C set (yakisoba 2/3 mini cha-han) is 870 yen. Cheap! The set comes with regular almond tofu and regular wakame soup. The cha-han is slightly salty and delicious, with firm rice. The yakisoba has a thick sauce and is very hot. It feels like a meal you would find in a cultural center or above a department store. It's a taste that I have experienced in places like that before. Surprisingly, smoking is allowed here, which is rare nowadays. I wish smokers could hold off at meal times.

The fried rice is not greasy and easy to eat. There are many solo female diners. It's a welcoming place with delicious food, that's why. Thank you for the meal.

Here comes China Park again. I couldn't order the 2600 yen course online, so I called and made a reservation. The forecast was heavy rain from evening to night, so the restaurant was mostly empty. Cheers with beer. I took a picture of the order paper to remember what we got this time. Started with the classic pickled mustard greens. They were thinly sliced this time, but still tasty. The location is in Chuo-ku Odori Nishi 1-chome. Next to Sapporo TV Tower, in the Katsura Odori Building 50 basement. If you come from Sapporo Underground Shopping Street "Aurora Town," pass by "Lutroa" and "Jupiter," a store that sells imported food, and go up from the basement entrance of the building (basement 2nd floor). I arrived at 13:45 (Thursday). Actually, I arrived a little before 13:30. I was the third person waiting outside. Oh, even on a "weekday," it's crowded even if you avoid lunchtime. Many people take their lunch breaks at different times. Maybe many people also use it as a smoking area. That's why you have to wait, I imagine. I thought it was a choice between the two, but it turned out both were included. Lucky me, double the meat. The Chinese stir-fry had crunchy vegetables that I love, especially the onions. I don't usually cook like this at home. The black pepper added a nice touch. I added more black pepper from the table to make it spicier. I still don't know. Is this place a hit or miss? We ordered the 7-item, 90-minute all-you-can-drink course for 2600 yen. We were given a single menu and asked to circle our choices from A to E. We deliberated and even resorted to rock-paper-scissors to decide (laughs). Let's start with a toast with beer. From A, we had lightly pickled vegetables. A refreshing and appetizing taste. From B, we had Bang Bang Ji. The sauce was deliciously seasoned. From C, we had simmered shrimp and tofu. A gentle and flavorful dish with a solid taste. Each dish was just the right amount for sharing between two people, and the beer kept flowing. From D, we had mixed yakisoba. They really understood that this was the perfect dish to end with! The flavoring, noodle texture, and cooking were all just to my liking! Now, onto the difficult decision of choosing from E. For the first dish, we had gyoza. A classic choice. Hot and crispy, it was delicious. For the second dish, we had sweet and sour pork. The meat was large, and at first, it didn't seem like sweet and sour pork (laughs). But the taste was spot on. For the third dish, we had stir-fried pork and garlic sprouts. The onions were crunchy, and by this point, I could shout, "Chinese food is the best!" with a satisfaction level of 120%. I found a place that offered a regular portion of ankake yakisoba for 730 yen, or a medium portion of 500 grams for the same price, which seemed like a great deal for big eaters. At the last minute, I was overwhelmed by the power of the 500-gram portion and ended up ordering the A set. The set included 150 grams of yakisoba, 2 pieces of shumai, salad, soup, and a small serving of rice. The 150-gram yakisoba portion was smaller than expected, but I thought the medium portion of 500 grams would have been manageable. However, there was a 300 yen penalty for leaving food uneaten. The soup lacked flavor, the shumai was average, and overall, the portion size was just right for a lunchtime meal. The set also included the option to pay by card, with a price of 490 yen for a draft beer. Next time, I will definitely go for the medium portion.

Visited China Park, located underground at Odori Station after a long time. I was craving for ankake yakisoba, so I decided to revisit. The lunch menu offers a variety of sets, but I remember the portions being huge... I opted for the lightest option, Yakisoba Set A. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The set includes ankake yakisoba (150g), rice, 2 gyoza, salad, soup, and pickles for only 550 yen. It's quite a deal! The ankake yakisoba had a good consistency and delicious flavor. The gyoza as a side dish was also tasty. I was satisfied at about 80% full. It was delicious. I will definitely come back again.

You can also opt for the large portion which is 750g for an extra 300 yen. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The yakisoba with a slightly thick sauce had a good variety of ingredients, meeting expectations. If you ask, they can provide mustard on the side. The fried rice was also decent, at the level of a typical local Chinese restaurant. The almond jelly seemed homemade and was a nice palate cleanser. The service was friendly and attentive, which was appreciated. The value for money is good, especially considering the portion size. Overall, it's a good option for when you want a hearty meal. If I visit again, I'll go for the medium portion of yakisoba. The evening party course with 10 dishes and 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink beer for 3000 yen seems like a great deal. The food is decent, so... However, it's worth noting that smoking is allowed in all seats during lunchtime. About 70% of customers were smoking during my visit, so it seems like there are many people who come here for that purpose.

After peeking at the Munich Christmas market on my way back, I found out that the Western restaurant I was planning to go to was unexpectedly closed for lunch. So, I searched for another place and ended up here. I was happy to see that they serve sweet and sour pork, but unfortunately they were out of it. I could have ordered the set A with sweet and sour pork, but I panicked and ordered the shrimp chili instead. The service was quick and the taste was not bad, although the dishes were a bit lukewarm. I couldn't finish the rice with the dumplings and shrimp chili, but I managed to eat it with the furikake on the table. This place seems like a casual dining spot. If it were closer to my workplace, it would be quite convenient. The set A is cheap! I ate the rice with furikake. Quick service. Fast turnover. The staff were friendly! Thank you for the meal.

Located in a tenant building underground on the south side of Sapporo's Odori area, near the TV Tower. The entrance displays sample menus, including daily specials. The restaurant has a cafe-like atmosphere with a kitchen area on the left side in the back. There are several table seats with transparent vinyl dividers between them. The yakisoba here refers to yakisoba with a thick sauce. The regular portion is 300g, while the medium portion is 500g, both priced at 730 yen. The regular portion comes with spring rolls and shumai. You can also get a large portion with 750g of noodles for an additional 300 yen. The noodles are thin and have a high water content. The sauce is generous, but not as rich as traditional Chinese restaurants. It has a light flavor. The toppings include pork, ham, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, greens, and cabbage. The portion of toppings is a bit small. The 500g portion of noodles is quite substantial. Although the dish is tasty, the fact that smoking is allowed in the restaurant can be challenging.
