I went to a hidden Chinese restaurant just a short walk from the station, and thanks to the sign, I was able to find it easily. The exterior resembles a calm, traditional house. Once I stepped inside through the entrance, I was greeted by retro furniture and decor, and I took off my shoes to enter. Although it was a weekday, I made a reservation and ordered the "Waitan Course." There were many drink options, and I had fun choosing. The fruit wines offered different mixers, which was delightful!
On the second floor, there were private rooms, and the seating was spacious. The atmosphere was cozy, and our meal began. The appetizers were quite substantial. The dishes came out at a pace that matched our eating speed. I was particularly looking forward to the dim sum, but the stir-fried water spinach and braised pork were delicious, with just the right amount of seasoning. They paired well with the drinks!
Next came the chive dumplings, soup dumplings, and shrimp dumplings. Each one was prepared with care and was extremely refined. Everything was so tasty! To top it off, we had giant chive gyoza, leaving us feeling full. We finished with egg fried rice and almond jelly. Thank you for a wonderful meal! This time I chose a course, but I'm also interested in trying the dim sum and soup, so I would love to visit again. Thank you for the delicious experience away from the hustle and bustle!

It's part of the same chain as the shop in Tenma. This is the main store, and it only has semi-private rooms with tatami and tables; the tatami room is quite spacious and seems capable of accommodating a large number of people. They have the same menu as in Tenma, including the Jumbo Garlic Gyoza. However, the food in Tenma was tastier… also, it took way too long for the food to come out, which was quite frustrating.

I wanted Chinese food with a friend, and due to COVID, the restaurant was sadly quite empty, but we were able to talk leisurely. It's a bit far from the station, but the old townhouse has a great atmosphere. We ordered several dishes and relaxed comfortably in the tatami-mat room.

On my first visit, I came with a colleague for a preliminary inspection, and we opted for the lunch set. The soup dumplings were juicy, and the shrimp shumai was delicious! For my second visit, it was a celebration and New Year's party for my colleague, and we chose a 5,000 yen all-you-can-drink course. The dishes were authentic, although they might have been a bit small for the men, but we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Since we had a private room and table seating, it was a great setup for the gathering.

We found this restaurant while searching for a place to visit after our prayer at Isshinji Temple. Since there were four of us, we made a reservation, which turned out to be a good decision as many people came in right after us. We all ordered from the lunch menu, and I had the yurinchi (fried chicken with garlic and soy sauce). Everyone ordered something different. We all requested to have our rice portions halved, which was just the right amount. We also ordered four small steamed buns (xiao long bao) as a side. The buns were average; they were tasty but nothing special. I personally prefer the xiao long bao from a famous place in Taiwan. The yurinchi had a nice scallion oil, but I was a bit disappointed because I expected it to look like the one in the menu photo. The flavor was good, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Usually, I just copy and paste my Facebook posts onto Tabelog, but I can't find the original post for this one, so I'm recalling it from memory (^◇^;) This place is just off the main street, along the route from Tennoji Station to the Shitennoji Temple. Everything about it was average; the food, atmosphere, and service were all fine, not outstanding but definitely above average.

We went for lunch and shared the shrimp mayo and chicken dish. Both were delicious! When we ordered tea, it was served in a generous teapot, and it was also very tasty. The mango pudding for dessert was so good that even I, who usually dislikes mangoes, enjoyed it! I definitely want to go back again.

Near the Four Deva Kings Temple, there's a shop that seems a bit shy. The "kunshinsai" was delicious, and I went back for seconds. It was truly tasty!

We ordered a 5,000 yen course for a company banquet. While each dish was delicious, the portions were on the smaller side, so the men likely didn’t feel satisfied. What surprised me was that not only the main dishes but also the appetizers needed to be shared. The jelly was served in a small bowl, and when I asked, they replied, "Please share this too." That doesn't seem right!

The dim sum lunch was 800 yen. I was satisfied with the amount, as it included rice noodles and dim sum, and it was delicious. The building had a historical feel and a very relaxing atmosphere, and I would like to come back again.

The Chinese food served in a renovated traditional farmhouse had a calm atmosphere, and it was both delicious and full of charm.
