I hosted a training session to relaunch our Kansai team, which I have been a part of for 15 years, and we visited with 15 members. We enjoyed a range of different dishes while ordering from a reasonably priced all-you-can-drink menu. We tried some unusual dishes, and in the end, we moved on to our pride and joy, sushi. Thank you for the meal!

It was a very easy-to-find location close to the station. The sushi's taste was excellent and very fresh. They also offered wasabi separately, which was great. The food was served quickly, and I couldn't wait long. Especially the tempura was piping hot, and I ordered the assortment four times!

I visited a sushi izakaya celebrating its 7th anniversary, located a short walk from Minamimorimachi Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line, in the North Ward of Osaka. It was a Sunday at 7:00 PM and the place was lively with about 80% of the seats filled.
- Premium Cut: 1,280 yen
- Adult-Only Potato Salad: 490 yen
- Dashi-Simmered Rolled Omelet: 490 yen
- Thick Cut Bluefin Tuna Otoro Salt-Seared: 390 yen
Before the sushi, I noticed they had a variety of izakaya-style dishes, including many unique options. The potato salad allowed me to mix in salted cod, which made it perfect for drinking, and the rolled omelet was generously filled with dashi broth, adding a fun touch to both its presentation and taste.
The sushi featured red vinegar rice, which was flavorful and paired well with drinks. I was intrigued by the name and picture of the "Thick Cut Bluefin Tuna Otoro Salt-Seared," but it looked a bit different than I expected. Nonetheless, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal! #Sushi #Izakaya #Minamimorimachi #OsakaNorthWard #Osaka

I nearly tried the entire menu for the 7th anniversary event! The potato salad was truly generous in volume! The namerou was amusing because it had "7" represented in the price. I also enjoyed some Dassai and was generally satisfied. It would be perfect if the drinks were just a little cheaper, but I'm curious about the menu after the anniversary event, so I will definitely come back.

I saw the sign for the 7th anniversary celebration, which made me want to visit for the first time. I noticed that other locations in Shinsaibashi also had the same anniversary posters, so it looks like it's a company-wide event. We started with a toast using Dassai sake, and I loved how generously it was poured. The grilled fatty tuna was delicious! I could eat as much as I wanted, but since it was a special occasion, I decided to try the anniversary-priced items first. All of them were recommended menu items, so there were no misses. A friend told me that lunch is also great here, so I plan to visit for a daytime drink next time.

Around 9 PM, I wanted to have a casual drink in Minami-Morimachi and headed to my favorite place, only to find it was closed for the day. So, I randomly decided to stop by this charming restaurant that caught my eye with its appealing facade. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! The prices were reasonable, the restaurant was clean, and every dish exceeded my expectations in taste. The counter seating made it very easy for a woman dining alone to feel comfortable. The portions were a bit small, but that only heightened my overall satisfaction relative to the price. Starting with the ajillo followed by the mixed noodles was a great choice! I was a little disappointed that the noodles arrived before the ajillo, though! This place is perfect for grabbing a bite with work colleagues, casual gatherings with friends, or even just stopping by alone. It’s a very convenient spot that I definitely want to visit again.

This is my personal impression. A few friends and I stopped by for a pre-drink gathering before the main drinking event. We decided to order a dish — a red clam and cucumber roll styled like a Korean chanja (who ordered that?). The menu labeled it as "nibbles roll," and there were no objections (laughs). While looking through the menu, I noticed there were many sushi options, making me want to have sushi next time. There were also plenty of izakaya-style dishes, so I think it's a great place to visit with a group. It's conveniently located near JR Temma and the subway station at Ogimachi, right in the heart of the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street. I feel that having izakaya items in a sushi-dominated area meets a real need. As it was time to move on, we wrapped things up and settled the bill before heading to the next place. Thank you for the meal!

I visited for lunch on a day off. Instead of a lunch set, I ordered what I wanted ^ ^ The triggerfish and salt sea urchin were both very delicious. Also, the red miso soup with aonori (seaweed) was tasty too. There were quite a few customers dining alone, so it's a very easy place to visit by yourself ^ ^

I had planned to visit a nearby restaurant, but it was closed for Obon, so I ended up at this place instead. This was my first visit, and since there were two of us, we were shown to the counter. Naturally, we started with some beer. For our appetizer, we ordered a sashimi platter, which included tuna, shrimp, squid, and salmon. It was beautifully presented, and the taste was quite ordinary yet enjoyable. After that, we had dashi-made rolled egg, fried sardines, and a peculiar dish featuring a rice cracker topped with eel and tempura crumbs. We enjoyed that as well. To finish off our meal, we ordered a special selection of nigiri sushi, and all of it was delicious. The highlight was definitely the toro, which had just the right amount of fat and was incredibly tasty.

The location is near the second block of Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, close to Hanjotei. I decided to go watch a rakugo performance and then head to a bar, walking through the shopping street to this restaurant. It wasn't very crowded at that time, so I was quickly seated at the counter. I ordered a beer as my first drink, along with tuna with yamakake (grated yam). After that was served, I placed the rest of my orders using a QR code on my smartphone. The store's appearance and interior were neat and clean, giving a good impression. I ordered the tanuki yakko (tofu topped with a savory sauce), which was generously drenched in sauce. While I enjoy cold tofu with green onions, ginger, and soy sauce, this tanuki yakko pairs well with the beer too. I then ordered some grilled squid skewers along with a second beer. The squid had just the right amount of chewiness.

I decided to enjoy some daytime drinking and randomly walked in! Ah! I've been to the Ohatsu Tenjin and Kyobashi locations before! Now I've conquered all three stores at the Minamimori-cho location ( *´艸`). I casually ordered cucumber sticks, shrimp shumai, crab cream croquettes, and more. The shrimp shumai had the shrimp on top instead of inside! For the finale, I went with a lunch set that had sushi. It was much better than I expected! The highball was also on a campaign for 200 yen, but it wasn't watered down, which was great! I'd love to try the limited edition funamori lunch next time (^^).

My daughter, who lives alone in Kyoto, just finished a month-long on-site training, so she suggested we go out for dinner. She requested sushi, so I visited her. During high school, we often went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant near our home, and when she became a university student, we went to nice sushi places for a little social experience, but this type of restaurant was new for us. While listening to her talk about her boyfriend, we enjoyed a lot of delicious sushi. It was really tasty.

Recently, I've been seeing a lot of chain restaurants. I thought I'd give one a try since it's said to be quite tasty. First of all, it's inexpensive, and the taste isn't bad at all. The interior is bright and quite pleasant. The sake was surprisingly decent too. I went in feeling just a bit hungry, but the menu was so well-presented that I ended up ordering several dishes, which resulted in a somewhat higher bill. However, overall, the cost performance is quite good.

Near Osaka Tenmangu, there's a sushi izakaya that is part of the Sushiro group. Even though it's a sushi restaurant, they also have shumai and other izakaya-style menu items. I ordered a variety of dishes, and I was surprised when the shrimp shumai came out looking like shrimp nigiri. Most of the items I ordered were delicious. I ended up feeling full and decided to stick to just sushi rolls, but I was very satisfied.

After a seminar held by a group I've been part of for 20 years, I went out for dinner with a visiting speaker who came from afar and the dedicated staff who always work hard. We visited a casual dining spot run by a well-known sushi chain, and I have to say the fish was delicious, the sushi was tasty, and the izakaya menu was also great. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't have any alcohol since I came by car.

I ordered a special tempura set for lunch. It wasn't cheap, but the ingredients were fresh, the portion was generous, and it was delicious. I also ordered beer and ankimo, and I was very satisfied! The ankimo was grilled and paired wonderfully with the ponzu jelly. Enjoying the beer made the experience even more satisfying!

I visited for the first time. It's a sushi izakaya from the Sushiro chain. While it has many items that aren't typical conveyor belt sushi, you can still fully enjoy sushi here. Due to its location, there are many tourists as well. The prices are relatively reasonable. If you're looking for a place that's different from conveyor belt sushi, this could be a good option. Thank you for the meal!

Is this part of the Sushiro chain? I’ve noticed it has a line, but I was able to enter without waiting since it was just past lunchtime! The sushi plates are around 300 to 500 yen each. They have many unique toppings, and I felt it offered great value for the price. It seems like a nice place to go on a date as well.

I visited a restaurant for lunch at 12:20, and it was about 80% full when I arrived. I ordered the sweet and sour pork set for 1,350 yen. This was my first visit to a place I've been curious about. For lunch, they offer rice bowl dishes starting at 990 yen. I chose the tempura sushi set, which was quite delicious. Both the sushi and the tempura were tasty. However, I feel that the prices are a bit high for salarymen. Still, considering the quality, it's understandable.

It's an izakaya where you can enjoy various foods like sushi and ramen, along with sake. The interior has counter seating, making it easy to visit even if you're alone. I tried toro-taku, salmon, and the sake named "Sugitama," which is also the name of the restaurant. It was my first time drinking Sugitama, and I found it very smooth and easy to drink, so I ended up having more!
