"WDC Waffle Shop" serves Belgian waffles. A foreigner was running the shop when I visited Kiloro. I came on a Friday and found that the toll on weekdays was expensive, so I got off at Fukagawa and visited Rain Dragon and two other cities, which made me late. It was my first time there, but my wife had been there before for a maple leaf viewing event. The waffle was cheap and I didn't bother with toppings, so I ended up having a hot dog waffle. It was surprisingly tasty, as the waffle batter itself was delicious. Although it wasn't anything extraordinary, it was better than the cheap sausage. When entering the Mountain Center, I was greeted by the St. Bernard dogs, Sugar and Hok. The wait time for the Kiroro Gondola is about 20 minutes, but you can quickly reach the mountaintop. Near the summit of Asariyama where the gondola arrives, I saw beautiful frost-covered trees. One of the charms of Kiroro is that you can have the superb powder snow to yourself on some slopes where no one has skied yet. I returned to the Mountain Center for a break. I had lunch at the WDC Waffle Shop in the Mountain Center. I ordered a hot dog. It was a square focaccia-like bread with a thick sausage inside. "Ketchup and mustard okay?" "No problem!" The owner generously applied them for me. I bought a Sapporo Classic, a Hokkaido limited edition, from the vending machine and drank it, and it was delicious.
