I was in the area for work and decided to look for a lunch spot on Gurunavi, where I found this restaurant that also accepts points. It turned out to be a great choice. I had a lunch set with pork and grapes, and it was really delicious. They mentioned it was European cuisine. The iced coffee was refreshing, and I enjoyed having a really good cup of coffee for the first time in a while.

The restaurant is located on a side street just a step off the Sawara Road, in a two-story traditional house. They serve ethnic dishes using herbs, and I've been curious about it for a while. The second floor has three tables, and the wooden furniture combined with the white walls creates a calming atmosphere. The first floor has two tables. It's great that lunch is served until 4:00 PM, which is quite late. I opted for the Spicy Meatball Lunch for 1,100 yen, but I also considered the banh mi and the soboro don. I was pleasantly surprised that they served warm water instead of cold. The meal comes with multigrain rice, salad, and a side dish. The salad included leafy greens with dill (which I love!) and other herbs like mint. The side dish consisted of an omelet, Thai-style fish cake, and sweet potato. The main feature is three large meatballs. You can taste the spices like cumin, but it's not spicy, making it easy to eat. It was delicious. They also sell bread on specific days of the week, and this month it’s on Wednesdays. The main menu and desserts look very tempting, so I definitely want to come back. They also offer breakfast. I had heard that the sweets were delicious, but I found out they also offer ethnic lunch, so I decided to go during lunchtime! It was a cold day, so I ordered the lotus root and pork soup, while my mother had the bánh mì sandwich. She said the homemade bread was really tasty! My soup had a simple seasoning that brought out the flavors of the ingredients. At first, I thought it was a bit mild, but since salt, pepper, and lime were provided separately, I changed the flavor as I ate, and it gradually became addictive! I chose jasmine rice to go with it, and it was refreshing and delicious. For dessert, we shared the fig chocolate and cheesecake, and the fig chocolate was incredibly good! I'm curious about the other lunch options, so I definitely want to go back. We sat on the second floor, and while the stylish atmosphere was nice, it was cold and there was some strange mechanical noise. That was a bit distracting. Also, the restroom was very cramped, so larger individuals should be mindful of that!

I used this place for a year-end party. They offered a course meal with all-you-can-drink options. The food was crafted with care. Although it seems like a cafe at first, it feels more like a drinking spot at night. The portion sizes are just right for women, but might leave men wanting more. However, the service was smooth, making it a convenient place to visit, which I really liked.

I was wandering around searching for a late lunch on the weekend, looking for a ramen shop that’s open continuously. I gave up at the first place due to a long line, the second was closed for the day, and at the third, they had run out of food. At that point, I decided to give up on ramen altogether and just entered wherever was open. To my surprise, the food exceeded my expectations. Each dish was carefully prepared, and it was a type of Asian restaurant that you don’t find very often nearby. The exterior looked quite uninviting, but the interior was beautifully renovated, and the staff were friendly. I hope this place stays around for a long time.
