I couldn't make a reservation at my usual restaurant, so I visited this new place that opened in May. First of all, the fish! It was rich in flavor, thick, and delicious. The grilled shrimp was a new experience for me with its satisfying texture. I've heard that for just a little over 2,000 yen, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink sake. I definitely plan to try that next time along with the delicious fish. Thank you for the meal!

I was so moved by my previous visit to the Douyama branch that I made a reservation in advance for my first visit to the Tenma branch, which also has sofa seats. However, to be honest, I was continuously disappointed. I was excited about the all-you-can-drink sake, particularly because I liked the value, with options like Bongold and Dassai available for 850 yen a glass. Unfortunately, my desired sake was completely unavailable, and I was shocked to find that about half of what was offered was out of stock! The staff mentioned that many had been served the day before, but why wouldn’t they keep stock? I feel mistrust since they didn't explain this before the all-you-can-drink started.
Regarding the food, the grilled salmon with salmon roe was very delicious! However, the young corn was dry, and the lotus root was undercooked, hard, and cold, which was the worst. I didn’t even feel like telling the staff about my concerns and just left the restaurant. It may sound exaggerated, but as someone who looks forward to every meal, I was deeply disappointed. The Tenma branch felt completely different from the amazing Douyama branch, and I don’t think I’ll return again. This is my honest review. ✤ Grilled salmon and salmon roe ✤ Fresh wheat gluten ✤ Young corn ✤ Lotus root ✤ Potato salad

I visited Daikame, a place I had wanted to go to for a while. The Temmanten location just opened in May this year and the interior is stylish and clean. I love the atmosphere of the robata grill. The counter has cozy two-person sofa seats, making it a great spot for a date. It’s fun to watch the food being cooked right in front of you. The sashimi was thick and delicious, and the freshly grilled giant mackerel and large shrimp melted in my mouth. There’s also a great selection of sake, which I was really pleased about. This is a place I definitely want to visit again!

I recently visited the newly opened "Daiyame" in Temma, and I absolutely love the irori (sunken hearth) at their Higashi-dori location, which I've been to twice already! The atmosphere is great for dates, groups, or even parties. This time, we sat in a couple's seat right in front of the irori, where we enjoyed the freshly grilled fatty sardines, giant shrimp, and sanma (mackerel pike).
The view was fantastic, and the shiny fat dripping from the fatty sardines was irresistible!
◼︎ Assorted sashimi (5 types): The pieces were large and filling, delicious, and the sweet soy sauce was a nice touch!
◼︎ Giant shrimp (robatayaki): Even after removing the shell, the flesh was plump and satisfying! I savored every bite.
◼︎ Fatty sardines (robatayaki): This is a must-order item. The perfect saltiness and the fluffiness of the grilled flesh made it a delightful experience. The rich fat made it so satisfying—you absolutely need a drink with this!
◼︎ Shiitake mushrooms: Thick and fragrant, simply divine!
◼︎ Sesame yellowtail: Extremely delicious; I finished it in no time.
◼︎ Grilled chicken neck (seseri): Perfect paired with some yuzu pepper and a sip of sake!
◼︎ Fried oysters: Juicy oysters paired with a smoky takuan tartar sauce were delicious. I think it even had some ibu-gakko (smoked pickles) in it? The tartar was so good that I ended up eating the leftover sauce on its own!
◼︎ Grilled rice ball (with soup): Made with shiso-flavored yukari, it tasted wonderful. The portion was just right!
◼︎ Daiyame soda (with sweet potato shochu): It's flavored with lychee and an absolute must-try!
◼︎ Sake (Sensuke): The lineup of sake was extensive!
This place is perfect for a date! I’ll definitely be going back!

It's a restaurant where you can smoke, has an à la carte menu with a drink all-you-can-drink option, and is conveniently close to the station. The service is nothing special, but when they forgot my drink order a couple of times, they brought it right away with a friendly smile, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the overall grilling quality of the food was disappointing. However, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the cost performance is quite good.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday at 6:30 PM. Perhaps because it’s located in Ogimachi, it was quite empty. I wondered if everything was okay since no customers came in during my time there, but both the food and atmosphere were fantastic. Once you get off the elevator, you’re right in the restaurant. I sat at the counter on a bench seat, which was very spacious. There was also a sunken hearth seating option, but without a backrest, I had reserved the bench seat.
I ordered a la carte, starting with a chilled chawanmushi as an appetizer. It was truly delicious with a rich dashi flavor. I also had sesame-marinated yellowtail, chicken sashimi, grilled saury, grilled prawns, chestnuts, fresh nagashi (a type of clear dumpling), and meat—all were delicious. I especially loved the fluffy chestnuts, which I think are seasonal right now. The friend I was with was particularly impressed by the fresh nagashi, as it’s not often available.
In the past, I think sanma (saury) used to be much fattier, but lately, they seem thinner. It was tasty nonetheless. One reason I chose this restaurant was its wide selection of sake. It’s rare to find a place that carries Kaze no Mori. The shochu called Daiyame was also excellent. Thank you for the meal!

First of all, the chilled chawanmushi served as an appetizer was incredibly delicious. The seasonal sanma (Pacific saury) was also tasty, and the large shrimp was very satisfying to eat. There was a good selection of sake available, with several noteworthy options. This is a restaurant I can highly recommend.

I went in without a reservation and got lucky to find two seats available early in the day. I had been curious about the fatty mackerel, so I ordered that along with some salmon, as well as a few meat-wrapped dishes. Overall, the flavors were quite strong, particularly the saltiness, which made the drinks go down smoothly. Even though the saltiness was intense, it was definitely a taste that kept me wanting more. The sesame yellowtail was also delicious. Additionally, the staff was very polite, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the restaurant was a bit noisy.

This was my first visit. I arrived at 5:30 PM without a reservation. I was seated at a counter sofa seat with the note that I needed to leave by 7 PM (lucky me!). I ordered meat miso stuffed peppers, sesame kanpachi (a type of fish), and salmon mozuku seaweed. For the robatayaki (grilled dishes), I ordered a large fatty sardine, silver salmon with salmon roe, shrimp wrapped in shiso leaves, fried tofu wrap, and mentaiko (pollock roe) wrap. The robatayaki’s Yamato pork meat roll series was incredibly delicious. The mentaiko was quite big! I thought the salmon mozuku was a bit too salty, though. Oh, and the cold chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) that was served as an appetizer was absolutely amazing!! For drinks, we shared 3 glasses of draft beer and 5 cups of daiyame soda. The daiyame soda, which is mentioned in the shop's name, was my first time trying it, and it had a lychee-like flavor that surprised both of us with how delicious it was! I think I’m going to get addicted! If I had to point out a downside, it’s that smoking cigarettes is allowed, which I didn’t like much... The total bill for two came to 10,241 yen. Thank you for the meal! I’ll definitely come back to try the meat roll series again!!

I visited "Binchō Robata Daiyame Tenma" which is just a 3-minute walk from Tenma Station and about 30 seconds from Ogimachi Station. This branch of the popular Daiyame in Umeda has opened in Tenma! It’s really just a stone’s throw away from Ogimachi Station. Even though I went on a weekday, the place was fully packed – a super popular spot suitable for dates or meetings, with a great atmosphere. Everything I ate was delicious, but the robata-yaki was definitely the highlight! That day, I had sanma (saury) and iwashi (sardines), and both were rich and fatty. Just a heads up: the seasoning is quite salty, so be cautious if you’re watching your salt intake. The sashimi was also tasty, and the sesame kanpachi was incredibly good. True to the restaurant's name, I made sure to order a proper daiya-me (a must-try for me!). I left with a full belly! I definitely want to go back to this restaurant.

"Daiyame / Tenma" - Traditional grilling! A popular restaurant, Daiyame, has opened in Tenma, just a short walk from扇町駅 (Oumachi Station) and a 3-minute walk from Tenma Station. I made a reservation for Friday night, but the place was incredibly busy and fully booked, proving to be a super popular spot! Everything on the menu is really delicious!! In particular, you must try the "O-toro Iwagi" and "Ichibo!" They also recommend their limited-time simmered dishes exclusive to the Tenma location. The counter seats, where you can watch the robatayaki grilling, are perfect for friends or a date, and I can say the atmosphere is simply amazing. By the way, "Daiyame" means "to enjoy evening drinks and unwind" in the Kagoshima dialect. If you haven't been yet, you should definitely check it out! Thank you for the meal!

I visited with a colleague from work. The restaurant is famous for its robatayaki, and sitting at the counter allows you to watch the cooking right in front of you, which I highly recommend. The service was very attentive, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. In addition to the signature robatayaki, the dishes featured seasonal ingredients and hearty portions of meat, making for a satisfying meal. There are also table seats, making it perfect for parties. It was quite lively even on a weekday. I look forward to visiting again! ✨

Recently, robatayaki (grilled dishes) has become very popular! The salt-sprinkling technique and the irori (hearth) in front of you are impressive! Every ingredient is delicious, and I especially want to order the extra large shrimp again! The perfect balance of salt was irresistible in the robatayaki!

I visited because I wanted to drink Daiyame. As soon as the elevator doors opened, I was inside the restaurant. The all-you-can-drink for 1,500 yen is a great deal if you plan to drink four or more glasses! The bonito sashimi was delicious, and the water eggplant was also good. The lotus root and onion were fresh, and the fried oysters were great as well. The tongue was also tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the Daiyame!

I wanted to order the 3,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink, but was told that only the 4,000 yen course was available today, so I decided to go with that. It might be due to the Obon season. I had reserved a seat at the counter, which was set up as a couple's area, right in front of a sunken hearth, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I definitely recommend it for couples on a date. However, it was disappointing that there was no sake included in the all-you-can-drink menu; there was an additional charge for sake. Overall, the food was delicious. The grilled sardines were the highlight! Next, I want to go back to try the sweetfish and shrimp!

If you're looking to enjoy carefully crafted dishes in a stylish space, I highly recommend "Bichō Robata Daiyame" in Tenma. Their simmered dishes, slow-cooked all day, are mouthwateringly tender! The grilled giant shrimp and mackerel are also exceptional, enhanced by their original blend of salt that elevates the flavor of the food. The aromatic salt was fantastic too! The menu features fresh fish and seasonal vegetables that change with each season, so there are always new discoveries to be made with every visit. You can experience the beautifully crafted dishes by skilled chefs through their trial and error process.
For sake lovers, there’s a great bonus! For an additional 680 yen, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink sake, including the celebrated "Dassai"! It’s the perfect place to spend quality time with someone special.

I visited this stylish restaurant on a Friday night at 7:00 PM without a reservation. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. We chose the all-you-can-drink option, and the à la carte dishes we ordered were delicious. However, the sweetfish was a bit too salty; it felt a bit overwhelming without alcohol. On the plus side, the all-you-can-drink option includes high-quality drinks, so I think it's a good value for those who plan to drink a lot.

A very popular restaurant from Daimyama has opened in Temma! If you're lucky (depending on seat availability), you can see fish like sweetfish and sardines being grilled right in front of the irori (traditional Japanese hearth)! Honestly, I haven't seen another place that does this in the same way! You can enjoy not only fish but also meat! They even have my favorite shrimp, and it was super delicious ( ; ; ) And definitely make sure to order the Daiyame soda highball, it's a must! They even have premium sake available... I don't think it was on the menu, so I'm not sure about the prices, haha. The interior has both counter and table seating, and the table area is great for parties, so I highly recommend it! Everyone should definitely check it out!
