I visited Comme Chinois at Takashimaya Osaka in Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka. I bought some bread for takeout. I got the Noix Raisin, a rustic bread with plenty of walnuts and raisins. It's perfect with cheese and wine. I also tried the L'Alliance Samso Cheese, a collaboration bread with two types of cheese. Personally, I liked the Noix Raisin the best, but both breads were delicious. I want to try their sweets next time.

I arranged for a cute baked goods set from Comme Ci Noa as a gift for multiple people. I had prepared an extra box as a backup, which ended up not being needed, so we happily enjoyed it at home. The Madeline cookies with ribbon, shaped like bears, had a rich maple and almond scent. They were moist, soft, and delicious with plenty of butter, and the fine texture of the dough was very tasty. Even the children were impressed, saying "The bear cookies are fluffy and delicious." The assortment of cookies also included cute bear cookies with hand-drawn expressions. They all had a rich buttery flavor, were crumbly, and truly delicious. The strawberry cookies had a strong strawberry flavor, while the chocolate cookies had a more bitter taste for adults. It was a shame that the bread shelf was completely empty when I went in the evening. I hope to visit again during the day.

Here at Namba Takashimaya underground, I tried the "Chou A La Bombe" which had a delicious burnt crust and bought some baked goods as souvenirs. The caramelized outer layer had a nice flavor and aroma, the cream inside was tasty, and the dough was moist. I'm not a huge fan of cream puffs, but this one really suited my taste. Delicious, thank you for the meal!

Today, I bought some bread here. I got some fluffy bread to go. It was my first time here, but it looked delicious so I couldn't resist buying it. Just as the name suggests, it was fluffy and chewy, and very tasty. Thank you for the meal.

During the Obon period, I visited in the early afternoon. I arrived before 2 pm and there was only one other customer. This place is a sweets shop located on the B1F of Osaka Takashimaya. This time, I purchased three items.
<Choux a la Bombe 324 yen> Inside the crispy choux pastry, there is a generous amount of vanilla cream. It had a substantial volume, more than it looks.
<Trifle 594 yen> The fluffy pastry is filled with custard, whipped cream, and fruits. The fruits included are raspberries, bananas, kiwi, and mango, giving a fresh impression. It feels light and seems like a good snack.
<Mango Shortcake 702 yen> A shortcake with plenty of mango, the sponge is light. My wife said the mango was juicy and delicious. It may not be flashy like last time, but I thought it was a solid cake. Thank you for the meal.

The other day was the final working day for the temporary staff member who had been taking care of us. As a token of appreciation, I bought a little gift for her at "Comme Chinois" in Takashimaya, a place she loves sweets. She was so surprised and happy. I also bought Madeleines and cookies for our family. Thank you so much for supporting our business for 4 years!

This shop not only has delicious bread, but also tasty cakes. The shokupan (Japanese fluffy white bread) is also popular. My personal favorite is the croissant. It's crispy with a hint of sweetness. It tastes even better when paired with cheese. The cheese sandwich was just delicious as well.

A popular sweets shop located on the basement floor of Namba Takashimaya, selling both bread and sweets. Order the Milk Crepe for ¥630. The layers of milk crepe are stacked high with plenty of fruit mixed in, creating a delicious combination. The juicy, slightly tart fruit harmonizes well with the generous amount of cream. The bread sells out quickly due to its popularity. Even if you visit in the evening, there are still some varieties of sweets available.

Visited on a Saturday evening. Arrived a little after 3:30 pm and there were no other customers. This place is a dessert shop located inside Osaka Takashimaya department store. I purchased three items this time.
<Mille Crepe 627 yen> Consists of custard cream, whipped cream, and crepes sandwiched with seasonal fruits. The fruits included were raspberry, kiwi, banana, orange, and loquat(?). The crepe was pleasantly chewy, and the custard and whipped cream had a nostalgic feel.
<Lyon-style Lemon Tart 411 yen> Packed with lemon acidity, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. It uses pie crust instead of tart crust, so it doesn't feel heavy. This was my favorite cake out of the three.
<Mango Tart 702 yen> Custard cream with a coconut fragrance and ripe mango. It is accented with passion fruit sauce and herbs. I didn't try it myself, but my wife really liked it. It may not be flashy, but it's a solid cake. Thank you for the meal.

I slowly walked from Dotonbori to watch a live performance at Namba Grand Kagetsu, then headed to the accommodation after moving to Takashimaya Osaka Store... but before that, I checked on Tabelog and found this place to be a HIT. Isn't this where I am right now...? I quickly went downstairs to search for the restaurant, finally found it, but all the bread was sold out... (ノД`) Tears... As expected of one of the top 100 bread shops. Just when I was feeling disappointed, the staff said, "We have sandwich bread available," so I bought it. Hard toast. When I asked for an explanation, they said that if you eat it as is, it's hard, so lightly toasting it in a toaster will make it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making it delicious. There is a microwave at my accommodation tonight, but... When I ate it as is, it was indeed hard, but the flavor kept coming out. Simply delicious. If I have the chance next time, I would like to try their sweets.

I stopped by Namba and bought some bread for breakfast. Although I have purchased cakes from the main store in Kobe and here before, this is my first time buying bread. I purchased the following two items:
- French Coppe (195 yen): This is a French bread with sour cream kneaded into it, giving the bread a slight tangy flavor. It is not as crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside as typical French bread, but more of a middle ground between French bread and Japanese coppe bread. It has a mild tangy flavor and is quite plain, so it is better to eat it with something sandwiched inside.
- Cream Pan (260 yen): This bread is made with the same dough as the Coppe bread mentioned above, with a mild and plain custard cream filling. The price is not high, and the bread is simple, making it a decent purchase if you are nearby.
On the other hand, the cakes are quite substantial, especially the Savarin which is recommended. They have a strong liqueur flavor, and there are many products that can only be bought here.

On this day, I had a meeting in Osaka first. After finishing the meeting, I was heading to Fukuoka early, so I hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch. I decided to buy a bento box from Katsune, a shop from Nara, which was having a temporary store in the basement of Takashimaya in Osaka for a week, and eat it on the Shinkansen. I also wanted to get some dessert, so I went to Comme Chinois, a shop that is part of the Sweets Hyakumeiten (Top 100 Sweets Shops) in the same basement. It was a little after 3 pm, but they still had a few types of fresh cakes left! (Last time I visited in the evening, they were all sold out...orz) I looked at the showcase and decided to buy the Bon Maman strawberry tart. After finishing my bento on the Shinkansen, it was dessert time! The tart had strawberries with just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, a light custard cream, and a slightly strong aroma of kirsch. Overall, it was tasty but surprisingly it was a fairly ordinary, traditional cake. Thank you for the meal!

When I searched for delicious bread to buy in Namba, I found that Comme Chinois on the first floor of Takashimaya had high ratings. I decided to buy some for breakfast. They also sell cakes, but I'm not sure which one has higher ratings. I ended up buying two croissants, half a baguette, and a long red bean bun called "Tsubuan Ron." The croissants had a crispy surface that would definitely make a mess if you're not careful when eating. The sound of chewing the crispy surface lasted a long time, it was so crispy on the outside and moist inside. I could taste the sweetness and smell the butter. It felt like a high-quality croissant, but it was a bit expensive. Overall, it was worth it. Next time, I want to try their cakes. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a bakery thinking it was a bread shop based on looking at the food log, but it turned out to be a shop mainly selling baked goods. When I visited in the early afternoon, most of the bread was already sold out. I debated between the Croissant Sac and Cheese French, and ended up buying the Cheese French. I paid 270 yen with PayPay. I bought it for breakfast the next day, so I had it with carbonated water for breakfast at the hotel. The combination of cheese and French bread was perfect, and the French bread had a flavor similar to baked goods. It was a very delicious bread. I would like to buy the Croissant Sac next time. Since it is a bread that tastes like baked goods, it seems like it would go well with black tea.

This time I tried buying bread. I didn't know it was in a department store! The main focus seems to be cakes and baked goods, but the bread might be worth trying too! This time I bought a small mini. I personally prefer cakes from another store, but the baked goods here are cute, so they might be good for giving to someone as a gift!笑

When I searched for a place near Namba with some errands, I found this bakery called "Hyakumeiten" and decided to visit. It is located on the 1st floor of the East Building of Takashimaya Osaka. There were many similar shops around and no prominent sign, so it was a bit difficult to find. When I arrived at the store, there was no waiting line and I was able to make a purchase right away. I originally wanted to buy cakes or pudding, but there were some issues so I ended up getting bread instead. The bread was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Takashimaya in Namba, Osaka, "Comme Chinois Takashimaya Osaka Store" is a bakery supervised by a French chef from Kobe, Sannomiya. One highly recommended item is the "Comme Chinois cream pan." The popular cream pan has been revamped with a new flavor. It features a refreshing cream with accents of rum raisins. With each bite, you can enjoy the perfect balance between the moist bread and cream. The sweetness of the cream is also subtle, making it easy to eat multiple pieces without getting tired of it. Another recommended item is the "Maple Bear" madeleine. This pastry, shaped like a bear, is not only cute but also delicious. One bite and you'll taste the subtle sweetness of maple syrup and enjoy the moist texture. The price is reasonable, making it even more appealing to enjoy these tasty pastries. The cute design of the pastries also makes them a perfect little gift.

A sweets shop located in the Depachika of Namba Takashimaya, known for its high-quality chocolate baked goods and cakes. It is affiliated with a popular bakery in Kobe's Sannomiya area. The chocolate baked goods are rich and delicious. I also want to try their cakes.

I went to Takashimaya's basement and bought some items. The shop was located in a corner of the various shops on the first basement floor. I was worried it might be crowded, but luckily it was empty. I was able to make a purchase quickly. The sweet snacks were delicious. The cheese bread was just average.
