We visited a casual Italian restaurant with about 10 people, and it would be great to have a place like this near the university. We tried 4-5 different wines, and surprisingly, the red wine produced by Yoshiki was really delicious. The dishes, including appetizers, meat, pasta, dessert, and espresso, were all top-notch in terms of quality and quantity. You can come here 2-4 times a week without getting tired of it.

I visited for lunch on a Monday. It was past the peak time, but there were two regular-looking customers. The atmosphere was very calm. The lunch menu ranged from 1200 yen. I ordered the chicken cream sauce pasta and homemade ginger ale. First, the ginger ale arrived. It was homemade and had pieces of ginger floating in it, very authentic! The sweetness seemed to be adjusted with syrup. I couldn't really taste the spices, but it was healthy and delicious! The pasta arrived in less than 20 minutes after ordering. The aroma of paprika wafted gently. The presentation and colors were lovely. The chicken was chunky breast meat. The ingredients included paprika, chicken, mushrooms, onions, and purple cabbage, I think. The seasoning was more like oil pasta than typical cream pasta. The saltiness was just right. I took a bite and was pleasantly surprised! It was so delicious! The noodles were al dente and chewy. The noodles were coated with oil cream sauce, and the vegetables were crunchy. It was amazing! The manager was also very nice, and I would love to go back again. Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal!

Hidden feel is nice → intriguing. As you walk in front of the store, a pleasant aroma drifts. The nostalgic atmosphere inside and outside the store is great ◎ The warmth of the wood is nice. Although it was on my list of places to visit, I had never actually been there → Alright, let's go. No other customers. I was allowed to sit wherever I liked. I looked at the menu → I wanted to try what I liked, so I was all set to go a la carte... but maybe it's better to go with the recommended dishes here. It took me a little while to understand the menu. I was asked, "Is there anything you don't like?"... I see, I see. I understand. I'll have a beer while I wait... Assorted appetizers * Prosciutto * Cream cheese & olives * Chicken gizzards confit → Delicious ◎ Nice that they included my preferences since they asked for them ◎ Appreciated. I switched to a glass of white wine and discussed the atmosphere of the pasta with the friendly mama... I want to try both meat and seafood, and vegetables too... I want to go with something salty, but I also want to try tomato sauce... So, → Chicken and shrimp with cabbage in tomato sauce arrived. The fresh pasta has a nice chewy texture. After one bite, I started to be curious about other dishes... Should I go for another one... but I had another appointment, so I settled the bill here. It would be great if this place was in my neighborhood. Thank you for the meal.

There is a small shop near Hokkaido University with a wide selection of wines, almost like a wine specialty store. Their homemade ginger ale had a Japanese twist to it, not too sweet and delicious. I had their fresh pasta today, and it was incredibly chewy and truly delicious!

There were only four types of wine available by the glass, which felt a bit lacking, but I made a discovery that "Japanese wine is actually quite delicious."

The atmosphere is cozy. The portions are generous. The place seems popular with many customers and beloved by regulars. The staff includes a lovely woman. I'm sorry, but I think those who like the ambiance, taste, portions, and presentation of the dishes will love this place.

I have always wanted to visit this shop recommended by a wine-loving acquaintance! Located on a small street just off Kita-dori, "Les Ann" is a short leisurely walk of less than 10 minutes from Sapporo Station. The retro exterior lights and frosted glass door give off a nice ambiance. The interior is extremely stylish as well. I immediately ordered the fresh pasta - zucchini and shirasu (baby sardines) peperoncino with thick, chewy noodles. The wheat flavor comes through nicely. I wanted to pair it with white wine but was unsure of the menu. When I mentioned my wine preference, they confidently brought out a selection for me. It was delicious! To make the most of the experience, we also ordered a cheese platter. Since we had eaten a lot at our previous stop, the three of us could only manage to try these two dishes. I definitely want to come back for lunch or visit as the first stop next time!

I happened to find this restaurant at lunchtime. It is located near Sapporo Station, but off the main street and quite small, so I had never noticed it before. I entered around 3 pm and there were no customers, but a very friendly woman greeted me. She led me inside the stylish and cute interior, filled with lots of wines. I regretted not coming at night because I was working and couldn't drink wine (haha). I ordered a set with pasta, dessert, and a drink. I chose the shrimp cream pasta, iced tea, and cheesecake. The pasta surprised me with its hand-cut noodles and rich shrimp cream sauce that coated the noodles well. The sauce and pasta paired perfectly, and the chewy noodles gave a satisfying fullness. After enjoying the pasta, I eagerly awaited the cheesecake. It had a homemade, gentle flavor with rum-soaked raisins sandwiched inside, and it was delicious. I will definitely come back at night next time. Thank you for the meal.

It is a shop located a little north of Sapporo Station, down a small alley. I had been curious about it for a while (*^^*) I finally stepped inside today since I had some business nearby. I chose the lunch set for 1300 yen, which includes pasta, a drink, and dessert. You can choose your favorite items for each. If you order them separately, it would cost 1800 yen, so it's a good deal. Until 2 pm, a salad is included as a service. I ordered a slightly carbonated cider vinegar drink. The vinegar flavor is subtle and it seems good for the body. There were various drink options, so it was a bit hard to choose. You can also choose wine, so it's great for those who want to have a drink during the day. I chose the chicken and burdock miso cream pasta. As soon as it was brought to me, a nice white wine aroma filled the air. Every bite made me take a deep breath (*´∀`) The ingredients include chicken, burdock, shimeji mushrooms, and enoki mushrooms, oh, and ginger too! The miso cream is rich, and the fresh pasta is thick flat noodles with a great elasticity and chewiness. The wheat flavor is delicious as you chew. It was my favorite type of noodles. The menu mentioned that the normal portion is 150g, but you can add 150 yen to make it 220g. The 150g portion was satisfying enough due to its firm texture. For dessert, I had the rum-soaked raisins on ice cream, which had been soaked for two weeks. The rich vanilla ice cream was topped with lots of rum-soaked raisins and liqueur. There was also a heart-shaped petit gateau on top. I enjoyed it as it started to melt just right. It was delicious. I had a leisurely time in the cozy little shop.

I found a Stamina-yaki restaurant near the place I used to visit before. Since there seemed to be no parking lot, I parked at the nearby coin parking and headed to the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant exudes a calm atmosphere in a compact space, with frames on the walls filled with foreign words. The background music playing is elegant classical music that makes you feel like you've become wealthy. On this day, there was a lunch set menu for 1300 yen, so I chose the "Anchovy Tomato Pasta" for the pasta, "Gateau Chocolat" for dessert, and "Hot Coffee" for the drink. I calmly asked the cool-headed waitress for my order. First, the appetizer arrived, with warm homemade-flavored bread and crispy corn playing a big role, along with a pudding-like tofu and a slightly spicy olive oil-dressed eggplant. The main pasta dish featured fresh pasta with thick, flat noodles called "Tsurushiko," which felt satisfying to chew. The sauce coating the noodles had a refreshing tomato flavor with a strong acidity, complemented by the anchovy's aroma, and the presence of olive and small grains of Japanese pepper. There was a condiment called "Karashi Binega" on the table, which resembled Okinawa's "Koregusu," and when added to the pasta, it enhanced the flavor with the acidity of vinegar and the spiciness of island chili peppers. The coffee that arrived five seconds after finishing the meal was very easy to drink, light yet with a slight bitterness and a hint of sweetness from the beans. The Gateau Chocolat dessert had a firm texture with a bittersweet, mature flavor, and when combined with the berry sorbet on top and the berry sauce on the plate, it created a delicious harmony. It's a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy authentic fresh pasta at a reasonable price for lunch in a very calm space, but personally, I couldn't help but feel a sense of tension (intimidation?) and a lonely feeling that this might not be the place for an out-of-place guy to visit. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around lunchtime. [Lunch Pasta] for 1300 yen includes pasta, drink, and dessert. I ordered the [Homemade Bacon Tomato Sauce] pasta. The pasta was made from fresh noodles and had a chewy texture. It was thin but firm, with some parts being thick. It was kind of like al dente, and I didn't mind it. But the bacon was really delicious! It had a good meaty flavor. I really liked it. The mozzarella was like firm tofu. For dessert, I chose the [Separate Stomach Rum Raisin Ice Cream]. It was topped with plenty of raisins soaked in rum, and the rum flavor was also present. It was delicious!

I visit this restaurant often with my coworkers, and this is my first review after visiting for the fourth time. This place is known for its fresh pasta, but the pasta made by the soba artisan here is more like udon made with just wheat flour. Well, it's more like udon than pasta, to be honest. Some people have mixed opinions, but I quite like the thick wheat noodle pasta here that feels like it's packed with wheat flour. After eating it once, I strangely start craving this dense wheat-flour pasta with a unique charm. Oh, and it's very filling too! I ordered the chicken and burdock miso cream pasta for 800 yen. It doesn't have a strong miso flavor, and the cream is light and easy to eat. The ginger adds a nice flavor accent, giving it a unique deliciousness. I also ordered the olive fry with tuna for 500 yen, which was delicious! The crispy batter and the umami of the tuna enhance the flavor of the olives even more! It's a recommended dish for wine pairing or for olive lovers. By the way, the shrimp miso rich tomato cream sauce I tried before was tasty but lacked shrimp in the cream, and the anchovy spicy tomato sauce didn't quite blend well with the pasta. So, my current favorite is the chicken and burdock miso cream pasta. This place seems to have a wide variety of wines, and during a farewell party dinner course, they kept bringing out red and white wine bottles until they were empty, delighting the drinkers (unfortunately, I'm a light drinker so I couldn't share in that joy). They also have periodic champagne tasting events called "Sparkling Wine Party." The interior has a warm European old farmhouse feel. With table seating and counter seats facing the wall, it's easy for solo diners to visit. The lunch sets include dessert, appetizers, and drinks for around 1300 yen, and you can enjoy pasta alone in the evening for around 800 yen, making it a casual and welcoming place to dine.

On Friday night, I visited this restaurant alone. After leaving Isopp Bakery, I walked towards the center of Sapporo. It was snowing lightly, and the roads were in bad condition, with my coat and shoes getting wet and muddy. I was thinking about where to have a solo drinking party for the night, but it was so cold and rainy that I decided to choose a nearby restaurant and give up on walking around to find one.
There were many different restaurants in the area, but I chose this one because it looked like I could be seated right away. The interior was cozy with a nice atmosphere, and there were counter seats available.
Seeing the word "fresh pasta" all over the restaurant, I decided that pasta would be my main dish for the night and ordered a variety of items:
- Course A: 1800 yen (with appetizer)
- Extra-large portion for Course A pasta: +150 yen
- Carlsberg beer
- Fresh vegetable salad (half size)
- Total: 3150 yen
The appetizer for Course A took a long time to arrive, probably because of the quiche. However, the quiche was slightly cold instead of hot, which was disappointing. The taste was good, but the temperature was off.
The Course A pasta (shrimp tomato cream) was served in a large portion without me having to ask for it. The pasta was thick and flat, with a delicious creamy shrimp sauce. The texture of the pasta was slightly firm, which was just right. It was so delicious that I finished it quickly, and the extra-large portion was just enough for me.
I ordered the fresh vegetable salad (half size) because I felt like I needed more vegetables with my meal. It was a salad mainly made of mizuna with a refreshing dressing. The chopsticks provided made it easy to eat.
After enjoying the pasta and beer, I had my usual solo reflection time for the week. It was a great way to end the week. I would like to try other pasta varieties next time as they all looked so tempting. They also serve lunch, so I plan to come back and try the "extra-large" portion for lunch.
Another solo reflection session successfully completed. Now, it's Saturday tomorrow, and I have an early start for something special. Stay tuned for the next review... Thank you for the delicious meal.

I headed to the famous Sichuan mapo tofu restaurant near Todai, but to my surprise, they are closed on Saturdays. I was left speechless (laughs) and decided to explore a new place. I found a place with a nice atmosphere and decided to try it out. They only had lunch sets with fresh pasta. The restaurant was quiet and had a jazz music playing, which I thought suited the space well. The menu was a bit hard to understand for pasta beginners like me, but I ended up choosing a tomato sauce pasta with anchovies and olives. The appetizer came in a stylish dish and the smoked duck was delicious. I thought about how nice it would be to have some wine, but I settled for beer. The pasta was chewy and flavorful, and it tasted even better with beer. I tried Kirin Heartland beer, which was really good. They also offered glass wines at a reasonable price. The dessert and coffee were also well-prepared. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied, having enjoyed a beer and pasta set for 1800 yen.

It was lunchtime and the restaurant was crowded with many customers. The place had a stylish, old-fashioned feel. It seemed like a place where you could come alone without feeling out of place. The lunch price was around 1300 yen, I think? You get to have appetizers, a drink, pasta, and dessert for that price, which was surprisingly cheap. There are many pasta options to choose from, and they taste delicious. The fresh pasta has a really chewy texture, so you can get full easily. There are quite a few dessert options to choose from as well. And the desserts, or should I say cakes, are delicious.
