Since I came to Sapporo, I felt a sense of duty to visit Rokkatei, so I went to the first store. Both stores offer a coffee refill for 25 points, making it a great place to take a break after shopping.

I came to Makomanai to eat the Okowa set meal at Rokkatei, but unfortunately the Okowa set meal (strong rice set meal) ended at the end of October. What a pity. I had oolong tea, this month's pizza, shrimp and trefoil pizza, hayashi rice, and a shortcake as a souvenir!

"I got some sweets from XX-chan," said my wife. I replied, "Oh, that's rare!" I tried one and thought, why is it sticky? Then my wife clarified, "I meant it's rare for XX-chan to give sweets to you, not that the sweets are rare. Your brother-in-law said that." I realized I didn't need to try it. It was a mistake. The texture was disappointing, like it was soggy. The other one was delicious, with a soft and elegant taste. The problem was the soggy one, which was sweet and sour. I immediately told my wife to try it. She said, "What is this, it's wet!" The texture was just too disappointing."

Before the concert, I decided to have some sweets! Many people had the same idea, and the cafe was always full... I gave up and bought some baked goods and a soft serve ice cream to go. The chestnut flavor had a hint of alcohol and was quite sophisticated! The soft serve ice cream had a strong milk flavor, which surprised me as it was different from what I usually have... It was so delicious! I envy people from Hokkaido who can easily enjoy this.

I had pudding and a limited-time maple anmitsu. Both were reasonably priced and delicious without being too sweet. The restaurant is spacious and has an open atmosphere. The entire place is lined with glass, allowing you to see greenery outside which is very soothing.

I love this place because you can enjoy delicious sweets at a reasonable price. This time, I ordered the strawberry milk and matcha cakes, both of which were homemade and very tasty. I think the flavors are enjoyable for both adults and children. It's also nice that you can get a refill on coffee!

Rooted in the local community and helping to enrich people's lives - This particular store is actually a concert hall called "Fukinotou." It's amazing, right? There is indeed a stage at the back. Rokkatei is also dedicated to cultural activities. Now, let's head to the café on the first floor. - Order: Matcha parfait 650 Hot cheesecake 500 Hot coffee 380 x2 Oh, I also bought some caramels on the way back! ( ´θ｀) - Impressions: - Matcha Parfait: The matcha sherbet, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream all have a subtly sweet and high-quality taste. The hint of red bean flavor and the agar jelly hidden inside add a nice touch. It's enjoyable to eat while sipping coffee. - Cheesecake: The cheesecake looks like a fluffy rolled omelette. It's cute and has a fluffy outer layer with a moist, Parmesan cheese-flavored, tangy-sweet taste. The sponge cake with a good chewy texture is irresistible. - Coffee: The café at Rokkatei offers all-you-can-drink coffee, but the refill style varies by store. Here, the staff brings the first cup, and then you can refill it yourself at the corner. It's nice to be able to drink at your own pace without feeling pressured. - Caramels: I ate the caramels on the way back. It had been 30 years since I last had caramels. I had the image of them being hard, slowly softening in the mouth, and being so sticky that they could pull out your teeth, but this was completely different! It was soft and melted immediately, with a pleasant nutty crunch. Is this what caramels are? Rokkatei is amazing! It's such a shock that it could change my perspective. It's really a shame to be picky about food. This year, I've had many discoveries like this. Grateful. The carefully placed decorations, flowers, and plants inside and outside the building seem almost calculated. Even the restroom on the second floor is a luxurious and lovely space. I always think I want to visit all of Rokkatei's stores. Next time, maybe I'll go to the Elm store. Thank you for the meal. I passed by here by car and decided to stop by to satisfy my hunger a bit. I was thinking of getting a crispy pie, but then I thought I should have something more substantial, and I remembered that Rokkatei is known for being decently delicious. The menu is like that of a cafe, with a limited number of options, so it's better to come here for a light meal rather than a full dining experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is mostly older ladies, which makes sense. I ordered the hashed beef rice, and it was surprisingly delicious. The demi-glace sauce had a subtle acidity and bitterness, bringing out the flavor of the meat. The rice was also sweet and really tasty. It was as delicious as a starred Japanese restaurant. I would even eat just the white rice alone. The "Yukonko Cheese" was a cocoa biscuit sandwiched with baked cheese, and it tasted exactly as you would imagine. The baked cheese was cold and delicious. I absolutely love Rokkatei's Marseille Butter Sandwich, and whenever I come to Hokkaido, I always buy about 40 of them for myself. The hashed beef rice was also very delicious. Honestly, I think it's been about 10 years since I last had hashed beef rice, so it's hard for me to give a relative evaluation, but it was simply delicious as a dish. I used to make hashed beef rice a lot during my student days and even served it to my family and friends because it was my specialty dish, but the taste here was something that an amateur could never achieve. The balance of acidity, bitterness, and sweetness was a professional taste. I wonder if they make it at the Central Kitchen. If so, that's amazing. And they definitely use good rice. I felt like I saw the true strength of Rokkatei in that white rice. The portion size is quite modest, so it's good for a light lunch. I would definitely want to come back here when I'm in Hokkaido and feeling a bit peckish.

Located near the Makomanai area, Rokkatei is a confectionery shop along National Route 453, close to Sekisui Heim Ice Arena. I visited the shop to purchase some sweets for home use while I was in the area for errands. The building has a spacious parking space in front, and there is also a cafe inside. I bought several items including the popular Marseille Butter Sand and they were all delicious. Personally, I highly recommend the "Ohirahara" and "Marseille Butter Cake". They have a wide variety of products and the prices are reasonable overall, making it a great choice when you're craving for some sweets.

I arrived around 11:30 in the morning, about 30 minutes after the café opened, to enjoy the birthday cake service. I came alone to eat the cake and found a calm seat by the wall. There were various groups of customers, such as housewives, elderly individuals, couples, and families. I realized that if I had come later, I might not have been able to find a seat. Fortunately, I could have coffee refills and enjoyed eating the cake slowly. Some customers who only had meals left earlier, which was good. The cake, a combination of orange and chocolate flavors, was delicious. The orange mousse and chocolate complemented each other well without overpowering the taste. The dried orange and chocolate on top were the sweetest parts, and even the whipped cream on top was a nice touch. As always, the cakes from Rokkatei offer good value for money. I booked a snack shop on my way back, which I had tried once before and found to be a good deal.

On my birthday, when I went to the Rokkatei café, there was a service where you could enjoy free cake and drinks. I went with a friend. There were various types of cakes and drinks, but this time I recommend the chocolate cake. It was very rich and delicious. The free refill service for hot coffee was also a nice touch. I would like to go again next year!

I visited for lunch. The tables were placed quite far apart. I was seated right away without waiting, maybe because the place was not crowded. The staff in the dining hall were dressed like chefs, different from the staff in the cafe. They seemed busy but still provided pleasant service with a smile. I ordered the beef stew with the option to reduce the amount of rice. It was served in a hot ceramic bowl, bubbling and steaming. The stew was rich and flavorful, with tender meat and soft vegetables like carrots, and crunchy onions. It was a good deal for 860 yen. The restroom was on the second floor, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the unique washbasin.

I didn't used to like raisins, but I became a big fan because of the butter sandwich. It's a long-selling product made with our own wheat flour, sandwiched with white chocolate and raisins, and cream made with 100% Hokkaido-produced milk butter.

I visited Rokkatei for the first time to buy a cake as a gift for my niece's house. I was surprised by the spacious interior with a stage for concerts. The cakes at Rokkatei were affordable and I wanted to buy all of them, but I am currently on a diet. I tried the Chocolate Cake, Shortcake, Chocola Fraze, and Mont Blanc. The cream was delicious and the sponge was fluffy and not too sweet. The simplicity of the cakes without excessive decorations was lovely. Thank you to "Whole Store" for the delicious cakes!

Once upon a time, at Nopporo, I had a delicious summer pizza at Rokkatei's cafe. I visited again in August 2019. Plum soda for 330 yen was delicious. It had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, unlike most plum drinks which are too sweet. The Summer Vegetable Pizza for 800 yen, however, was disappointing. The taste was okay, around 2.8 out of 5. It had a homemade feel, but maybe that worked against it. It could have been baked a bit longer. The crust seemed undercooked. I also bought some sweets as souvenirs. The shop is spacious and the staff are friendly, but I think I'll skip the pizza next time and stick to their main specialty, which is sweets. That's all.

Located along Route 453 heading towards Lake Shikotsu, Rokkatei is a convenient stop with a spacious parking lot. Upon entering, the left side is the café area and the right side is the shop area. This time, we headed left to pick up some snacks for our drive. While the soft serve ice cream looked tempting, we decided to pass this time. Since our kids love crispy snacks, we opted for the "Gokuraku" crispy caramelized snacks. Rokkatei has a great sense of naming their products. We enjoyed these snacks during our drive! I went to lunch for a friend's birthday! The pizza was delicious! On birthdays, the staff sings the birthday song beautifully and gives a complimentary cake! How wonderful! I highly recommend celebrating your birthday at Rokkatei with delicious pizza and cake. It's recommended!

I used it for a tea time. The place is a shop along Route 453 where the Makomanai Ice Arena is located. Here, water is self-service, but if you have a Rokkatei point card, you can also enjoy self-service coffee. When I stopped by for tea time, most of the cakes were already sold out, so I ordered zenzai (500 yen) instead. I'm not here for the cake anyway, so I'll enjoy the zenzai. The zenzai has two pieces of mochi inside and is elegantly sweetened. It comes with Rokkatei's salted kelp on a separate plate. The salty kelp and sweet zenzai combo is endless. I didn't have much time, so I left quickly, but I'll come back when I have more time to relax!

I went to have snacks with my daughter at Rokkatei Cafe. My daughter had a strawberry parfait, while I had warm oolong tea and Snow Kon Cheesecake. The strawberry parfait consisted of whipped cream, strawberries, and ice cream, which is my daughter's favorite type of parfait. The "Snow Kon Cheesecake" was a cocoa cookie with a layer of rare cheesecake mousse in between. The cheese inside had a refreshing and slightly sour taste. The pizza also looked delicious. The restaurant had an elegant and upscale atmosphere. My daughter, upon seeing the entrance, asked, "Is this a hotel?" (laughs).

The sweets from Rokkatei had an elegant taste and were delicious.
