This izakaya is just a one-minute walk from Tenma Station, with a big lantern as a landmark. It’s reassuring for those rushing for the last train or enjoying drinks until tipsy, as the station is right in front. The restaurant layout features a counter at the front and tables in the back, making it convenient for both small and larger groups. Personally, I recommend sitting at the counter, where the friendly staff are happy to share today’s specials, making for a great experience.
We started by ordering drinks and cheers! An ice-cold beverage is perfect for this season. The restaurant is known for its oden, made with broth extracted from clams. Just hearing “clam broth” made me excited, so I ordered the three kinds of oden. Alongside, I got a refreshing salad with tomato and grated daikon, which also sounded delicious.
The first orders arrived shortly after, and the service speed was excellent! The oden included daikon, fried tofu, and konnyaku—everyone’s favorites—and it looked fantastic with plenty of clams on top! The daikon was perfectly infused with the broth, making it very tasty. The fried tofu and konnyaku were also satisfyingly delicious. Enjoying the oden with clams was great for summer!
The tomato and grated daikon salad was another highlight! The refreshing, tangy dressing paired beautifully with the tomato and daikon, revitalizing my body, which was feeling the summer heat.
Next, we had a sashimi platter with tuna, yellowtail, and octopus. Each piece was fresh and succulent, making for a perfect drink companion! To wrap up the meal, I ordered their new summer dish—Taiwanese ramen. Having tried various Taiwanese ramen before, I must say that this one could easily stand as a specialty on its own. The spice level was just right, and the broth had a unique sweetness that I had never experienced before. It was so delicious that I could come here just to eat this ramen!
There are still many other tempting dishes, so I’ll definitely be returning! Everything was wonderful—thank you for the meal!

I had hot pot for the first time. The rich white broth pairs perfectly with the firm chicken! It's also great with ponzu sauce. I would have been satisfied with just the shellfish broth oden, but as it gets colder, hot pot will definitely become a must-have. Thank you for the delicious meal, including the final rice porridge!

Today, I was taken to this restaurant by someone I'm grateful to! We couldn't skip the French fries, and we ordered tataki (seared) chicken and grilled chicken as well! Is chicken their specialty? I hadn't really eaten shamo (a type of chicken) before, but it had a rich flavor that blended the deliciousness of the meat and the fat, creating a deep taste experience! They also had oden, so we ordered beef sinew and daikon radish! When it comes to oden, beef sinew and daikon are essential, right? The portions were quite generous, and although I forgot to take a picture, the daikon was infused with the broth and tasted great! Overall, I think there are a lot of delicious menu options, so I highly recommend checking it out ('ω')ノ Thank you for the meal!

At the izakaya located in Tenkakubashisuji shopping street, there's a counter and tables in the back. Here are some highlights from the menu:
- Akaboshi beer for 550 yen
- Seasonal returning bonito (katsuo) sashimi, price varies
- Oden (Japanese hot pot) with three kinds for 680 yen
- Grilled shamo chicken with salt for 1180 yen
- Black Nikka highball for 400 yen
- Garlic fried rice for 900 yen
The katsuo sashimi comes with a generous amount of ingredients like diced yam, onion, and garlic underneath, making it very delicious! The oden is notable for its shellfish broth, and it's definitely very good. The grilled shamo chicken comes with garlic on the side, which is right up my alley! The garlic fried rice, known as "nanchan" in Nagoya, is something quite rare in Kansai. Considering the price and taste, this place is fantastic! Thank you for the meal!*\(^o^)/*

I’ll be visiting this restaurant located right at the entrance of the shopping street from Tenma Station! It's in a prime location, so you'll be able to find it easily. This place specializes in chicken and shellfish dashi oden, and the menu is extensive, making it very user-friendly. The restaurant has a smoking area, which might make it perfect for the drinkers of Tenma. There are also table seats in the back, so it can accommodate groups! “Thank you for the meal.” If you liked this post, please give it a thumbs up! If you’d like to visit, save it for later. And if you’re curious about my next post, please follow me!

I had a fantastic course meal organized by the planner! It included: a selection of five types of broth-based oden, shrimp dumplings, chicken meatballs, chicken sashimi, the famous nameko (mushroom) dish, tomato and grated yam salad, the oden shop's dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette), tomato oden, lettuce with parmesan, steamed chicken, chicken paitan hot pot, followed by Chinese noodle for the finale, all with an additional 2-hour drink package. It was an incredibly valuable and special course with a variety of dishes! The service from the quick-witted owner was excellent. Thank you so much! ♡

I casually walked into the restaurant alone around 2 PM after work, feeling quite hungry. I sat at the counter, and there was a nice spacious feeling since they left a seat empty next to me. I ordered various dishes like octopus with miso vinegar, oden (thick fried tofu, egg, and shungiku), chicken wings, and namerou, along with a bottle of beer. Every dish was truly delicious, and you could tell the chef's skill and sense of presentation from the way the food was served. I also tried the oden dashi sake, which had a depth and a special feel similar to warm sake (hire-zake). It was several times easier to drink than hire-zake, and you could feel the chef's thoughtfulness and creativity in the menu. The cost-performance, service, and atmosphere were all great, and there are still many interesting menu items that I want to try, making me want to visit again casually. Thank you for the meal!

I am thinking of revisiting soon. It’s very convenient, just a one-minute walk from JR Temma Station. By the way, you can also smoke at your seat, which I think is great for smokers. The furthest back seat feels almost like a private room and can seat up to about 10 people. I also appreciate that the restroom is kept very clean.

At "Hanachōchin" near Tenma Station in Osaka, I had a dinner featuring chicken tataki and shellfish dashi oden (with beef tendon, grilled tofu, Lan Wang eggs, Kyoto-style noodles, and buttered potatoes). The shellfish dashi oden had clams and a gentle, delicious flavor. The chicken was succulent and tasty, making it easy to enjoy with a drink.

I visited this restaurant since there were seats available! The interior is clean, spacious, and comfortable. I enjoyed the oden, bonito sashimi, and doteyaki. The oden has a gentle broth that soothes after drinking. The bonito is fresh and incredibly delicious. The doteyaki is well-seasoned. I'll definitely come back to enjoy it at a leisurely pace.

The clam dashi oden had a gentle flavor that I’ve never experienced before! After having a little at the first place, I visited this spot as my second location, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat much, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating a lot! Even though I was already full when I had the chicken dashi nyumen at the end, I cleared my plate because it looked so beautifully presented and just looking at it made me feel that it would taste good! The restaurant has counter seating and tables in the back, creating a lively and bustling atmosphere. Both the owner and the staff were very approachable and kind. I just thought it would be even better if there were more varieties of imo shochu available. However, I definitely want to come back to this restaurant the next time I visit Tenma!

I visited this restaurant for the first time as we gathered in Temma. Everything looked delicious, but I specifically tried the oden, which was said to be particularly tasty. The rich shellfish broth had seeped deeply into the oden, and every ingredient was delicious. The mapo tofu, which is a secret menu item available only to regulars, was also spicy and incredibly good! There were many other dishes that caught my attention, so I'll need to come back several times to try them all!

I stopped by without a reservation, and even though it was a weekday, the place was almost full. I tried the shellfish broth oden for the first time, and it was delicious with a great shellfish flavor, rich in taste, and beautifully presented. The staff provided excellent attention and care, making it a very comfortable experience. I definitely want to visit again.

I visited this place for the third time. I really love oden, so I went straight for it. It was delicious! If I had been hungrier, I would have eaten more. The chicken neck (seseri) was also tasty, so I imagine the hot pot must be good too. Others around me were having seafood, and that looked delicious as well. I want to visit this restaurant first next time. The staff were attentive and observant, which was nice.

I saw "oden" and decided to go to a second place! The oden had a slightly sweet broth made with clams, and it was really flavorful and delicious! The restaurant was also very clean, and I couldn't believe it was in Tenma! I heard they have hot pots too, so I’m thinking of trying that next time! I'll definitely go back!

This was my first time trying clam dashi oden. It was perfect, especially since it was a cold day. The oden had a delicious broth that you could drink, and it paired well with pasta and udon. It was simply delicious. Plus, it was affordable and had a stylish atmosphere, and the staff were wonderful.

Near Tenmabashi Station (Tenshinyu) in the arcade to the east, there are counter seats lined up and tables in the back. The place has a high percentage of female patrons (especially on Sunday afternoons, like groups of six women). It has a vibe of a yakitori restaurant, but when I asked if they have chicken thigh, they responded, "We specialize in shamo (Japanese gamecock)!" So, I decided to place some random orders. The dashi-maki (Japanese omelet) was delicious, and both the new noodles with crispy bits and the crispy rice topped with egg were really good. The flavor of the new noodles and the fried rice, whether chicken or shamo, was superbly rich.

I visited Hanachouchin, a large lantern-marked restaurant located right near Temma Station. This place is famous for its chicken hot pot and shellfish broth oden. Since I was planning to do a bar crawl that day, I only had a light appetizer and some oden. The chilled kokubura (pork intestines) with garlic soy sauce had a strong punch and paired well with beer. The shellfish broth oden was delicious with a rich flavor. Prices felt a bit high compared to the surroundings, but that's probably because other places around Temma Station are quite cheap. Thank you for the meal!

Shamo Chicken and Shellfish Dashi Oden #Hanachochin [#Temma] - Oden Five Variety Platter - Blanched Shamo Chicken ===== One minute walk from Temma Station. The large lantern is a landmark! We came to this newly opened restaurant last December as the third stop on our Temma bar-hopping tour, and even at 9:00 PM, the place was buzzing with customers, showing no signs of winding down! We managed to secure a table just for ourselves✨ I had heard that the Taiwanese ramen here is exceptional, but it seems they’ve stopped serving it… what a shame. The rich umami of the Shamo chicken combined with the delicious broth made from refined shellfish dashi creates a gentle, comforting flavor in the oden✨✨ It’s the perfect menu item for this season, warming and soothing! ===== Restaurant info: @hanachyochin.164 For more food content, check out @fksnvc here~✴️ #Oden #ShamoChicken #Izakaya #OsakaIzakaya #JapaneseCuisine #Shellfish #ReservationRequired #TemmaGourmet #TemmaDinner #OsakaGourmet #OsakaDinner #OsakaTenmanguGourmet #Osaka #JapaneseFood #JapaneseRestaurant #JapaneseCulture #Washoku #Sake #OsakaGourmet #Osaka ==========

The new year party was incredibly delicious, and I was curious about how the shellfish broth would taste since it was my first visit. Personally, I found it much better than regular oden. The flavor of the shellfish was wonderfully strong in every dish, which was fantastic. I can't wait to go back when it gets cooler. It's just a short walk from Tenma Station!

This is a bustling tavern that opened last December in the gourmet hotspot of Tenma, featuring chicken hot pot and shellfish broth oden as its signature dishes. The shellfish broth oden has a variety of offerings, including homemade fish cakes, and there are also western-style versions with ingredients like lettuce and maitake mushrooms topped with Parmesan cheese. In addition to the chicken hot pot, there are also plenty of local chicken dishes, such as fried chicken and parboiled chicken. The restaurant opens at 3 PM on weekdays and at 1 PM on weekends and holidays, making it a great spot for daytime drinking too (>ω<). Here’s what I ordered:
■ Oden Three-Item Set (580 yen)
The oden, featuring daikon radish, thick fried tofu, and konjac, was infused with the delicious flavor of the clam broth—it was so good that I drank the broth to the last drop.
■ Grilled Chicken (salt) (900 yen)
The grilled chicken had a wonderful texture and flavor, and the simple salt seasoning really brought out its best qualities. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
