Today's noodles are from "Raamenya Harinezumi" in Takatsuki, Osaka. The owner of this shop was inspired by the salt ramen at "Hirugao" in the early 2000s, studied ramen in Hong Kong after his wife's transfer, and opened his own shop in Takatsuki upon returning to Japan. The shop's name is a homage to Iida Shoten and the owner's love for hedgehogs. The shop opened promptly at 11:00, with the owner apologizing for any wait. The soy sauce ramen with an egg was ordered for 950 yen, with an additional 100 yen for the egg. The soup was rich with a blend of chicken and seafood broth, complemented by a fragrant soy sauce. The homemade whole wheat noodles had a satisfying texture and paired well with the flavorful soup. The pork shoulder loin was tender and flavorful, while the half-boiled egg and sliced bamboo shoots added a nice touch. The shop is currently closed on various days due to the owner's involvement in his child's school events, so it's recommended to check their Twitter for updates before visiting.

Located along Route 171, this popular ramen shop specializes in dried fish broth ramen. I visited right after they opened on a weekday and tried their limited edition "Niboshi Brown" ramen for 950 yen. The dish features two slices of rare pork shoulder chashu that are juicy and tender like roast beef. The plentiful thin-cut menma has a satisfying crunch and great flavor. The combination of purple onions and dried fish is excellent. The double soup, made with their famous dried fish broth and Nagoya Cochin chicken, alternates between a tangy and sweet taste that is rich and flavorful. The soup is clear and refreshing without any fishy aftertaste. The homemade medium-thick wavy noodles are made in the shop's noodle room and perfectly soak up the soup. This was my first visit in six years, and despite the shop's growing popularity, the warm and humble service from the couple who run the shop remains unchanged. It was a delightful experience to see so many female customers at the shop, and it's easy to understand why this shop is so highly praised in Takatsuki.

I love the challenging restaurants in Takatsuki, which has many famous shops. This time, I particularly liked the limited-time offering of "Mixed Nibo Cold Noodles." The visual presentation is great, and the homemade oil sardine with organic buckwheat mixed flat noodles is delicious. The noodles have a chewy texture and a rich wheat flavor that really stands out. The abundant shiso leaves add a wonderful fragrance. The taste of the katsuobushi and plum paste for flavor variation is perfect for a hot day, providing a refreshing feeling and a cool sensation from the cold noodles. This limited edition noodle dish should definitely be priced higher considering its quality! I haven't tried the MISO with double roasted tomatoes yet, so I will definitely go back for it.

Thick soy sauce ramen with whole wheat noodles. I had been curious about this place for a while and finally visited for the first time. I went on a weekday around 1pm and was able to get in easily. The Nagoya Cochin, dried fish, and clam soup had a rich soy sauce flavor. The noodles were thin whole wheat noodles, which might be a matter of personal preference. The thinly sliced pork was tasty, and the seasoned bamboo shoots added a nice touch. My partner ordered the dried fish ramen with hand-kneaded noodles, which had a strong dried fish flavor in the soup and the hand-kneaded noodles had a slight udon-like texture.

I had soy sauce ramen. As mentioned on the menu, the flavors of chicken, dried sardines, and clams combined together beautifully and were very delicious. The noodles were thin and absorbed the soup well, making a perfect match! The taste was light but satisfying, and overall it was a very delicious ramen.

Hello, it's RamenWalking! Today I visited Harinezumi, a ramen shop in Takatsuki City, and tried their "Niboshi Brown" ramen. The soup is a double soup made with Nagoya Cochin chicken and dried sardines. The flavor is a good balance of sardines, chicken, and soy sauce, with no overwhelming fishiness. The handmade noodles are irregularly shaped and soft, perfect for soaking up the soup. The toppings include tender char siu, bamboo shoots, green onions, and onions, with an additional flavorful soft-boiled egg. The ramen had a delicious subtle sardine flavor without being overpowering. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. Thank you, Harinezumi ramen shop!

Arrived at 11:10 on a regular day. One person waiting. It seems like you can wait for about 3 people inside the store. The high temperature was a relief. They have a limited 15 servings on weekdays and 25 servings on holidays of their dried fish broth ramen, so I thought it might be crowded in the morning. There was usually about one person waiting. I was there for the dried fish broth ramen, but since it was their day off, I ordered the limited white soy sauce ramen for 1000 yen. Soup: The clam broth was strong and the dried fish flavor was subtle and delicious. The white soy sauce had a soft saltiness and a balanced taste, making it delicious. Noodles: The whole wheat flat hand-kneaded noodles had a good chewiness and a delicious wheat flavor. The balance was good and the taste was gentle and delicious. They have many types of ramen, so I want to visit again a few times. Thank you for the meal~.

Visit date and time: 10:35 on Sunday with light rain Wait time: 25 minutes (waiting for the shop to open) Menu: White soy sauce ramen (whole wheat flat noodles) for 1,000 yen + flavored egg for 100 yen After a long time, I went on a ramen shop tour in Takatsuki. This time, I visited Harinezumi, which I hadn't been to before. I was the fourth person in line, 25 minutes before opening. I ordered the limited menu item of white soy sauce ramen. I had planned not to get any toppings since I wanted to visit another shop, but the flavored egg looked so delicious that I couldn't resist. The flat noodles had a unique texture due to being flattened. The white soy sauce soup was delicious. Even though I usually try not to drink too much soup, it was so tasty that I ended up drinking over half of it. The customer service at the shop was great, and it was a cozy place, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to have lunch in Takatsuki area and visited the restaurant before it opened. When I arrived, there were already three groups waiting. I got in on the first round and ordered the limited menu white soy sauce ramen. Personally, I loved the soup. Visiting this restaurant for the first time was a great choice.

La Ramen Shop Harinezumi‼️ It's located a short walk from Takatsuki Station‼️ This visit is quite rare for me, maybe it's been about 4 years since I last came here⁉️ I arrived around 11:30 am and there were already a few customers inside, with more coming in one after another‼️ There was even a line forming inside‼️ This time I ordered the Niboshi Brown with a seasoned egg topping‼️ I also got a side of meat rice, which I had last time as well‼️ The soy sauce clear broth soup is packed with the umami of Nagoya Cochin chicken and a strong niboshi flavor‼️ The homemade hand-kneaded noodles are slightly curly, flat and medium-thick, and they go really well with the niboshi-infused soup‼️ The texture of the green onions, the sweetness of the red onions, and the soft and crunchy menma are all delicious‼️ The seasoned egg topping was perfectly runny, with a well-seasoned yolk that added to the flavor‼️ The rare sliced pork was tender, meaty, and delicious‼️ The meat rice had green onions and diced rare sliced pork, with a tangy sauce that complemented the dish well and made the rice very appetizing‼️ It was a delicious bowl of hearty niboshi ramen that I hadn't had in a long time‼️

Monday 13:05. The counter was full, but there was a seat waiting to be cleared so I was able to sit down right away. The owner and a part-timer were running the place. The warm sunlight coming in from outside and the high ceiling created a very pleasant atmosphere. The counter was shaped like an irregular "C", with the owner working in the middle. I ordered the Soy Sauce Ramen (with whole wheat thin noodles) for ¥950. The soup was made with Nagoya Cochin chicken, dried fish, and clams, creating a well-balanced and delicious Chinese-style ramen. The homemade whole wheat noodles had a lot of black spots compared to other places, giving off a nice wheat aroma. The slightly salty rare chashu was very moist and tasty. While it may not be a super highly recommended place due to the high level of competition for Chinese ramen, it's definitely a great option for delicious traditional Chinese ramen in the Takatsuki area.

Visited the restaurant on Wednesday at 10:55. Arrived 5 minutes before opening. Was second in line. Ordered the Niboshi Brown with flavored egg. The soup was light and delicious. If you expect a strong anchovy flavor, you may not feel it much. The noodles had a smooth texture.

I visited this restaurant around 2 pm on a weekday after a long time. They are usually only open during the day, so I haven't been able to visit often. Today, I had some time off from work so I was able to stop by. I parked my car at a nearby coin parking lot and entered the restaurant. Luckily, there was no line and I was able to get in right away. There were only two other customers ahead of me, so I was fortunate. I ordered the soy sauce ramen and the regular size of meat rice. The dishes were prepared efficiently and served shortly after. The soup was made without any chemical seasonings, with whole wheat thin noodles, and the default toppings included 2 slices of chashu, sliced bamboo shoots, and green onions, keeping it simple. First, I tried the soup, which was delicious with a slightly strong flavor of dried fish without feeling lacking in any way. The thin noodles were easy to slurp and went down smoothly. The noodles paired well with the sliced bamboo shoots. Eating different textures together makes the experience more enjoyable. The chashu was well-seasoned and had a strong presence even with just 2 slices. The meat rice was served with warmed chopped chashu on top before being brought to the table, showing that extra care was taken. The sauce was likely mixed with mustard, giving a nice acidity that made the rice go down easily. Finally, I poured the soup over the rice and enjoyed it along with the sauce. It was delicious and I finished every last bit.

"La Menya Harinezumi" is the name of the restaurant. This was my first visit since September 1st last year. I ordered the Niboshi Ramen for 900 yen with a boiled egg and extra chashu topping for 250 yen. I arrived around 11:00 and there was one other group of 2 customers already there. It took about 10 minutes for my ramen to arrive. The toppings included chashu, green onions, menma, seasoned egg, and mitsuba. The noodles were homemade medium-thick noodles that were hand-kneaded. The soup was a clear broth made from niboshi, which was the highlight of the dish. The flavors were extracted perfectly without being overpowering. The noodles were smooth and had a great texture, complementing the soup well. The chashu was thick and satisfying, adding a meaty richness to the dish. The seasoned egg provided a nice balance of flavors with its creamy and sweet taste. The thinly sliced menma added a notable presence and the mitsuba provided a refreshing accent. Overall, it was a delicious meal and I enjoyed it while listening to the music of Masayoshi Yamazaki. It was a delightful experience.

"Niboshi Brown" for 950 yen. On the way back from Kyoto in March 2023, I visited this ramen shop for my second bowl. They are closed on Sundays, so it was a bit challenging to visit, but I made it there after parking my car at a nearby coin parking lot around 13:15. There were empty seats inside the shop, and I quickly sat at the counter. The "Niboshi Brown" was still available, limited to 15 servings, and I was excited to try it as I have always enjoyed their food in the past. The bowl arrived shortly with medium-sized chashu slices, menma, negi, and onions. The soup had a nice soy sauce color with floating niboshi powder. Let's dig in! First, the soup... The aroma of niboshi was subtle yet inviting, and the balance of chicken and niboshi flavors was excellent. The chicken, made with Nagoya Cochin, added a rich umami taste, but the niboshi flavor was outstanding. There was no overwhelming fishiness, and the saltiness from the niboshi was just right, resulting in a delicious soup. It might be the best chicken and niboshi soup I've had recently. The diced onions added a nice texture and flavor that complemented the soup. The medium-thick, hand-cut noodles were flavorful and paired well with the soup. The thinly sliced chashu looked rare but was surprisingly meaty and incredibly tasty. The balance of lean and fatty parts was perfect, making it tender and moist. The small strips of menma were unexpectedly delicious. I added some pepper, and it elevated the dish even more. I couldn't help but crave a beer to go with this amazing bowl. It was my second bowl, but it was definitely a bowl worth savoring till the last drop. Thank you for the meal!

A popular ramen shop near Takatsuki Station that I definitely want to visit again. Looking back, this shop has been open for 6 years already! When it first opened, my wife and I visited twice. The memories of this shop include the owner's great sense of style, and the three types of ramen we tried were delicate yet impactful in flavor. I really wanted to visit again. It's about a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Takatsuki Station, along Route 171. I arrived around 11:15 am, lucky there was no line. The interior is clean and bright, with a counter seating for about 10 people. It was just full when I arrived. The shop is run by a husband and wife, and there were many female customers. Looking at the menu reminded me of the first time I tried the "Shoyu Ramen" at this shop! It had a refined taste with Nagoya Cochin, dried sardines, and shellfish. It was delicious! But today, I ordered the "Miso Ramen" and "Niku Meshi" that left a strong impression on me during my second visit. They came out fairly quickly. First, the appearance! In the middle, there was a roasted tomato and Italian parsley! Very original! I took a sip of the soup. Hmm! ... it's miso flavor, but the acidity of the tomato and the Italian spices create a unique taste I've never experienced before. Delicious! The miso ramen usually comes with medium-thick noodles, but the straight thin noodles here go well with it! The diced chashu was also well done. Delicious! And the "Niku Meshi" had a sophisticated and subtly delicious flavor with balsamic vinegar. Of course, I finished the soup as well! I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. Once again, it was a delicious bowl that made me feel the owner's good sense and creativity.

I went to Harinezumi in Takatsuki for lunch. It seemed quite popular so I went early and waited. The clientele seemed to be mostly women. I ordered the brown ramen with dried fish and the meat rice bowl. The ramen was very delicious. The meat rice bowl was more like a dish of chashu and rice. The sauce had a strong acidity, which masked the flavor a bit. A bit disappointing. Overall, the ramen was delicious as expected from a ramen shop. Thank you for the meal.

It was a holiday, so I arrived at the restaurant within 10 minutes of opening, but it was already packed and a line had formed behind me. I ordered the Niboshi Brown with seasoned egg and chashu, as well as the Chashu Meat Rice (regular size). The thick-cut chashu with mustard and sauce on the meat rice was delicious. There are only delicious elements here. I will definitely come back to try the other ramen dishes.

Dried fish brown ramen (limited to 15 servings) ¥950 Flavored egg ¥100 The double soup of dried fish and chicken broth has a slight bitterness but a very elegant taste ◎ The noodles are thin and straight, with a high fragrance ◎ The char siu is rare and thinly sliced but juicy ◎ The purple spring onion adds a refreshing touch ◎ They seem to be very meticulous in their work ◎ The balance between the cheerful female owner and the reserved master is also good ◎

A shop located right across the street from the city hall. Visited on a Thursday before 1pm. There was no line and I was able to enter right away. There were a few solo female diners, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The music playing in the shop was by Masayoshi Yamazaki. I tried the Soy Sauce Ramen (made with whole grain thin noodles) for 950 yen. I took a sip of the clear soup and thought, "Oh, this is delicious." It's a natural taste that makes you want to drink every last drop. The blend of umami and soy sauce was beautiful. It was my first time having such thin noodles made with whole grain, but the texture and the scent of wheat were nice, and it paired well with the clear soup. There were plenty of thinly sliced bamboo shoots, which added a nice touch. The rare char siu had a coarse ground pepper aroma, similar to pastrami, and was delicious. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I was satisfied with the meticulous bowl of ramen. Definitely worth a visit when you're near the city hall or library.
