After a health check-up on a hot summer day, I wanted to eat a hearty meal, so I chose the 60-minute all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink lunch at Ushinoya, located near Sapporo Station North Exit. The first serving included locally sourced salted hormone, pork belly, chicken thigh, and raw heart. Since some items take a while to cook, I just kept putting them on the grill and flipped and ate them as they cooked, while enjoying beer. I ordered three more types of meat and had a total of five drinks, filling up my stomach. I still think the salted hormone is the best here!

I visited for lunch on Saturday. They were fully booked, but managed to squeeze me in for just one hour. The lunch set was cheap. All-you-can-eat was also cheap, but I didn't have enough time. I had the Genghis Khan comparison set meal. It was delicious.

I was in meat mode, so I tried the all-you-can-eat menu which started with 4 types of kalbi, harami, pork, and beef horumon. After that, it was order-based. Despite being quite crowded, the orders came out quickly after placing them. I had the impression that you usually have to wait a lot with all-you-can-eat, but this was great! The meat itself was decent, not good or bad, I personally felt like I could just keep going with the two types of lamb. For dessert, you choose one from the selection, and I ordered almond jelly. The drink (soft drink) was also reasonably priced at 250 yen. This restaurant seems to be a friend of salarymen. For some reason, 80s nostalgic pop music was playing in the restaurant.

☆LP☆ Returning from Osaka to Sapporo. For some reason, the end of the journey always seems to end with yakiniku for LP. I visited this yakiniku restaurant near the station for the first time. It was around 2:30 pm and the restaurant was predictably empty. While they had all-you-can-eat options, I decided to go with a la carte since it was my first time. I ordered a ramen salad, which came with thick noodles, a bit unusual but I prefer the normal curly yellow noodles. For meat, I had kalbi, pork belly, sausage, and chicken tenderloin. The quality was decent, but whether it's delicious or not depends on your taste (laughs). Nonetheless, it's fun to have yakiniku in a bright atmosphere. I've eaten a lot during my trip, but my stomach is still going strong! I also opted for all-you-can-drink, but unfortunately, the glasses were a bit dirty, and I had to get one exchanged because something was stuck inside and they were cloudy. It only happened once, but it may be a bit off-putting for those concerned about hygiene. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll revisit, but for now, I recommend having yakiniku during the day (laughs).

I usually go to Tanukikoji Street, but this time I went to Sapporo Station. I recommend making a reservation in advance because it can be quite crowded. I ordered the usual menu items: Sagari (skirt meat), beef tongue, intestine, kalbi (short rib), spinach namul, and kakuteki (beef tenderloin). I went to a shop called "Seiniku Oroshi Chokuei" and had the all-you-can-eat yakiniku by myself. There were several types of all-you-can-eat courses, and I ordered the 2980 yen course. I ordered a separate drink, oolong tea, which was not included in the course. The cheaper all-you-can-eat course was mainly focused on horumon (offal), but this one also allowed you to order kalbi, sagari, and harami. If you wanted to eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), you had to order a higher course. I ordered a variety of items, but the kalbi was especially delicious. I love Asahikawa's salted horumon, but unfortunately it was not included in this course. There was a menu item called "Marunankotsu," which I imagined to be like chicken cartilage, but it looked more like a pelvic bone? However, a pig's pelvic bone is not this small, right...?

There is a shop near the north exit of Sapporo Station, close to the First Joint Government Building. The sign reads "Yakitori En-san" and is located above ground, but the shop is on the B1 floor. Inside the shop, they purchase fresh meat on the same day, so please understand if there are any shortages. The meat is truly fresh! The hormone, liver, heart, everything is delicious and fresh. With this quality, all-you-can-eat hormone for 60 minutes is only 980 yen (tax included). And the best part is, the orders are quick and the food is served fast! The staff work sincerely from the customer's perspective. I have found my favorite spot. I will definitely go again!

I couldn't eat that much and was in the mood for lamb meat, so I ordered the Genghis Khan comparison set meal. It came with two types of meat totaling over 200g, and I was able to get plenty of rice and soup refills. I was satisfied with the amount I could eat. The taste and quality were decent for the price, and if I can eat all I want for a low price, I think this place is good enough.

Near Sapporo Station, we were surprised by the lunch menu at a super cheap yakiniku restaurant! We enjoyed a 58-item, 100-minute all-you-can-eat course. We were delighted to see "Hokkaido milk" on the drink menu. The course included premium pork hormones, cobukuro, local hormones, thick-cut premium pork hormones, white and red cartilage, liver, heart, gizzards, harami, negi-tan, and more. The all-you-can-eat also included vegetables, salad, appetizers, rice, soup, and dessert. By the time we left, the restaurant was fully booked. The table order system made it easy and there were also counter seats for solo diners to relax. Another great thing was that the lamb meat was also all-you-can-eat. We were happy with the variety of local meat and vegetables. The salad and soup portions were huge, so be careful when ordering! 😄✨

It's been a while since I visited, so I chose a well-ventilated restaurant. They offer all-you-can-drink highballs, with various grilled items like sagari, kalbi, lamb tongue, negi shio tongue, and seseri. The grilled vegetables were roughly served, but it added to the charm. The lamb tongue was a hit this time! The texture was great, so I ended up getting seconds.

I went to Sapporo Station for work and stopped by "Gyunoie Kitaguchi Store," a restaurant located on the basement floor of the Belvue Office Sapporo building at the north exit of Sapporo Station. There is no parking lot, so you need to use the underground parking lot at the north exit. This restaurant mainly serves yakiniku at night, but they also offer lunch. I ordered the "Gyukarubi Sagari Teishoku (990 yen)" which includes beef karubi (60g), beef sagari (50g), pork karubi (60g), Hokkaido hormone (60g), vegetables, rice, and soup. Since it's a yakiniku restaurant, you can grill the meat yourself while enjoying your meal. Having yakiniku for lunch felt luxurious and satisfying.

I had the large pork kalbi lunch. It was 300 grams and quite filling. Despite the low price, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the kalbi was thickly sliced. Rice, soup, and water are self-service and all-you-can-eat/drink. The meat was plentiful as expected, and I enjoyed it with plenty of rice. It was really good.

On my regular day off, I enjoy having a lunchtime drink. When I feel like eating horumon near Sapporo Station, I go to Ushinoya. They offer a 60-minute all-you-can-eat horumon for ¥980 and a 60-minute all-you-can-drink for ¥580. I started with salt horumon, pork belly, chicken, and heart, but I asked the waitress to switch the heart for liver. I like heart too, but I wanted to eat liver first. I ordered a salt lemon sour as my drink. The pork salt horumon was sliced thinly, which I prefer. The pork belly had just the right amount of fat and was more like meat, very delicious. The liver was sweet without any unpleasant smell. The chicken was just chicken. I quickly cooked the first set and then moved on to the rule of two items per round. I got miso horumon, miso pork belly, and another salt lemon sour. The miso flavor was also good. I realized I could order draft beer for ¥580, which I hadn't noticed before. I ordered a beer and more salt pork belly and miso pork belly. I also got miso heart. The heart was delicious too. In 60 minutes, I ate plenty of horumon, drank two beers and three salt lemon sours, all for just ¥1716. This is a great deal, so I will definitely visit again soon! (*´꒳`*)

They were seated in a four-person sunken kotatsu table after taking off their shoes. They ordered the lunchtime special, which included a 90-minute all-you-can-drink deal for 580 yen per person, with small jockies of Malt beer. They enjoyed a few drinks and some appetizers, including edamame, shiitake mushrooms, sausages, chicken thighs, and local hormone meat. The youngest member of the group even grilled the edamame along with the meat, making it even more delicious. They also tried some other dishes like tripe stew and soy sauce Yukke. After spending over two hours there, they paid around 5,000 yen for the meal. Despite having already had a good amount to drink, they decided to move on to the next place.

I worked hard jogging in the morning on Saturday, so I treated myself to a lunch drink! I was hungry and thirsty, so I decided to go for yakiniku, where I can drink cheaply. I went down to the basement of the building, put my shoes in the shoebox, and entered the restaurant. The staff called out to me as a solo customer. The restaurant was quite crowded, with other solo customers scattered around. I ordered the all-you-can-drink option for 90 minutes for 580 yen, along with liver miso for 190 yen and heart with salt for 190 yen. I also remembered to order the complimentary spicy garlic and gochujang. The BGM in the restaurant was great, playing 80's J-pop songs that everyone could sing along to. The yakiniku arrived, and we started grilling. The heart was grilled lightly with lemon, and the liver was grilled with sauce, gochujang, and spicy garlic. They were even more delicious considering the price. I kept drinking Premium Malt, and after finishing four glasses in 45 minutes, I decided to order the coarse-ground sausage for 90 yen. I enjoyed it with a salt lemon sour. The sour was a bit weak, so I wondered if I was already drunk. The sausage was perfect for a solo customer, as it was just one piece. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a hint of spice that paired well with the sour. I had two more salt lemon sours and finished with a highball. The bill came to 1500 yen, and I received change. It was indeed a great restaurant! Thank you for the meal.

If you want a good deal, you should go for the all-you-can-eat hormone (980 yen). For those who want to eat delicious meat, I recommend ○○○. As you can see in the photo, I don't think they serve aged meat. The problem came after finishing my meal around 12 o'clock. I was told to pay at my table, so I called a staff member to settle the bill, but even after waiting for 10 minutes, nobody came to help. I tried ringing the bell, but still no one came. It felt like I was being ignored on purpose. After another 10 minutes, I was finally guided to the cashier counter. Maybe they weren't prepared with change. It was unclear. Wasn't I supposed to pay at my table? I understand that they may be short-staffed and dealing with the challenges of the pandemic, but they should try their best.

One day, I felt like drinking in the afternoon. And I wanted to eat meat. I remembered there was a yakiniku restaurant where you can eat and drink. I decided to go there. I thought it would be crowded for lunch, but maybe due to the influence of COVID-19, it wasn't that busy. About 80% of the seats were filled. They had changed to counter seats where social distancing could be maintained and it seemed like they had stopped the buffet style. They had also made some adjustments to how they handed out chopsticks and plates. I started off by having a cold beer. It was delicious. I started with a mixed platter and grilled it up! The horumon (offal) was thin and the taste was okay. I kept ordering more horumon and more beer, filling up my stomach. I ate a lot and drank a lot, and it only cost around 1700 yen! It's cheap!
