A highly-rated ramen shop in Yao City. I walked there from Kintetsu Yao Station on a holiday afternoon for my first visit. The shop has 5 counter seats, 1 table for 2, and 1 table for 3. I tried the "Kawachi Salt Ramen" for 780 yen, which came in a large white bowl. The soup had a strong clam aroma and was slightly cloudy. The noodles were thin and mostly straight. The seasoned egg was flavorful, and the thick-cut chashu was tender with some fatty parts. The bamboo shoots had an elegant taste and a crunchy texture. The ramen had a very delicious broth made from clam stock. They also offered a spicy condiment called "Red Negi" on the side, which added a great kick to the ramen. Overall, it was very tasty. Here are some items from the menu: Kawachi Salt Ramen 780 yen, Shrimp Soy Sauce Ramen 780 yen, Aged Black Soy Sauce Ramen 780 yen, Fragrant Seafood Soba 780 yen, Ramen Large Serving (1.5 servings) 880 yen, Special Serving (2 servings) 980 yen, Toppings: Seasoned Egg 100 yen, Extra Green Onions 150 yen, Extra Bamboo Shoots 200 yen, Red Negi (House-made spicy condiment) 120 yen, Beef Small Intestine Hormone (Tetchan) 250 yen, Extra Chashu 250 yen, Tsukemen: Rich Soy Sauce Base 880 yen, Shrimp Salt Base 880 yen, Large Serving (300g) 990 yen, Special Serving (400g) 1100 yen, Rice: Small 120 yen, Medium 170 yen, Large 270 yen, Pork Bowl: Small 370 yen, Medium 580 yen, Large 780 yen, Jako Rice 300 yen, Tamago Kake Gohan (Egg over rice) 270 yen, Grilled Pork Gyoza 350 yen, Assorted Appetizers 750 yen, Bamboo Shoots 350 yen, Chinese Cabbage Kimchi 250 yen, Canned Beer 450 yen, Canned Highball 450 yen.
