On the way back from Yoichi, I stopped by here to buy some coffee to wake myself up. As I entered the door, I saw Sapporo Coffee Kan's coffee bean showcase on the right side and a counter on the left side where I placed my order for takeout. When I asked for iced coffee, they informed me that regular coffee takes time to brew, so takeout options are espresso-based. I ended up ordering a "Cafe Latte" (400 yen). After ordering and paying, I heard the sound of grinding beans followed by the machine noises. After about 3 minutes, my drink was handed to me. It had a strong bitterness but was flavorful. The milk made it milder, but the espresso base made it rich. The bitterness of the coffee was delicious. I really like the Cafe Latte here! The pasta menu in the restaurant and cafe area at the back of the shop looked appetizing. I would love to try dining in next time. Thank you, "Kura Coffee"!

I visited a cafe in Yoichi Town for lunch with my partner. Initially, we planned to have lunch at "Kasei" nearby, but lately, many tourist buses have been coming during lunchtime, making it difficult to get in without a reservation. So, we changed our plan! I had been curious about a coffee shop called "Kagura," which had a lunch advertisement outside - "One-plate lunch for 800 yen." The atmosphere inside the shop was bright, and they also sold coffee beans. The "Kagura" in the name stands for coffee, so I was sure we could have delicious coffee after our meal. The shop played jazz music in the background, from the mid-1950s to the early 1960s, creating a nice ambiance. The one-plate lunch featured menchi katsu and shrimp fry as the main dishes, served with seasoned rice and a soup with enoki mushrooms and mitsuba, along with sesame soba noodles in a flavorful white soy sauce broth. The presentation on the plate was impressive, and the meal was of good quality in taste and appearance. We enjoyed a blend coffee and ice cream for dessert. The coffee was delicious, just as expected from a shop named after coffee. There was a warehouse-like space at the back of the shop made of stone, where you could also dine, creating a cozy hideaway atmosphere with dim lighting. It was interesting how you could switch between two different atmospheres depending on your mood, all while listening to jazz. Considering the lunch was only 800 yen, the cost-performance ratio was quite high. It was quite surprising that this was my first review of this shop. As we left, I noticed the sign outside said "Sapporo Coffee House." It all made sense now - this must be a great place. Thank you for the meal.
