**Tasty, Cozy Atmosphere, Great Service! A Guaranteed Repeat at Robata Kamameshi!**
Entering a narrow stone-paved alley beside a parking lot in Nishi-Tenma unveils a whole new world! I heard that "Robata to Kamameshi Iokura," which opened in July, has been gaining popularity, so I decided to check it out! The interior, an old wooden warehouse beautifully renovated while preserving its original charm, is delightful. I felt a sense of excitement as soon as I arrived!

**Highlights**:
- **Grilled squid liver**: Served on a solid fuel base, it’s best enjoyed when the butter has melted. Its bitterness pairs excellently with alcohol, making it a great appetizer!
- **Charcoal-grilled giant sardine**: This dish is a must-order! Grilled on skewers over charcoal, for the first bite, hold the skewer with both hands and take a big bite from the back! It's crispy outside and juicy inside, with a progressive sweetness from the sardine’s saltiness—absolutely exquisite!
- **Grilled Wagyu beef skirt steak on straw**: Also a must-try! The aroma from the quick roast with straw is incredible! The meat is free from any unpleasant smell and can be paired with green onions, sesame, and eggs, along with salt, wasabi, a special sauce, or garlic chips for various flavors! You’ll find it hard to stop drinking!
- **Kamameshi**: The kamameshi is another specialty, and since it takes time to prepare, I recommend ordering it early! There were about 10 types to choose from, and I selected the red snapper with golden salmon roe! The pot is small but deep, enough for two men to enjoy at least two bowls each! They even provided broth, allowing us to savor the second bowl as a soup! The red snapper was tender, and the popping texture of the golden salmon roe complemented it well, especially the delicious crispy bits!
**In Conclusion**:
This was a place I wouldn’t typically venture into, but I’m glad I came to this highly praised robata restaurant! Afterward, we walked to Burlesque Osaka in Kitashinchi, which is just a short distance away! The airy interior allows for a great atmosphere from any seat, so you don’t necessarily need to sit at the counter! It feels like they’ve almost reached their final form just a few months after opening! I plan to return for a date next time, aiming for a spot at the counter! Thank you for the delicious meal!
