There's a stylish restaurant in front of Saikyo Station! It's a Western-style restaurant that focuses on ingredients from Kyotanba. I made a reservation for a la carte, but the variety of the menu was on the smaller side. However, the taste was delicious! There weren't any really unusual ingredients, but you can enjoy plenty of Kyotanba produce! Also, the Kyotanba wine was incredibly good! Even in the somewhat cluttered area south of Saikyo Station, the restaurant is clean, calm, and has a comfortable atmosphere.

I enjoyed a course meal featuring delicious vegetables and meat from Tanba. For the finale, I ordered the wasabi rice, which had a hint of sweetness and paired wonderfully with the grape ponzu sauce and bonito flakes. The restaurant's exclusive Tanba wine had a rich flavor that complemented the meal perfectly! They also serve grape juice, so even those who can't drink alcohol can fully enjoy the course. Although I had already had dessert, I couldn't resist trying the limited edition tiramisu parfait, which is available in only five servings. As I savored the mascarpone cheese, the crunchy sweetness, made from meringue prepared in the restaurant, blended perfectly with the coffee jelly. The staff was incredibly kind, providing detailed explanations about the dishes, and the restaurant's atmosphere was calm, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time there.

The hamburger was meaty and delicious! It was served in a generous portion on a single plate, and both its appearance and taste were great. However, I made a reservation and would have preferred to sit on the second floor instead of the bustling first floor. If I had been on the second floor, I might have ordered additional coffee or something.

It's a small restaurant located down a narrow alley. I had been curious about it for a while, so I decided to visit during lunch time. The lunch menu features a plate full of vegetables, with the main options being hamburger, pork ginger, chicken nanban, or fish. They also had omu curry, so I chose that this time. The spices were well-balanced, and the combination of the slightly spicy curry and the fluffy, creamy egg was delicious.

I visited the restaurant for lunch just after 11:30, and while the place was bustling, I was able to get in without waiting. I was shown to a seat at the counter and looked over the menu. I decided on the "Seasonal Delicacies Lunch with Monthly Changing Dishes" (1,550 yen) and chose the "Kyotanba Beef Hamburger" from the four main menu options. I requested to change my white rice to "Mixed Grain Rice" (+50 yen). When my order arrived on a wooden tray, it was beautifully presented with the hamburger, salad, and an array of side dishes, along with the mixed grain rice, miso soup, and a small dessert. The salad and side dishes were generously filled with vegetables, and each element showcased the quality of the ingredients. The mixed grain rice had a nice texture, and although the hamburger wasn't overflowing with juice, I could taste the moist and rich flavor of the Kyotanba beef. The thick, savory demi-glace sauce paired excellently with it, making for a delicious meal. The dish left a healthy impression with its abundance of vegetables, allowing me to enjoy the meat hamburger without any guilt, and I was reminded of the deliciousness of fresh vegetables. Overall, it was a delightful lunch!

Old wallets can be burned here, and you can receive a financial luck talisman.) ★Location: Just a short walk from Hankyu "Nishiin" and Randen "Nishiin". There is a sign along Sai Road. ★Atmosphere: Cozy with two floors (1F and 2F). ★Menu: Limited to 5 dishes - Stone-Baked Curry Set for 1,550 yen (including tax). Delicious! Uses ingredients from Tanba. I was impressed by the texture of the beef in the salad. The curry contains visibly large pieces of beef tendon! They also serve Tanba black soybean tea.

When I visited my friend's house, they took me to a place that served one-bite-sized side dishes and a main dish of chicken nanban, all of which were delicious and left me very satisfied. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and if it were nearby, I would want to go there often. The curry also looked really delicious... actually, my friend said it was tasty.

I went to Kito in Saiin for lunch. You can choose your main dish from options like hamburger, chicken nanban, pork ginger, or fried mackerel. Along with the main dish, a variety of vegetable-rich deli-style side dishes are served. You can also upgrade to multigrain rice for an additional 50 yen. A small dessert is included as well, making it a very feminine lunch option.

I had a lunch where I could choose my main dish. Since there were four of us, we ordered different items: hamburger, chicken nanban, pork sauté, and today's special fish lunch, and we enjoyed sharing a little bit of everything. You can get a large serving of rice for an extra 50 yen, or switch to multigrain rice for the same price. (I went for the multigrain rice!) The portion size is probably satisfying for women, but it might feel a bit lacking for men. Overall, the dishes had a slightly stronger seasoning, which made the rice go well with them! The dessert, black bean kinako ice cream, was also very delicious!

Overall, the portions are small, so it might be a restaurant more suited for women. I was full, but my husband said he was only about 40% full. The vegetables were delicious, especially the radishes! I took a big bite of a raw radish, and it made a nice sound! It seems they also offer course meals in the evening, which I'm curious about. Maybe I'll come here with my daughter next time.

There’s a bistro near Saiin. Perhaps because it was a weekday lunch, most of the customers were dining alone, including me. I ordered the weekday-only lunch: the Smart Lunch, which is priced at 1,050 yen and includes a choice of one of four main dishes, salad, rice, miso soup, and black soybean tea. The meal was packed with plenty of vegetables from Kyotanba! However, the portion might be a bit small for men. I recommend adding the eight types of side dishes.

I happened to have an opportunity to visit Saiin and found a place for lunch nearby. This area used to be one I frequented, and it has now become a trendy spot with a stylish atmosphere. I had the Tanba black chicken chicken nanban lunch. The plate was surrounded by a lot of vegetables, making it almost too stylish for an old guy like me, but I was very satisfied with the taste. It might be a bit tough for a couple of guys, but I think it would be a great hidden spot for women or for a date.

I was curious about a newly opened restaurant, and it had a stylish atmosphere despite being small. I chose the hamburger from the lunch menu, and it came with beautifully arranged side dishes. The red turnip was fresh, juicy, and deliciously sweet. The greens had no strong flavor, making them easy to eat. It was a pleasure to encounter such tasty turnips again after a long time. The hamburger was also quite tasty. When I was paying, I noticed they were selling red turnips, and I debated whether to buy some, but I decided against it since I had other places to go. Looking back, I wish I had bought them. I would definitely like to visit this place again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I visited Kito, which opened in Saiin in March, for lunch. This restaurant focuses on ingredients from Kyotanba. I heard that the lunch service is quite popular, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived, the place was nearly full, but there was one table available on the second floor, so I was able to get in. I chose the monthly special "Deli-style" lunch featuring the Kyotanba beef hamburger, priced at 1550 yen including tax. The meal started with black soybean tea. The presentation of the main dish was very beautiful, and the plating was on point. The flavor of the hamburger was meaty and well-seasoned. The vegetables and the "obanzai" (traditional Japanese side dishes) were also delicious. It’s clear that they are quite particular about their ingredients, and the cooking quality was high. However, the portion sizes were a bit small. Everything was on the smaller side, which might not be enough for men. I think it would be fine for women or those with smaller appetites. The restaurant has a very stylish ambiance, making it perfect for gatherings among friends. I would love to try their teppanyaki dinner someday to see what they have to offer. Regarding payment, they accept various methods. If you’re curious, I recommend paying them a visit!

The restaurant used to be a teppanyaki place, but now it has a casual teppanyaki French vibe. On that day, I ordered: ✔︎ Teppanyaki of Tamba black chicken with mustard sauce ✔︎ Sautéed new onions with firefly squid sauce ✔︎ Garlic fried rice ✔︎ Sautéed Tamba-grown hatakeshimeji mushrooms ✔︎ Fried asparagus and prosciutto wrapped in cheddar cheese ✔︎ Tamba pork sausage ✔︎ Teppanyaki of thick-cut pork tongue with homemade rapé This restaurant mainly uses local ingredients from Kyoto and Tamba. The meat was juicy, and the vegetables had a natural sweetness, making everything delicious. Luckily, it was not crowded, so we were able to sit at a table right in front of the teppanyaki grill, which added to the lively atmosphere. Since we don't like ponzu sauce, we ordered regular garlic fried rice, but the restaurant’s actual recommendation is GBP fried rice, which is garlic fried rice with grape ponzu sauce. They also seem to offer lunch, so I’d like to visit again for that next time!

I visited after watching "Kotatsuhan" on YouTube. I enjoyed the Kito salad, black-haired wagyu tagliata, and beef cutlet, all of which were delicious with exquisite sauces. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff's service were also great, and I definitely want to stop by again for lunch.
