Recently, I visited 【Sumibi Robata to Niku Kinasamoji】 in Shinsen, Shibuya! This place has a great sense of luxury and style! It's impressive that they maintain a high-end feel while being reasonably priced. I opted for the Hibiki course, which includes a standard all-you-can-drink option. Here’s the menu:
◆ Appetizers and Delicacies (3 types) - Featuring ume crystal and chan-chan, among others. Personally, I found the chan-chan to be richly flavored and very delicious!
◆ Sashimi Platter (5 types) - Freshly delivered from the market, each piece was fresh. The octopus was chewy, and the tuna was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
◆ Mountain Vegetable Salad - Packed with mushrooms and a delightful performance of freshly grated cheese on top made it a standout!
◆ Grilled Scallop with Butter (1 per person) - It was incredibly fragrant, having been grilled at the robata!
◆ Beef Skirt Steak with Black Pepper Sauce - Tender and cooked rare, the skirt steak was wonderfully melt-in-your-mouth!
◆ Seasonal Vegetables with Melting Cheese - The mushrooms were already delicious, but adding melted cheese made it even better! The combination of pepper and cheese was perfect!
◆ Seasonal Pickles - This time, it was yuzu daikon.
◆ Today's Grilled Fish - It washokke, and the flesh was incredibly flaky and tasty! The skin was so aromatic that I ended up eating it too!
◆ Today's Clay Pot Rice - A delicious clay pot rice packed with porcini mushrooms, topped generously with cheese.
◆ Seasonal Cream Dorayaki (1 per person) - Today it was chestnut! Stylish and tasty!
The drink selection is extensive, especially for sours, sake, and shochu with a variety of choices, so I definitely recommend trying some! Overall, I was very satisfied with this course! The staff were kind, quick, and fantastic! Lastly, thank you for the wonderful meal!
