I worked in a darkroom in Kitahama. I planned to buy a pork cutlet sandwich from Manpuku-san and have it for dinner since I knew I would be coming home a bit late. I arrived a little after 4 o'clock. There was no line on that day, but the store was full, so I waited outside until one customer came out. I was able to enter after waiting for 2-3 minutes. I got the large pork cutlet sandwich this time. Pork Cutlet Sandwich 396 yen x 2, Piroshki 250 yen, Curry Bread 250 yen, Cheese French Bread 180 yen, Tomato Cheddar Cheese Bread 190 yen, Kinako Mochi 270 yen x 2, Red Bean Bread 180 yen, Melon Bread 170 yen, Walnut Red Bean Bread 180 yen, Fig & Walnut Bread 190 yen, Baguette 240 yen. Total 2900 yen (excluding tax 232 yen). For dinner, I had the pork cutlet sandwich and piroshki. I was quite full after eating about half of it. I don't eat piroshki often, but it was easy to eat and delicious. The pork cutlet sandwich was satisfying with its tender meat, crispy cabbage sautéed in curry flavor. I really wanted to eat the kinako mochi, but I had to end my dinner there. The next morning, I had the melon bread and kinako mochi. I warmed them up a bit before eating. The melon bread had a crispy cookie dough, not too sweet, and it was delicious. My husband, who ate the red bean bread and fig & walnut bread, said the red bean bread had a good sweetness, and the fig & walnut bread was delicious with plenty of figs. He hasn't eaten the baguette yet, but we have high expectations. In any case, the cost-performance is great, the taste is satisfying, and I think it's a conscientious shop. My visits to Kitahama will be ending soon, so I might not be able to go for a while. I apologize for not being able to take pictures of all the purchased items this time.
