One of the individual dishes, "Kokoro," features fresh heart meat served with ginger soy sauce. It pairs beautifully with rice and also works well as a snack, making it a versatile choice. For grilled dishes, I selected “Jou Tan Salt” (premium beef tongue), “Jou Harami” (premium skirt steak), and “Jou Bara” (premium fatty beef). The prices may seem a bit high at first glance, but the generous portions mean that these three dishes will fill you up nicely. In particular, the “Jou Tan Salt” is among the best quality I've tasted in Tokyo. Enjoying grilled meat in a charming, down-to-earth atmosphere was wonderful. However, be aware that the restaurant allows smoking, so it might be bothersome for some guests depending on the timing. I recommend visiting during off-peak hours to avoid discomfort.

I keep eating top-quality beef belly and top-quality tongue. Born in Osaka, this place is famous for being where Sashihara celebrated her birthday (Nishi-Kasai branch). They also opened a location on the outskirts of Shimbashi last October. Beneath a somewhat love hotel-like sign is a straightforward yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant. The menu isn’t extensive; you should focus solely on top-quality tongue and top-quality beef belly. Meat, meat, highball, meat, meat, kimchi. I highly recommend repeating this sequence with total concentration.

While they might specialize in offal, even the regular cuts of meat are really good. Oh, is beef tongue considered offal? The interior was bright and clean, and there was one group ahead of us. ★ Nama Makgeolli Bottle: ¥3,080 You can't have yakiniku without makgeolli! The cheerful makgeolli was served. ★ Otooshi (Appetizer): Cabbage ★ Kimchi Assorted: ¥605 It included sweet-spicy cucumber, daikon, and napa cabbage. ★ Premium Salted Tongue: ¥2,728 This place is known for its tongue and harami. What arrived was thickly sliced and fresh, with a great crispy texture—really delicious! Two servings were just right, although half sizes are also available. ★ Premium Harami: ¥2,728 You can choose between wasabi soy sauce or tare; I opted for wasabi soy sauce. The exquisite harami was excellent, and the wasabi and soy sauce paired perfectly! There were about 10 pieces, offering a generous portion. ★ Hormone Mix: ¥1,980 Since the restaurant was quiet, they kindly served both tare and salt half-and-half. I was indecisive, so I appreciate the accommodating order. Both were delicious and paired well with drinks! ★ Jinro Glass: ¥500 x 3 I thought the price was a bit high for Shimbashi, but the quality of the meat justified it. The total bill came to around ¥12,000 for two people, and we could pay with PayPay.

The food was delicious, just like in Osaka's Kyobashi. I was very satisfied. However, it was disappointing that the staff often forgot my orders, and I had to repeat my requests multiple times. I understand it might have been due to the restaurant being busy, but the time it took for my orders to arrive was a bit long, and they didn’t communicate when the order of the dishes changed unless I asked. Overall, the service could be improved.
