I was invited to check out a wonderful soba restaurant that opened on May 23 in Ebisu 1-chome, which is a new spot by the famous Zeton! The interior is, of course, lovely! What amazed me the most was the "O-seiro Soba (3-4 servings for 1800 yen)." What's great is that there are six different dipping sauce options! Today we enjoyed four types with everyone: duck broth, nameko mushroom, rich sesame, and beef sukiyaki, all served with a raw egg. They were all delicious! However, the rich sesame sauce utterly impressed me—it was rich yet refreshing and clung beautifully to the soba! I definitely want to come back for more! While I initially came for the soba, the other dishes were incredibly tasty as well! We ordered the "Soba-zukuri 5-item assortment for 1800 yen," which included: - Itawasa (sliced steamed fish) - Duck wasabi - Soba miso cucumber - Extra-thick menma (bamboo shoots) - Potato salad The soba miso was amazing—I could eat just this forever, haha! We also had: - Domestic eel roll for 2400 yen - Salt-grilled gray dried mackerel for 1200 yen - Fried eggplant and mochi stir-fried with meat miso for 800 yen - Duck grilled on a hot plate for 1650 yen - Stir-fried tomatoes with miso and parmesan cheese for 800 yen (I personally loved this one) The daily sashimi selection was also terrific, and the dishes aside from soba were quite rich and delicious! The miso dishes, in particular, were outstanding—with my favorite Kanpachi available too! Another highlight was the soba shochu mixed with soba tea; the aroma doubled due to the soba + soba combo, making it incredibly tasty! There was also a unique option of soba shochu mixed with soba-yu (soba noodle cooking water)—you can choose between light or rich; I opted for the rich version! This was a new experience, with a smooth texture that’s quite addictive! I can’t wait to go back! #SobaIkkon #EbisuGourmet #EbisuLunch #EbisuDinner #SobaIkkon #EbisuSoba #EbisuDate #EbisuSoba #Ebisu1ChomeSobaIkkon #SobaDining

I was wandering around Ebisu when I stumbled upon a lovely soba restaurant✨ They have a variety of choices for lunch, including appetizers! In the photo, you can see the five assorted appetizers. The wasabi for the board of sashimi is a wasabi paste. Wow, it was absolutely delightful! I paired it with Hakurakusei sake, which has a refreshing taste and is delicious. The juicy duck sashimi made the sake even more enjoyable! The mozuku seaweed, kinpira burdock, and ohitashi (seasoned greens) were all tasty. For the main dish, I chose the soba with fried burdock. To my surprise, the burdock was actually in the form of a tempura! It was crispy and delicious♥ The soba itself had a wonderful texture as well! I definitely want to come back in the evening. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I went with my junior colleague to a soba restaurant they wanted to try. It was a place near Ebisu, and while I could think of several soba izakayas in the area, this was my first time visiting this particular one. I wonder how many soba izakayas there are in Ebisu? (laughs) It’s true that if you have delicious soba at an izakaya, you don’t have to go get something to eat afterward, which is convenient. Oh, I mean, it’s not like I go out for late-night snacks that often (laughs). The menu featured various dishes like sashimi and other izakaya staples, along with several types of tempura, which is typical for a soba restaurant. Since they pride themselves on their soba, there was a wide selection of soba dishes. This time, I ordered the tororo seiro. My colleague seemed to want the large seiro, but three to four servings might be too much for just the two of us... Maybe we’ll come back with a bigger group next time. They also had several varieties of sake, which was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The tempura pumpkin was undercooked and hard, and while the tempura fish was large and impressive, I felt the batter and flavor needed a little more refinement. The shrimp tempura was disappointing due to the batter being a bit off. However, the cold soba noodles were well-prepared, having been thoroughly chilled in cold water, which was great. If you're just looking to eat the soba, it might be worth it.

I used this restaurant for a party of ten. The interior had a calm atmosphere, which I really liked! There were plenty of menu options, so it was hard to choose. While many soba izakayas are casual, this one seems suitable for business meetings as well. The tempura was fantastic! For the final soba dish, you can choose from several types of dipping sauces, so you can pick your favorite!

A new soba restaurant has opened behind the Subaru Tokyo headquarters near the north exit of Ebisu. It's still quite fresh. The menu has some high-end options. I ordered the tororo soba (1,250 yen). It has an elegant feel to it. The soba is firm and delicious. There is a generous amount of tororo, which is a nice surprise, and it also comes with a quail egg. The soba-yu (soba water) is thick and milky, and it tastes great. While it's a bit on the pricey side, it's definitely satisfying as an occasional treat.

I was invited by a coworker and went to the restaurant. It was very lively over the weekend, and they said you need a reservation to get in. Since we went during the week, we were able to enter without a reservation. I had the soba with tempura, and while it was delicious, I was left with a strong impression that the sweet potato was hard, which was disappointing because the dish was otherwise good. The ice cream for dessert was tasty! The staff's service and demeanor were very good. There are also various choices for drinking snacks, so I think I could enjoy coming back multiple times.

I had a set of soba and a mini tempura bowl. The soba dipping sauce is a sweet and savory Edo-style, and the sauce over the tempura bowl is also sweet and salty. The soba is delicious, but its aroma is a bit weak. I was satisfied with the tempura bowl. It's a new place and not an independent shop, but it feels like they are "intentionally" trying to create a traditional taste. It reminds me of how recent chain sushi restaurants are promoting authentic sushi using red vinegar. I found out it’s part of the Zettin Group. In the evening, you could probably enjoy some appetizers, drinks, and soba for around 5,000 to 6,000 yen. It seems like a stylish soba izakaya that would be convenient to use.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time! The interior was more spacious and cleaner than I expected. There were many types of soba to choose from, and I was quite torn, but I ordered the cold soba with beef and Kujo green onions, along with a tempura platter. It was very delicious! I definitely want to visit again.

I finally made it to the soba restaurant "Ikko" in Ebisu that a friend recommended. They have only outdoor seating and are pet-friendly. Since I went on a Sunday after 1 PM, I was able to get in without any wait. I had the chirashi tempura, cold soba with dipping sauce, duck with wasabi, and hot soba. The cold soba was packed with a lot of ingredients like sweet potatoes, lotus root, shrimp, and onions, making it quite filling. The duck with wasabi was delicious and paired nicely with my beer. There were also many other tasty snacks on the menu that caught my eye, so I definitely want to come back for a leisurely visit. The staff was friendly, which was a big plus.

I had been thinking about visiting this restaurant next to Rurion since it opened, but I ended up forgetting to make a reservation at Rurion and decided to give this place a try instead. The interior was stylish and spacious, with a second floor as well. I ordered a set of tempura donburi and soba noodles. The soba was white, smooth, and had a firm texture, which made it delicious. I usually prefer 100% buckwheat, but I enjoyed the nice texture of this soba for a change. The tempura donburi was well-balanced, with flavorful ingredients that tasted great. I would like to try the curry next time.

I tried something other than soba for the first time. It had a lot of pork belly and ground meat, making it quite filling. Rather than a traditional curry rice from an old soba shop, it tasted more like a home-cooked style curry, reminiscent of something made for staff meals.

An elegant and calm soba restaurant located in a back alley of Ebisu, Tokyo. The staff's service was excellent, and the place had a chic, sophisticated atmosphere that still felt casual and enjoyable. Dining here felt pleasantly adult, as we started with some drinks and appetizers before finishing off with soba. There were several men dining alone and some groups of women, making it suitable for various occasions. **Order Summary:** - **Horse Sashimi from Aizu:** 1,950 yen. This was different from the usual horse sashimi, as it was tender and flavorful. - **Cream Cheese White Dressed Salad:** 1,450 yen. Made with cream cheese, it featured simmered persimmons and sweet potatoes, capturing the essence of autumn. - **Hot Beef Tendon Stew:** 1,450 yen. The bowl was quite authentic. The stew included tender beef tendon and konjac, not as rich as the Osaka version, but not cheap-tasting either—it wasn’t bad at all. - **Tomato Miso Stir-fry with Parmesan Cheese:** 850 yen. While it might seem Italian due to the cheese and tomatoes, the prominent miso flavor brought a solid Japanese essence. - **Shrimp Tempura (2 pieces):** 1,000 yen. - **Duck Seiro Soba:** 1,000 yen. The soba was quite good, flavorful and delicious. However, the duck seemed a bit lackluster. **Impressions:** The food was decent, but the atmosphere and service were very good. The cost-performance ratio was reasonable. It’s a stylish place that’s easy to drop by. Thank you for the meal! **Additional Details:** - **Location:** 5-minute walk from JR Ebisu Station - **Entry Time:** 8:20 PM - **Duration of Stay:** About 100 minutes - **Situation:** No waiting time - **Number of Visitors:** Dining with my wife - **Service:** Excellent smiles, friendliness, and responsiveness - **Atmosphere:** A chic and calm environment - **Cost-Performance:** Standard - **Visit Rating:** 3.34

I recently visited "Soba Ikko," which just opened in Ebisu. The restaurant has a spacious interior with two floors, and I chose a seat by the window on the first floor. From the menu, I selected the tempura donburi set, and it was filling with everything tasting delicious. #SobaIkko #EbisuGourmet #Lunch #NewRestaurant #Soba #Seiro #TempuraDon #ZaruSoba #SobaYuu #ConnectWithFoodLovers

The food was very delicious, and the atmosphere was great. If you make a reservation for two, you'll be seated side by side, which I think would raise the excitement when going with someone special. It was a bit difficult to find the place because it seems that the restaurant's information isn't listed on Google Maps.

I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal in a quiet space divided by a noren (fabric curtain) at the corner on the second floor. I chose the 5000 yen course, and it was enough to fill me up, with delicious flavors and great cost performance. Most importantly, the soba noodles were incredibly tasty! There were so many intriguing menu items that I look forward to coming back next time for an à la carte experience.

For lunch, I had maitake mushroom tempura seiro soba for 1,350 yen. The maitake mushrooms were very large, crispy, and had a lot more volume than it looked, making them incredibly delicious. The soba noodles also had a great chewiness and were made with care. Additionally, there was rock salt available, which made eating both the soba and tempura even tastier. Personally, I appreciated that the ends of the chopsticks were very thin, adding to the overall sense of elegance. The restaurant's atmosphere was stylish, making it easy for a woman to enter alone without feeling out of place.

I visited a soba restaurant called "Ikko," located a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station on the Hibiya Line. I had the Ikko course, which consists of six dishes. Every dish was delicious, allowing me to truly appreciate the beauty of Japanese cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, with warm lighting. However, the community table I was seated at was close to the neighboring diners, making me a bit self-conscious about the volume of my voice and the conversations around me, which made it difficult to relax and have a conversation. Additionally, the speed of food delivery seemed slow; I noticed that I had to wait quite a bit, similar to other guests who arrived at the same time. I also found it awkward that the presentation of the appetizers varied; some guests received a plate per person, while others shared a plate between two people. Depending on who you dine with, this could lead to some uncomfortable situations.

This is a soba restaurant located in a quiet area about a 5-minute walk from Ebisu East Exit, where you can enjoy drinks. Since I had made an early reservation, I was able to enter smoothly. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice, and the staff were very pleasant. I had a variety of dishes including板わさ (sliced fish cake), horse sashimi, thick omelet, black maitake mushroom tempura, soba noodles to finish, and sake. While the soba was excellent, I personally recommend the板わさ for its chewy texture and the thick omelet, which was full of delicious broth. I would love to visit again.

In May, a new soba restaurant called Zetton opened. I visited for lunch for the first time and had the tempura seiro for 2,200 yen (tax included). The tempura was crispy and crunchy, and it seemed to be made with 80% buckwheat flour. They had a lot of options on the dinner menu, so I'd like to visit again in the evening if I get the chance.

I was curious about this newly opened place and visited for the first time with my coworkers. There were plenty of side dishes (though the portions were small, and we talked a lot about work, so I only managed to take photos of the tempura platter and the soba...) It was a soba restaurant where the drinks kept flowing. Everything was delicious, but I felt that the service and prices didn't quite match up.
