I was looking forward to visiting Ushigoro's new town-style yakiniku restaurant. What sets it apart from other Ushigoro locations is the choice of spice levels for their spicy sauce: "Umakara" (mildly spicy), "Dai-kara" (spicy), and "Oni-kara" (super spicy), which can be selected based on the menu items. Initially, I tried "Umakara" after consulting with the staff, and even for someone who isn't great with spicy food, it was manageable. I also tried "Dai-kara" next, which was delicious as well. ● Tomato Namul ¥500 - Made with homemade tomatoes. ● Kimchi Platter ¥900 - Includes napa cabbage kimchi, kakuteki (radish kimchi), and avocado kimchi. ● Jumbo Mushroom ¥450 - This giant mushroom is almost as big as a shiitake, simply seasoned with salt. The accompanying soup was packed with umami! ● Choregi Salad ¥900 - Tossed with homemade sesame oil-based dressing. ● White Senmai Sashimi ¥900 - Served with scallions and cucumber. ● Umakara Kobukuro Sashimi ¥800 - Low-temperature cooked kobukuro (pig's intestines) served with homemade umakara sauce. ● Extreme Tongue ¥3200 - Thinly sliced from the tongue root and seasoned with a secret spice blend, it's a signature dish at Ushigoro. ● Ultimate Thick-Sliced Tongue ¥2300 - Cut to 20mm from the center of the tongue, it cooks up with a smoky flavor reminiscent of duck. ● Harami (Sakari) - With umakara sauce. ● Special Grilled Ribeye ¥1900 - Served with sauce. ● Rib Chop ¥2000 - Served with sauce. ● Shima Chou (Intestines) with Dai-kara sauce ¥900. ● Cubed Wagyu with Garlic Soy Sauce ¥1900 - Using the rump cut, available in limited quantities. ● White Cold Noodles ¥1000 - With a chicken broth base seasoned with bonito flakes, ginger, and apple vinegar—Ushigoro's cold noodles are truly delicious! ● Red Cold Noodles ¥1000 - A new spicy variation that also tastes great. ● Takana Garlic Rice ¥900. ● Seasonal Sorbet ¥600 - Pear sorbet, which was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it! I also ordered rice during the meal, which complemented the dishes beautifully. Even though it’s called town-style yakiniku, the quality of the meat is outstanding, as expected from Ushigoro, and all items are worth the price. I look forward to visiting again!

I visited the wonderfully tucked-away "TRATT. USHIGORO," just a short walk from Ebisu Station. Today, I started early with a reservation for a private room. 【What We Had】 First, we toasted with some draft beer. ☆ The raw beef tripe was a great texture, and the sweet and spicy miso sauce paired well with it. ☆ Kimchi platter included avocado, napa cabbage, and cubed radish, each with a unique taste—delicious! ☆ Ribeye steak with special onion soda was beautifully cut and thick, melting in my mouth with that amazing Ushigoro quality. ☆ The ultimate thick-cut tongue had hidden knife marks, an unprecedented thickness, and even though it was well-cooked, it was incredibly juicy for tongue. ☆ Wagyu salt harami was tender with just the right chewiness, also extremely juicy. ☆ Large grilled beef tripe was served as a big piece, cut into smaller pieces with scissors. ☆ Special cold noodles (white and red) were surprisingly refreshing, making them perfect to finish the meal; I like to adjust the spiciness of the white noodles with super spicy green peppers on the side. This time, we even enjoyed a seasonal sorbet for dessert. Each time, I base my choices on the items I always order, and today was no exception with my a la carte selections. Capturing photos and videos of the impactful cuts of meat adds to the fun. The meat quality was, as expected, excellent. Thank you very much!

It brings a nostalgic feeling while incorporating modern elements, making it a unique and exciting experience. The ultimate thick-sliced tongue has an amazing thickness. When carefully grilled with fine cuts on the surface, it turns out to be softer and has a nice crisp texture—definitely a dish I would love to try at other restaurants too! The cubed Wagyu beef pairs perfectly with garlic soy sauce, and the Wagyu salt short rib is juicy with an explosion of meat juices (laughs). The ribeye steak comes with a special onion sauce which is enjoyable. The white cow stomach sashimi is also exceptional! The jumbo mushrooms provide a natural broth that is delightful—it teases the nose with its aroma. We finished off with spicy tteokbokki soup. The reasonable prices and high satisfaction really stand out! I definitely want to visit again!

The drink menu is extensive, and I highly recommend the Clam & Tomato Sour, which includes not only tomato juice but also clam broth. There are also delicious green sours made with kale, as well as herb-based and internal organ beauty sours. I ordered the Avocado Kimchi for ¥700, which is a luxurious take on kimchi. The White Beef Tripe Sashimi was ¥900, and it was a fantastic appetizer that pairs perfectly with drinks. For the main highlights, the Ultimate Thick-Cut Beef Tongue was ¥2,800 and perfectly grilled, as the grilling level is crucial for tongue. The Cubed Wagyu with Garlic Soy Sauce was ¥1,900, bursting with flavor. The Upper Minced Beef Steak was only ¥1,200 and presented a unique long cut of meat. The white rice is priced at a bargain: ¥100 for small, ¥200 for medium, and ¥300 for large—very reasonable for a yakiniku place. I recommend starting with rice in hand to enjoy with the grilled meat. On November 29, a day celebrated once a year as "IiiNiku Day," I indulged in some exquisite yakiniku at the highly talked-about "TRATT. USHIGORO," which opened on September 24, 2024, in Ebisu. True to the Yakiniku Ushigoro group, the quality of the black-haired Wagyu beef exceeds expectations. The theme here is "town yakiniku," and each dish is served in portions for 3 to 4 people, making it a perfect place to enjoy a lively meal with family and friends. Each cut of meat comes with recommended ways to enjoy it, altering the sauces and spice levels to enhance the flavors. Although we ordered a variety of dishes, my favorites were: - **Ultimate Thick-Cut Beef Tongue** - ¥2,300 A 2 to 3 cm thick beef tongue that's crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. With each bite, the rich flavor of the meat bursts out. This is a must-try item. - **Rib Maki** - ¥2,400 This beautifully marbled rib maki ignites flames from the fat when grilled. It's so tender that you barely need your teeth. Ushigoro, known for its ultra-premium yakiniku, has surprisingly opened a new restaurant themed around "town yakiniku." This establishment combines Ushigoro's quality with a casual atmosphere and great cost performance, making it perfect for everyday use. It's located a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station. Upon exiting the west exit, turn left and walk along the tracks for about 300 meters, with Atre West Building on your right. The restaurant is on the second floor of a shop selling miscellaneous goods. Despite being a town yakiniku place, it retains Ushigoro’s signature style. The interior is chic and bistro-like, with private rooms also available. The menu only offers a la carte items, no courses. A unique feature is the three types of dipping sauces available for grilled items (mild spicy, spicy, and super spicy), allowing for customization and taste comparisons. For appetizers, we had avocado kimchi, napa cabbage kimchi, and tomato namul. The appetizers featured many variations in ingredients and preparation, and the avocado kimchi was unlike anything I’d tried before, with a delightful texture and flavor that became addictive. The tomato namul was also incredibly tasty. For sashimi, we enjoyed spicy liver (kobukuro) sashimi and heart yukhoe. Both were incredibly fresh with great texture. The spicy kobukuro was plump, while the rich, melting heart yukhoe was perfect for snacking. For the premium meats, we ordered the ultimate thick-cut tongue, Japanese wagyu salt harami, ribeye steak, and cubed wagyu with garlic soy sauce, as well as rib cap for marbled cuts and superior loin and ribeye for lean cuts. The thickness of the beef tongue was astonishing! While grilling is primarily self-service, we had the staff grill it for us, achieving a crispy exterior while carefully cooking it. The beef tongue's juices and flavors were encapsulated, delivering an ultimate taste experience. Both the lean and marbled cuts showed exceptional meat quality, enhanced by inventive serving options like green onion salt sauce and garlic soy sauce. You could enjoy different flavors from the same cuts with variations in thickness and spicy dipping sauces, showcasing the various charms of the meat. For offals, we had upper beef intestine steak and beef cheek. I had never seen offals cut so beautifully. Both the intestine and cheek were far beyond what I had experienced before. I highly recommend this to offal lovers as well as those who might typically be averse to them; it will surely change their perception of offals. The drink menu features homage to local favorites like downtown highballs and umeshu, originally from Noge. It was a delightful surprise to find such local specialties at Ushigoro. Other unique drinks include homemade cardamom shochu and a sour made with clams and tomatoes, providing a fun selection. It’s clear that Ushigoro maintains its high-quality standards. This new location offers greater versatility, allowing guests to enjoy offals and local drinks in a town yakiniku setting. While upscale venues can be hard to access, and local yakiniku places have their own challenges, this restaurant fills a gap that seemed missing in the dining scene. This is a restaurant version of Ushigoro with a town yakiniku concept. I visited here to celebrate this year's "Good Meat Day." It seems that the concept is to provide town-style yakiniku, so it's more affordable compared to regular Ushigoro, but since it's Ushigoro, the quality of the meat is exceptional. Everything I tried was delicious! The standout for me was the cubed wagyu. As the name suggests, it's cut into cube-shaped pieces, and the texture was astonishing. I've never tasted such tender meat before! The garlic soy sauce dipping sauce was a perfect match as well! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and left completely satisfied. I really regret that I can't drink alcohol… (crying) I definitely want to come back and eat here again. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant, a branch of Ushigoro, which is listed as one of the top Yakiniku spots, opened its new casual meat place in September this year. We made a reservation for 5 people on a weekday at 6:30 PM. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is a bit casual. Since many of our group members don’t drink much, we ordered more meat. The staff advised us on the portion sizes, mentioning that each plate serves 3-5 people. The first dish was a mixed kimchi platter, which included avocado kimchi and was delicious. The spicy beef intestines sashimi was also great, thanks to the tasty sauce! Every meat dish was wonderful, but I particularly enjoyed the Wagyu salt harami, ribeye steak, and premium grilled loin. The beers were reasonably priced at 660 yen a cup, and the meats and drinks were affordable yet maintained the Ushigoro quality. We enjoyed every bite until the very end. **Ordered items:** 1. It’s very convenient for regular use. 【Personal Opinion】 I personally believe that Ushigoro's yakiniku restaurants are reliable and don’t disappoint, but with prices usually around 10000-15000 yen, I often thought, “It's delicious, but there are other options.” However, this restaurant, where you can enjoy a meal for under 10000 yen, is much easier to consider. The well-known "Ushigoro" brand works to its advantage here. The interior is spacious, allowing for good distance between tables, so conversations are comfortable without stress. It seems that a new brand just opened in Ebisu on September 24th. The atmosphere is very casual, and the menu is quite extensive! It was also pretty close from Ebisu, making it easy to get there. I got to try their new spicy sauce, and it was delicious! The table seating is fairly spacious, so I think it would be a great spot for year-end parties or girls' nights out. This time, I visited during dinner, but I heard they also serve lunch on weekends and holidays, so I’d like to try that next time. Here’s what we ordered this time: - Premium Tongue - Special Grilled Ribeye - Spicy Cod Intestine Sashimi - White Center Sashimi - Heart Yukhoe - Avocado Kimchi - Mixed Offal - Beef Cheek - Heart - Stewed Beef Tendon and Offal in Spicy Sauce - Special Cold Noodles (White) - White Rice The meat is grilled by yourself, which is nice because you can cook it to your liking! For the offal, you could choose the sauce in advance, and the dishes turned out delicious! The sashimi, which was highly recommended, was incredibly tasty! The special cold noodles are a must-try! There were both white and red options, but choosing the white was definitely the right decision; it was rich and delicious.

My ultimate favorite dish is the rib wrap, and recently I've also been loving the tsurami at this yakiniku restaurant! Each plate is huge, enough for 3 to 4 people, so it's great value for money. Unfortunately, the rib wrap wasn't available that day, but the wagyu salt harami and cubed wagyu were a smash hit! The hormone (organ meat) had a rich miso flavor that guys really love, and the senmai sashimi was fresh and crunchy. The komtan soup was even better than my country mom's! #yakinikuisjustice

⭐︎ I made a reservation for around 8:00 PM on Tuesday! ⭐︎ The restaurant was fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation. ⭐︎ It's ideal for 2 or more people, and the seating is spacious, so even with 4 people, we felt comfortable! ✨ The meat and vegetables were all truly delicious ( ᐛ )و Of course, the salad and soup were also excellent! ❗️✨ The service from the staff was great, and it has become a place I want to visit again! ✨

If you know, you know about “Ushigoro.” This restaurant has amazing portion sizes with each dish packed with meat! It’s perfect for having fun with friends and family (recommended for groups of 3 to 4!) And the most important thing is the meat quality. No matter what you order, it’s fresh and there’s nothing to hinder your enjoyment in your mouth, which is fantastic! There's a new spicy sauce that I just had to try. Here are my “Unforgettable Top 3”: 3rd Place: Ultimate Thick-Cut Tongue - 2,300 yen It’s thick-cut, but why is it so easy to chew? 2nd Place: Cubed Wagyu with Garlic Soy Sauce (limited quantity) - 1,900 yen This is a must-order! 1st Place: Premium Seared Ribeye with Sauce - 1,900 yen Just a quick sear for three seconds! It melts in your mouth. I hear they also have lunch on weekends and holidays!
