Today's lunch was at Tanpo, a Chinese restaurant in Yado-in. The lunch course is available by reservation only, and must be made in advance. The special lunch course costs 5,300 yen and includes a total of 7 appetizers, such as pickled cherry tomatoes, sweet and sour pickled peppers, salted pork tongue, dried pork belly, sashimi of striped jack, Chinese-style potato salad with roast beef, century egg tofu, jellyfish head with black vinegar, and fried flounder and eggplant. The first dish alone was enough to captivate my taste buds. The collagen-rich soup with duck and chicken, including grilled shirako, was also delicious. The spare ribs with black vinegar, steamed rockfish, stir-fried vermicelli with bone-in pork spare ribs, and dessert of almond tofu with lemon and jasmine tea creme brulee were all exceptional. It's no wonder this place was chosen as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in Western Japan. I definitely want to visit again for dinner. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #SweetsUncle

I came here after a while, but recently it's consistently delicious whenever I come. The dim sum has increased in variety, making it an enjoyable place with many options. The char siu, Peking duck, hot and sour soup, and shrimp with mango sauce are all excellent. Lastly, I requested the salted fish fried rice and it was delicious. It's a very good restaurant where you can relax and enjoy your meal.

The dishes I had on this day were Kenken Katsuo tataki with Sichuan sweet and spicy sauce, four kinds of appetizers, salted pork tongue with drooling sauce, steamed shrimp dumplings, black truffle xiaolongbao, oil-drenched chicken, garlic sautéed fried squid, five-ingredient fried rice, and soy sauce yakisoba. Everything was delicious as always. The owner even escorted us to the entrance at the end. It was so good. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a Chinese restaurant in Osaka for the first time. I made a reservation the night before and visited on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had 5 tables and was relatively compact. I ordered the 3,000 yen lunch course. The staff were attentive and the dishes were beautifully presented. The simple seasoning brought out the flavors of the ingredients well. It was delicious!

It's been a while since I visited. I first came here after hearing about it from an acquaintance, maybe several years ago. I was so impressed at that time, but because it's a bit far from my house, I couldn't come back often. However, it was still delicious as ever. It's much tastier than those Osaka-based restaurants that are popular in the media.

The appetizers were delicious! The chashu pork, century egg, jellyfish, and steamed chicken with small shrimp and fluffy scrambled eggs were all great. The spring rolls were crispy and filled with lots of ingredients. The spare ribs with black vinegar had a strong sour taste that I love, and the meat was tender. The Hong Kong-style soy sauce fried noodles were light and tasty. Lastly, the fried rice with mixed ingredients was also delicious with juicy chashu, shrimp, and greens. Overall, it was a refined and delicious Chinese meal. Thank you for the meal!

The Oil-Drizzled Chicken was 1,130 yen and the Pork Normal Xiao Long Bao was 680 yen. The Oil-Drizzled Chicken was delicious, with just the right amount of tanginess in the seasoning. The Xiao Long Bao was filled with plenty of ingredients, but the bottom tore making it a bit difficult to eat. Overall, both dishes were very tasty.

I was curious about a Chinese restaurant in Sakai, Suson, where lunch reservations were required the day before and only set courses were available. The restaurant had received high praise from many people, so I was eager to try it out. The stylish interior was a stark contrast to the typical Chinese restaurants in town, but the kitchen view from the back gave off a true Chinese cuisine vibe. Enjoying a lunch course with a cold beer on a hot summer day was fantastic. The lunch course included: - Assorted appetizers - Chicken wings and winter melon soup - Assorted dim sum - Fried Kyoto shrimp and pumpkin - Soupless tantanmen (spicy noodle dish) - Almond tofu - Hot coffee The quality of the dishes, starting from the appetizers, was outstanding. The duck tongue dish was particularly surprising, with a tender texture and just a hint of rare cartilage. It truly showcased the high level of the restaurant. I was seeking a different dining experience than usual, and this restaurant delivered. Despite being a reasonable lunch course, it featured a variety of cooking techniques and each dish was impeccably executed. The excitement continued with each new dish, keeping me engaged until the end. The soupless tantanmen, with its simple yet flavorful combination of spices, nuts, and homemade sauce, paired perfectly with the summer vegetables and flat noodles. The refreshing almond tofu dessert was a delightful finish to the meal. I was thoroughly satisfied with the delicious food and am now curious about trying the evening course, which seems reasonably priced at 6,700 yen. It's been a while since I last visited Tanpaku-san. They have added a variety of new dishes to their menu, including an assortment of eight appetizers, dim sum, corn dumplings, braised pork belly buns, soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, pan-fried leek dumplings, Peking duck, lemon-flavored fried shrimp, and stir-fried Japanese beef with Sichuan pepper. The menu has expanded and it's quite enjoyable. I'll have to come back again soon! 🎉

I searched for a delicious dinner during my business trip to Osaka and found this restaurant. I made a reservation for 4 people and visited the restaurant. The place was not spacious, with only table seating. I was glad I made a reservation. We toasted with beer and decided to order a la carte dishes instead of a course. We ordered 4 types of appetizers, soft shell crab in chili sauce (1,350 yen), and everything was delicious. The xiaolongbao also looked delicious, but we ended up forgetting to order it. Truly a renowned restaurant. The staff, atmosphere, and the vibe of the regular customers were all wonderful, in addition to the food. Next time, I definitely want to try the xiaolongbao.

Visit Date: 12:00 on a weekday Wait time: Same-day reservation Menu: Lunch course for 2,700 yen I called around 11:00 on the same day to make a reservation, but when I arrived at 12:00, there were still empty seats available. It seems that you can still have the lunch course even without a reservation if there are empty seats. During lunchtime, only course meals were served. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. However, even the fish dish in bite-size portions had bones in it, making it a bit difficult to eat. There were multiple bones in it, so I don't think it was a case of forgetting to remove them. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation here for a friend's celebration. I was worried because it was a Friday, but I'm glad I was able to make a reservation. Instead of ordering a course meal, we decided to order a variety of dishes a la carte since everyone has strong likes and dislikes. As expected of a restaurant listed on Tabelog, everything we tried was delicious. The only disappointment was the shark fin soup. Other than that, everything was extremely tasty.

Once again, we came to "Chinese Cuisine Tanpo" for our wedding anniversary! This place offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. While the course menu is good, today we decided to choose our own dishes! We ordered the oven-baked homemade char siu, which pairs well with beer. The crispy char siu is really delicious! The juicy oil-drizzled chicken is also amazing! The mapo tofu seems like it would go well with rice. Of course, we also ordered sake today, which pairs well with Chinese cuisine. The delicious Chinese dishes go perfectly with the sake, making it a perfect match! The pork xiaolongbao and dumplings are also elegant and delicious! My wife is smiling thanks to the power of delicious food! How many more times will we end up coming to Tanpo for our anniversary??? Thank you for the delicious meal!!!

This is a Chinese restaurant in Sakai City, chosen as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. I was lucky to get a reservation on the same day, so I decided to visit. The interior of the restaurant has a modern feel and is full of energy. I ordered the lunch course for 2700 yen, including tax. The course included a variety of appetizers, beef belly and cabbage soup, stir-fried appetizers with green sauce, today's congee, and almond tofu. The main focus is on vegetables, and the dishes are intricate and very delicious. The dishes bring out the aroma and flavor of the vegetables without being oily. The stylish presentation is reminiscent of French cuisine but with a Taiwanese twist. The rich and creamy congee with plenty of meat flavor is exquisite. Squeezing lemon over the almond tofu adds a fresh and cheese-like flavor that is delicious. I would like to visit again for dinner next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

A la carte dinner at Danfu, located between Sakai Station and Sakai Higashi Station in Sakai City. The menu includes colorful nuts and vegetables with white fish sashimi, intricately made truffle xiaolongbao, chive dumplings, pepper cakes, high-quality dim sum, affordable Peking duck, spicy lamb chops, and delicious snow crab and tobiko, as well as lettuce fried rice. The Chinese cuisine at this Michelin-starred restaurant from the former Imperial Palace is top-notch. Even without alcohol, I thoroughly enjoyed the elegant oolong tea.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Suin Station, the Chinese restaurant "Chugoku Ryori Tanpu" offers a variety of vegetable-based Chinese dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. It was selected as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the west in 2021. While it may be a bit far from the city center, it is definitely worth a visit for its delicious cuisine. I ordered the popular lunch course, which was healthy and full of vegetables. Each dish had a great balance of flavors and highlighted the natural taste of the vegetables. However, the most impressive part was the almond jelly dessert with lemon juice. Squeezing lemon over the almond jelly brought out a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness, making it a truly outstanding dish. Although it may take some time to get there, I recommend visiting when you have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited this restaurant with my mother and brother after visiting the grave during our trip back to Osaka. We ordered the 2700 yen course meal, but our expectations were not met. The overall satisfaction was not very high. The dishes were average, including the creative ones. The main dish of duck meat with curry sauce was decent, not bad but not exceptional either.

You can taste a variety of dishes with course meals! The timing of serving the dishes was well coordinated, making the dining experience enjoyable. They also offer 5-year and 10-year aged Shaoxing wine, which is not commonly found in regular Chinese restaurants. I would love to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance. ✨✨

On this day, I visited the restaurant "Chinese Cuisine Tanpo" near the Shukuincho Park. It is located just 2 minutes from Shukuin Station. Here is the menu for the day: - Wind-dried Oyama chicken crepe roll: Oyama chicken lightly smoked with pickled cabbage in a chewy crepe roll with special miso sauce. - Slow-cooked seasonal healthy soup. - Pan-fried mushroom dumplings: Large dumplings filled with plenty of meat juice. - Pork belly curry with soft cartilage: Soft curry simmered with pork belly cartilage. - Tianjin rice: Special Tianjin rice with wood ear mushrooms, squid, tomato, and okra. - Dessert: Almond tofu with a squeeze of lemon. - Coffee. The crepe roll and the eggplant and cheddar cheese pie were delicious. The healthy soup had a deep and healthy flavor with lotus root, carrots, and jujubes. The large pan-fried dumplings were handmade with a generous amount of meat juice. The curry with pork belly cartilage was tender and flavorful. The Tianjin rice with various ingredients was delightful. The dessert, almond tofu with lemon, was a classic choice. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.
