I entered the restaurant around 6:00 PM. It was a Sunday, but there were only two other customers inside. I ordered the signature dish, chicken tempura udon. The tempura chicken was crispy and delicious, and the freshly made udon noodles were chewy and firm, creating a perfect harmony. As you can see from the photo, the freshly made udon noodles were shining.

The weather was clear on Saturday at 12:30, with 2 seats available. However, after that, hardly any customers came, and by around 1 o'clock, there were quite a few empty seats. The prices for udon are now around 1,000 yen. The difference in prices between chain and individual stores seems to be getting wider! It took a while to cook after ordering, and first up was the Chicken Tempura Udon! The broth was incredibly delicious, not too salty but with a strong umami flavor. The slightly thinner noodles were excellent, providing a chewy and smooth texture. The tempura was a bit soggy, but that was expected. Next was the Shrimp Tempura Soy Sauce Udon! The cold noodles had a strong texture and were best enjoyed with the added condiments. The tempura was incredibly crispy, almost like a snack. The Mini Shrimp Tempura Bowl had a crispy coating and a delicious sauce. Despite the small size, it was quite filling, so be mindful of your stomach capacity when ordering!

Near Takii Station, within a range of several dozen meters, there are two ramen and udon restaurants, both old and new, totaling about a hundred. I visited a udon restaurant called "Kouya" in Kouya-cho, which is popular among elderly patients from the nearby large hospital. I ordered the chicken tempura udon, which was advertised as a popular dish. Due to the hot weather, I did not opt for the famous curry udon. The udon noodles were thick, chewy, and delicious. The freshly fried chicken and fish cake were also excellent. Thank you for the meal!

I have a friend who is a holistic therapist, and I regularly get my body checked by them. Whenever I visit them, we always have lunch at a local spot. This time, they took me to "Teuchi Udon Koya" located right in front of Keihan Takii Station. The location is excellent, with several awards from gourmet information sites displayed inside. The expectations were sky-high. My friend always orders the "Chicken Tempura Udon with Raw Soy Sauce," so I decided to try something different and went for the "Chicken and Egg Tempura Udon with Broth on the Side." It cost 1100 yen. The udon that arrived was visually stunning, with the perfectly cooked egg tempura. The udon had a unique texture that bounced off the teeth. It was challenging to chew, requiring a bit of effort. I had to use my front teeth to cut and chew it while enjoying the smoothness as I swallowed. Truly a sinful taste. This udon is a drink for those who love to indulge in food. My friend claimed that their "Chicken Tempura" is the only one he approves of as a fan of deep-fried chicken. Indeed, it was delicious. The crispy coating had a robust flavor, and the juicy chicken retained its juiciness. Even the coating soaked in the broth was tasty. This is the true essence of having broth with noodles. If I had to nitpick, the broth's flavor was slightly weak, just a tad. However, this is a judgment from a seasoned drinker's palate. For the average person, it probably wouldn't be an issue. It's important to be able to taste the flavor of the broth properly. With the recent rise in wheat prices, udon restaurants have started offering more luxurious lunch options. In this context, finding a place that maintains reasonable prices for lunch is a delight. And the taste is exceptional. After checking the restaurant's page on Tabelog, I found out that it had received a rating in the top 5000. No wonder it's delicious. I am extremely satisfied. Just one station away from Senri, this udon restaurant is outstanding. Definitely worth a visit! #Fukuchan'sNoodleDiary #EngelCoefficientover90percent #DedicatedtothePathofaSakeLover #WanttoConnectwithSakeLovers #WanttoConnectwithStandingBarEnthusiasts #WanttoConnectwithSakeEnthusiasts #WanttoConnectwithIzakayaLovers #WanttoConnectwithGourmetEnthusiasts #WanttoConnectwithThoseWhoLoveGoodFood #WanttoConnectwithDaytimeDrinkers #WanttoConnectwithThoseWhoLoveDeliciousFood #TeuchiUdonKoya #ChickenandEggTempuraUdon #MayitbeofSomeHelpToSomeone #OnlyPostAboutDeliciousPlaces #IfYouAreInterestedDefinitelyGo #TeuchiUdon #UdonisADrinkforFoodLovers #OsakaGourmet #OsakaUdon #MoriguchiGourmet #Menstagram #Noodlestagram #TakiiUdon #MoriguchiUdon #OsakaLunch

Hello! This is Ramen Walking❗️ Today is Udon Day - I visited the hand-made Udon restaurant Koya in Takai and tried their "Chicken Tempura Bukkake" dish. The restaurant is located near Takai station, which has many famous Udon shops, making it a great spot for foodies! I arrived at 19:50 and there was no wait. There were 4 customers inside. I ordered the "Chicken Tempura Bukkake" for 1,050 yen, which was announced as a popular item on the message board. The noodles were freshly cut using a noodle-making machine next to the counter after I placed my order, and it took about 15 minutes for the dish to be served. The noodles were chewy and elastic, like gummy noodles, and went well with the broth. The tempura toppings, including chikuwa tempura and chicken tempura, were crispy and flavorful. Overall, I was satisfied with the portion size and enjoyed the meal. Thank you, Koya, for the delicious meal! Today's steps: 10,952 steps, Calories burned: 404 kcal.

After visiting Tsurumi Green Park, we headed to the famous Dancing Udon main store for lunch, but ended up at this place first. We checked that this place is also a well-known 100-seat restaurant, so we decided to go in without hesitation, even though there was a long line at the Dancing Udon store. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Udon with soy sauce for 990 yen, and added extra noodles for 250 yen. If it's your first time, you have to try the Chicken Tempura. I had the option of getting it with broth or as a dry noodle dish, and I chose the soy sauce version. The udon that arrived was shining and had a nice chewy texture. The noodles were firm but still had a nice bounce to them. The tempura was big and crispy, and the chicken was delicious. I added the soy sauce gradually and ended up using about half of it. Overall, it was a delicious bowl of udon.

Handmade Udon at Momoguchi City, Red House, is a popular restaurant with a sticker of "Top 100 Stores," "Today's Top 3," "Magic Restaurant," and "Gourmet Hideaway." When looking at the menu, I noticed a warning saying, "It's really spicy, so please don't order if you can't handle it. If you really want it, please eat at your own risk." As someone who loves spicy food, I decided to try the Super Spicy Keema Curry Udon for 1280 yen. The noodles were firm yet soft and delicious. When mixed with the Keema Curry, it was incredibly spicy, but also very tasty. The spiciness was intense, but addictive. The sweetness of the pumpkin tempura and onion tempura paired perfectly with the heat. It was a mouth-numbing experience, but I loved it. My companion ordered the most popular dish, Chicken Tempura Udon for 990 yen. The noodles were beautiful, and the chicken tempura looked delicious. It was a gentle and tasty dish. We also tried the limited-time Oyster Tempura topping, which was made with plump and perfectly fried oysters. There are many other udon and rice bowl options on the menu that I want to try. I will definitely be back for more.

Chicken Tempura Curry Udon - Prices start at 1100 yen.
Situation - Visited around 12:00 on a Saturday. Entered the restaurant 15 minutes later.
Couples Point - If you order 2, you can share. Both table and counter seats available.
Taste - The smell of curry made me even hungrier when the dish arrived. The curry udon was reliably good. I may not have a refined palate, but I couldn't tell the difference from other places. The chicken tempura was crispy and juicy, no complaints there.
This place is known for their delicious soy sauce-based dipping noodles. I'll have to try one of those next time.
Other - Restroom available.

The cold weather made me crave some hot udon noodles for lunch! Osaka is known for its udon culture and dashi (broth) culture, so I prefer simple and warm udon over fancy ones. I visited a popular udon shop in Moriguchi City called "Teuchi Udon Koya," known for its red curtain at the entrance. They have a noodle-making machine right at the entrance, which was a unique sight for me. I ordered the Chicken Tempura Udon, which was a blend of Sanuki and Osaka styles. The light dashi broth was delicious, and the udon noodles were thin, smooth, chewy, and springy. The chicken tempura was crispy and flavorful. Overall, the udon was one of the best I've had in Osaka, and I highly recommend it. The area around the shop is filled with other popular udon and ramen shops, making it a great spot for lunch.

I came to Takii Station in Moriguchi City, a fierce battleground for udon. When it comes to udon in Takii, the first thing that comes to mind is the dancing udon, but this time I went to a shop that doesn't have dancing udon. Handmade Udon Beniya. Although it is currently not listed in the top 100 udon shops, it has been selected twice in the past, so I was able to get a seat just before it was about to become full. I ordered the popular curry udon. Wagyu Beef Curry Udon 1000 yen. I was tempted by the legendary super spicy keema curry udon, but there was a sign saying "Please do not order if you can't handle the spiciness!" so I decided not to order it. However, the udon that came out had a very appetizing appearance with plenty of beef and green onions on top. Let's dig in! The udon has a nice firmness and elasticity that I really like. The curry has a genuine flavor with the umami of wagyu beef and the kick of spices, making it really delicious. This shop makes its udon from scratch and does not pre-make them, so it takes a little time from ordering to completion, but it's worth the wait for such delicious udon. Despite the high cost of ingredients, they seem to be keeping prices the same. I really want to support such shops. Thank you for the meal.

It is located just a short walk west of Takii Station on the Keihan Main Line. Upon entering the shop, there are six counter seats, two two-person table seats, and two four-person table seats. I had the chicken tempura bukkake udon here. After a short wait, the udon was brought out. On top of the udon were chicken tempura, fish cake tempura, and daikon radish. Green onions and grated daikon radish were provided on a separate plate as condiments. Let's pour the bukkake broth over it and enjoy. The udon was firm and had a good chewy texture, with a pleasant wheat flavor. The bukkake broth had a strong bonito flavor, giving it a refreshing taste. The chicken tempura was crispy with a flavorful interior, and the fish cake tempura was large and satisfying to eat. Next time, I would like to try their warm udon dishes like curry udon. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the udon here is delicious, so I went after my massage. I ordered the Chikuwa Tempura Udon and Tori Tempura Udon, which came with Tamago Tempura on top. It was a luxurious and high-energy udon, and I even added a mini Tempura Don for extra enjoyment! The udon noodles were slightly thin, but had a good firmness and a smooth texture that was delicious. The mini Tempura Don was also generous in ingredients and had a satisfying amount. I can see why this place is popular. I'm curious about the Curry Udon for next time.

I visited this place after seeing the reviews because I love chewy udon noodles. Oh my goodness, I love the udon here. It's chewy, the dipping sauce is delicious, and the tempura is also tasty. Writing this review makes me want to go back again.

Today's udon^o^
Last time I came, they were temporarily closed, so this is my revenge visit.
The most popular dish, Chicken Tempura Udon with Egg, for 940 yen, was delicious. The chicken tempura and egg tempura were both really good. Mixing the egg yolk with the udon was the best part.
The udon noodles were firm and had a sharp edge. The broth was also delicious.
Having the green onions and grated radish served separately was a nice touch.
It was very delicious. I will definitely come back again.
Thank you for the meal.

I visited a top 5000 restaurant for lunch around 11:00, but had to wait until it opened. I took a walk around the neighborhood and returned around 11:25, but there was no one there. I sat on a chair and waited until 11:30 when I entered. I sat at the counter in the back and ordered the popular Chicken Tempura Curry Udon as advertised. The curry soup was decent, the udon was easy to eat, and the thinly sliced chicken tempura was delicious. It truly lived up to being a top 5000 restaurant. However, there weren't many customers. I was the only one there. Is the influence of food review websites like Tabelog really that significant? There is another top 5000 udon restaurant nearby, and when I visited, it was quite crowded. I paid 990 yen in cash and headed back home.

Today I went to Kurenaiya. Unfortunately, when I tried to go to Ue wo Muite-san, I found out that it was closed for its irregular monthly holiday. I checked both Tabelog and Google beforehand, so it was disappointing. But when I said it was closed, I was actually mistaken as Kurenaiya was open. I decided to go back to Takii Station along the Keihan Electric Railway line. It took about 20 minutes by train to reach Takii Station. When I got off the station, I saw that the restaurant was open. I arrived at the restaurant just before noon, and there were only two seats available at the counter as it was almost full. I ordered the popular menu item, the chicken tempura cold noodles. There was a sign in the restaurant saying that they cook the noodles after receiving the order, so it may take some time. I didn't mind waiting, so I sat down and waited for about 30 minutes. The udon finally arrived! The chicken tempura cold noodles had a unique slippery and chewy texture. It was a different kind of chewy udon compared to the neighboring Odoru Udon. The noodles were smooth and stretchy, with a slightly melted mochi-like texture. The cooking time may be long, but the deliciousness is guaranteed. The tempura chikuwa and chicken tempura were also delicious, but I think the main purpose of coming here is to enjoy the homemade noodles. If you're not a regular customer like me, I recommend getting the large portion of udon. The udon here is delicious. I would like to try comparing the chewy udon with the neighboring Odoru Udon. Thank you for the meal.

There are many popular udon shops near Takii Station. I tried the Chicken Tempura Udon for 940 yen, which came with two pieces of chicken tempura and a quail egg. The Ume (plum) Udon for 980 yen was also delicious, with plum, enoki mushrooms, and Kishu Nanko plums. The noodles had a good texture and thickness, softer than Sanuki udon. The plum udon was unique and tasty. I noticed several notes posted, such as one bowl per person, no entry for children under elementary school age, no lingering, and no small change like 1 yen or 5 yen.

I felt like having Red House's udon for the first time in a while, so I decided to revisit. The menu offers a variety of options, including warm udon with a rich broth, popular curry udon, and also cold udon. I always end up ordering curry udon, so this time I wanted to try something different. I ordered the chicken tempura udon with two large chikuwa tempura and cute flower-shaped fu. The udon is served in a black bowl, but the clear broth looks delicious. The handmade udon is slightly soft, with a unique texture that's hard to describe. The shop is popular among locals, with many regular customers and a welcoming atmosphere. The combination of the soft and crunchy textures, along with the flavorful broth, makes for a satisfying meal. I've only tried warm and curry udon so far, so I'm curious how the texture of cold udon would be different. I definitely want to try the cold udon next time.

It is located just a short walk from Takii Station. In this area, there are renowned udon and ramen shops, making it quite a competitive area considering the size of the station. The interior of the restaurant seems to have been renovated and looks clean. There are a few seats at the counter and several table seats. I tried the shrimp tempura kitsune udon. The gentle soup with plump shrimp was delicious. The tempura in general was tasty. You could easily devour five pieces of the chicken tempura. This restaurant gives the impression that their other side dishes and rice bowls are also delicious. The service is very friendly, making for a comfortable dining experience.

I came close to work, so on a cold day, I decided to have udon for lunch. I had been wanting to go there for a while, so my expectations were high. There was a sign at the entrance saying "No children allowed." Maybe it's because children might not finish their food or it might lower the average spending per customer, and it's also extra work with plates and water, so I guess it can't be helped. On the menu cover, it said they do not accept payment with 1 yen or 5 yen coins. I wonder if something happened to prompt that. After much deliberation, I ordered the shrimp tempura kitsune udon. Maybe I had set my expectations too high, but it was just a regular delicious udon. However, the wait time of a little over 30 minutes was a bit long for lunch.
