I visited this restaurant for the first time as a second party of a drinking party. This place specializes in horse meat dishes, offering various cuts to choose from. This time, I tried a platter of three types of horse meat and some with wasabi on top, both of which were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

We were a group of 6 people who visited this restaurant. Two days before our reservation date, we received a phone call informing us about the increasing number of cancellations due to the spread of COVID-19, and suggesting to cancel without incurring any fees. On the day of our reservation, we had to change the time due to a delay in our schedule, but we were able to do so without any issues. The restaurant had a stylish dining bar atmosphere, and we tried various horse meat dishes that we had never eaten before. We had originally thought "as long as we can try horse sashimi, it's fine," but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes in the course menu. Although the price was somewhat high, the content was more than satisfying. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely visit this restaurant again!

During my trip to Asahikawa, I had trouble finding a restaurant but finally stumbled upon this place! It was a horse meat specialty restaurant with a stylish interior and intriguing dishes. Among them, the rare horse meat cutlet was absolutely delicious! I had never seen anything like it before, so it became a wonderful memory for me!＼(^o^)／

Visited on August 15, 2019. After enjoying delicious sushi, our second stop of the day was Sakura Sama. We found this restaurant in an information magazine at our hotel and decided to check it out. We arrived around 8:10 PM. There were four customers at the counter and one couple sitting at a table. We ordered: - Red and white horse meat sashimi (thigh and corned) for 980 yen - Szechuan-style horse meat tofu for 1100 yen - Anchovy potato with Inca's awakening for 880 yen - Rice - Malt mustard dream for 700 yen - Ginger ale for 480 yen - Pink grapefruit juice for 480 yen We were served a cold carrot and orange soup as an appetizer. It was refreshing and delicious. The red and white horse meat sashimi was recommended to be eaten with black sugar soy sauce or sashimi soy sauce, and we followed the recommendation and enjoyed it. The Szechuan-style horse meat tofu was filled with a lot of prickly ash, giving it a unique flavor. The anchovy potato had a scent similar to peppercino and the sweet and fluffy potatoes were very tasty. The dishes were delicious, but we found the drinks to be a bit expensive. As we left, the staff kindly saw us off, and when we mentioned we found the restaurant in the hotel's information magazine, they seemed pleased. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I love game meat. A horse meat specialty store is very appealing. ✲Atmosphere & Service✲ The interior, mainly in black, has a chic and calming atmosphere. However, it is not intimidating and you can visit in a casual mood. The service was friendly and attentive. ✲Food✲ I'm not sure about the quality of horse meat, but it was tender without any unpleasant smell. I tried various cuts and was satisfied. Salads and side dishes also used horse meat, which was fresh and enjoyable. Most of all, they had a wide variety of alcohol, especially wine. I thought horse sashimi would go well with sake, but the extensive wine list and descriptions highlighted the great pairing of horse sashimi and wine (of course, they also have sake and shochu). The horse meat paired with wine according to my preference was fantastic. ✲Summary✲ I already like exotic foods, and the wide selection of alcohol made it fun. The prices are not cheap, so I would like to go for a treat for myself or on a special occasion.

I was interested in this restaurant that was introduced on Team NACS's program before. There are horseshoes on the walls inside the store! It's less assertive compared to the regular Hououbita that I've had before. ◆Otoshi 650 yen (150 yen extra after 10 PM) Vichyssoise. It has a strong cheese flavor and is delicious♪ ◆Red and White Horse Sashimi 980 yen Assorted cuts of lean meat and fatty tuna. I prefer this combination over just fatty tuna. The lean meat without any strong taste combined with the rich fattiness of the tuna is delicious♬ Served with regular soy sauce and Kyushu soy sauce. Definitely, the rich Kyushu soy sauce goes well with it! ◆Cheese Assortment 1380 yen The blue cheese is delicious♪ It doesn't have a strong taste, but I also like Mimolette♡ Adding more sake! ◆Asahi Koshu Directly Pressed Special Junmai 780 yen This one is delicious♪ It has a juicy sweetness that I like! I think it's time to go for a fruit cocktail to replenish some vitamins♬

Asahikawa's horse sashimi izakaya!! When it comes to horse sashimi, this is the place to go!! The horse sashimi is delicious, but be cautious when hungry as the speed of food service is quite slow. ⚠️

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing, making me very satisfied. I rated it 3.5 stars for this one visit, but I believe the rating would go up with more visits. It was a bit pricey for me, so it might be a while before I can go again.

The location is hard to find and all the prices are too high! I wish I could go there more casually...

I probably won't go there again... all the flavors were too strong... The horse sashimi was delicious though. It's a shame because the attitude of the manager or owner towards the staff made me feel uncomfortable... Disappointing...
