I had a spicy miso ramen. It was rich with a balance of spiciness and the unique sweetness of miso. The noodles were thick and chewy, holding up well to the rich soup. The char siu was tender and practically melted in my mouth. It was delicious.

On the way back from the hospital, we stopped by the usual Ion Katsuragi store and discussed what to have for lunch. My daughter said she wanted to eat ramen. Even though there are Gyoza no Ohsho and Ajino Tokeitai nearby, my daughter chose the ramen at Food Court, maybe because she likes the lively atmosphere there, or perhaps she sensed our budget constraints (laughs). Normally, she would go for soy sauce ramen, but she was drawn to the sign for "Vegetable Ramen" and the words "Lots of vegetables, 500 grams!" underneath it. I was intrigued by the idea, so I ordered it for fun. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the buzzer rang, and my daughter went to pick up the order. When she returned, her eyes widened and she exclaimed, "Mom, there are so many vegetables!" I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction. The bowl was filled with diced cabbage and bean sprouts piled high, but I failed to capture it well in the photo. She even transferred the vegetables to a smaller bowl because they were overflowing, but I forgot to take a picture of that too. We were both laughing while trying to finish all the vegetables. It was a ramen with only vegetables, no egg or chashu, truly a vegetable feast. We joked that maybe the chahan (fried rice) would have been a better choice if the price was the same. We had a fun lunchtime chatting and enjoying the meal. There were quite a few customers, but there were no food log posts here, so I decided to share our experience.
