settling the payment, it was quickly wrapped up and handed to me. The soft cream was dusted with coffee powder and came out of a thick nozzle with a nice swirl. The rich, smooth texture and the balance of sweetness and bitterness were unique. It reminded me of the slightly bitter coffee soft serve at Misuzu Coffee in the basement of the Kokusai Building in Sapporo, which was also very tasty. I have a feeling I will be visiting either place again in the future. Thank you for the treat!

It's located a bit deeper in the Higashi area, and although there's no parking, I still want to thank them for creating such a great place. For someone like me, who just bought a single item from a deli and feels a bit out of place reviewing it, this might be a bit intimidating, haha. However, I hope to be one of the first to review this lovely place! I would have been happy just to enjoy a coffee, but I thought it might look boring, so I ordered the Oniyanma Coffee Parfait for 980 yen. It took quite a while from when I ordered to when it was served, and since I had to be in Suwa by 20 minutes later, I rushed through it, so I can’t really describe it well. The ice cream on top reminded me of tiramisu, and I topped it with a slightly bitter coffee syrup. There was also coffee jelly at the bottom. Unfortunately, with such limited time, my first review felt a bit rushed. I did see some delicious-looking food options as well, so next time I want to enjoy a meal, drinks, and dessert while soaking in this wonderful atmosphere.

The espresso soft serve was rich and delicious. The coffee is roasted in the shop, and I enjoyed a flavorful Brazilian coffee served in a stylish glass, taking in the aroma while savoring the taste.
